Very busy massage place nestled in Chinatown. I got a foot massage and it was a nice break from all the walking around NYC. It is a tiny shop so wait times vary depending on how many people are in.

Great service and great pricing. I enjoyed an hour for massage and extended my time by adding a tension releasing back massage. My total was beyond reasonable. Definitely returning.

There is one young man here who clearly does not know what he is doing. He started my foot massage but I kept asking for more pressure. Eventually they switched to someone else far superior and gave me 5 extra minutes. From there on, my experience was excellent.

Sorry. I don't like giving bad reviews. But this was really not good. The young man that tried to give me a massage was clearly not very well trained or skilled. I started out thinking that I would do an hour but very quickly, I realized that it would not work at all. So we shifted to 30 minutes. Then after just a few minutes, I couldn't take it anymore. I wanted to leave. But I didn't want to hurt the guy's feelings. So we shifted to do a few minutes of foot massage. It was just OK. Not exactly good. I feel bad, because the young fellow clearly is a nice fellow and wanted to do a good job. But he just has not been trained. And perhaps does not have the talent for it. Unfortunately, I will need to remember not to come back to this place again. Very sorry to give any place such a bad review. But this is what it was. I just wanted to leave.

This was my go to place in Chinatown. I’d had excellent massages from Mei and Coco. My most recent massage was a disappointment. The masseuse seemed untrained. I don’t think I’ll be coming back.

Update: Their new 87th st/lex location is nice & bright with bigger treatment rooms! It's very close to the 4,5,6 train & Central Park. Now there are 2 locations to choose from Mott st & 87th. If you're in pain ask for Yeng... See Dr. Yeng for great and effective acupuncture, next level cupping and massage. I've been a client of his for many years. I fly to NYC to see him. After a car accident, I'm walking straight again thanks to him. He's very intuitive and knows what he is doing. He gets to know your body and can immediately tell you what needs to be worked on. No frills atmosphere with A+ service. If YKYK...:)

Rio Grande Massage on Mott Street is the best place to get a massage in NYC. I have been coming here since 2004 and 20 years later they are truly the best. Tonight I had a three hour massage - yes 3 - with the masseuse “AARON” and he was SO GOOD that it ranks as one of the best massage I have had in my life. “YENG” is INCREDIBLE and owner and will change your life! Any of the masseuses at Rio Grande is going to be incredible I promise. Even the half hour massage or the chair massage is going to be amazing. Just RUN to RIO GRANDE and make it your regular stop !! I also love the art work on the wall. It’s really a special place on this earth. Bravo Bravo Rio Grande, You guys rock!!

The guy who gave me my foot massage was great! You could tell he knew a lot about acupressure points and he used a timer. The woman who gave my partner his massage was distracted, and ultimately my partner felt like it was more of a gentle touching of his feet instead of an actual massage, which is unfortunate. I also don’t think he got the full 20 min of massage — she didn’t use a timer and she ended at the same time as me but had started later. Had to dock a star for that but otherwise they were very nice

Amazing foot massage 20$ 20min +tax. I came in with a “heavy” feet and left with the rested feet and was able to walk for another 3h without dying. Highly recommended!

lousy, lousy, lousy my one hour foot massage was like a one hour rub. I asked repeatedly for more pressure which never happened. I even mentioned it to the owner who was standing watching it. Sadly the person doing my foot massage was very inexperienced stay away.
