I have been seeing Nichole since 2016. I will never leave her. She is attentive and transparent which I appreciate and look for when it comes to the maintenance of my hair. Recommend Nichole at Rios off of Culebra all day everyday!

I’ve been going here for 8.5 years since moving to the area. First I started with Renee for a few years until she moved. Then Lauren until she moved. I now use Kat or Jeremy mostly.

if i can rate this negative stars i would , nicole “manager” of this place is very disrespectful towards customers, shes rude and unprofessional . She refuses to do her job to certain costumers . if you are looking for a place for service DO NOT go here , you will not be satisfied.

Hello “Rios Golden” I do not mean to hurt anyone but I feel like I have to do this because of the way I felt when I got my hair cut by the stylist Jeremy, and Wow what a despicable and rude way to talk to me during the haircut. At first I told him I wanted a cut like the one in a picture and he suggested something similar and I accepted because I didn’t really know the name of the cut, thinking that if it would look good on me and when he was cutting my hair I told him that before he went any further, if it was better to cut it a little shorter and his immediate response was… Oh now I remembered why I didn’t want to cut your hair since I saw you when you entered the salon, and I was like WHAT?? And he told me that I always gave him me problems and that I was always make him do three haircuts on me and that’s a waste of time and work for him and he started to offend me for that, we were talking so nicely about the holidays previously and out of nowhere he started with a rude and offensive tone telling me that I also work in sales and that there are times when you have to say these things to the client because they always take advantage that according to him I was trying to do with him. It was so uncomfortable that I told him excuse me sir you don't have to talk to me like that and you don't have to keep cutting my hair even though I've come with Jeremy to get my hair cut before and he almost always makes some kind of sarcastic comments but since I don't pay much attention to him and I didn't take it personally like this time. I don’t think I’d get my hair cut by him again and the truth is I just wish you could talk to him so he could learn how to deal with clients. I told him maybe you’re confusing me with someone else who’s making you struggle and he kept telling me “Nope” you’re that person because I’ve been cutting hair for 30 years and I never forget faces and I was like “Wow” I can’t believe you’re talking to me like that sir. Then he changed his tone of voice a little because it was obvious he was angry with me and I was in shock and not knowing what to do. I hope a manager or the owner talks to him and that someone else doesn’t have this bad experience. I never thought I’d give you a bad review and this is the first time I’ve done it. This bad review is NOT for RIOS GOLDEN but it is for the stylist Jeremy, I am so sorry and although I told him that I had no bad feelings towards him and that I wanted to continue going to RIOS but when I left I felt so helpless and offended by what he made me feel that I had to do this because I have been going here and with other stylists for years and something like this has never happened to me and I do not want it to happen to another client and to receive better treatment. In the end I do not know if he realized that he was making a mistake and tried to apologize but it was too late after all and he did not want to charge me for the cut but I did not accept it and anyways I paid $25 in cash, he did not want to take it but I left it at the front desk and I left very disappointed. I just hope that something like this can be fixed and that it does not happen to someone else.

For the past few years, Kat has been my go-to-person for my haircut. Regarding the quality of the cut, I continue to be a happy camper. More importantly, my wife also is a happy camper. In addition to the cut, I enjoy sitting in Kat's chair, sharing my thoughts and stories, and listening hers.

I went to Rios Golden Cut and waited for 10 mins not very long. I got my haircut in a fashionably manner. They'd deserve the best. Very awesome people to talk too and very much friendly as well.

The stylists are professional and personable in their interactions. They do a great job. I have come to this Rios location for several years, keeping the same “traditional” hair style throughout that time. When I told Kess that I wanted to try something new, she helped me select an alternative look, implemented it, and gave me tips on how to keep it looking good.
