Called in to schedule appointments for my 3 sons. Was scheduled with Erin. 1st son is completely uneven and was in tears for hours after (we did ask to cut the length off the top, thin b/c so thick, and showed her pictures of what we wanted). My 2nd son has uneven neckline & a hole in his hair. After the 2nd son, my 3rd son elected to not get his haircut there. Cheap, but shows unfortunately....thankfully it will grow back, but not how they wanted to return to in-person school 😥

I like coming here but the last two times I came in for my haircut they told me to wait in my car and that they would call me. I never got any call, I think their phone systems are not working right. Let them know your vehicle and park outside the rios hopefully this helps prevent people from waiting like I did.

If you don’t want to end bald don’t come here. I went here days ago and a blond lady named Aaron chopped my hair tooo short. I almost have a heart attack. I asked her to cut ONLY the ends and a little bit. I felt my hair different and when I took a shower I realize she left me almost bald, I wanted to cry. Now I can’t even put my hair in a bun.

I’ve been coming here since this location opened. Ever since Margie retired the place has been horrible. Poor customer service. Change the website and google so the hours are accurate. Lost my business after all these years.

Kat was superb with my hair cut. It's been difficult to find a good salon with experienced stylists in San Antonio. I'm so glad I tried them, will definitely be going back for color! Kat was very patient and made sure I was comfortable since I was nervous yet again to try a new place for my cut. This place is a gem and very easy to find off the road. Can't wait till my next appointment!

At first, I went to Rios to support "Local" business owners. Now, I continue to go to Rios because of the wonderful PEOPLE who take care of my daughter & I. LORIE & KAT, are hands down not only talented but make ME feel like part of the family. 🙏

Erin is by far one of the best stylists there. She’s a perfectionist and wants you to walk away happy with your haircut. For those of you folks who have or are considering a flattop, she would be the one to ask for. Very few are trained to perform this style as apparently it isn’t the easiest to master. That and it is more time consuming than the average haircut. Highly recommend giving her a shot. She does it all.

Excellent haircut every time i go there. John is a great stylist and listens to what you want before getting started and then delivers with an awesome cut. Always great service at a reasonable price. You wont be disappointed.

I should have heeded the warning about John. What a terrible haircut! Don't believe the reviews about John. He probably wrote them himself. Stay away from here

I was very skeptical about this place at first being it was a bargain rate type of haircut salon. But then I was told about Erin and how she cut his hair and he looked good. I decided to give it a go and let her do my hair. She was very very professional in the way she did it and every time I have gone back she has remembered what type of cut to be done. Keep her there !

If I could give this place 0 stars I would! I went in for a trim today. Asked if she could just cut an inch off and that’s it. Well, she cut off WAY more than asked to and just completely CHOPPED the front And top half of my hair off. I look like I have a bowl cut on the top and the bottom half is still long. I have NEVER had a haircut go so wrong in my life before. I wanted to cry sitting there in that chair today. No, I didn’t have to pay for my haircut, which would’ve only cost $16 but now I have to pay for extensions that’ll cost me $200+. Please, please, please don’t go to this place, it’ll cost more than expected. Bye bye confidence!

I’ve been getting my haircuts at rios for a little over a year now. Everytime I walk in, John greets me with a smile and gives me some of the best haircuts I’ve ever had. 10/10 would recommend to a friend.

My 2 boys and I have been seeing Jon for a few years now. A recent visit, he was able to schedule an appt for later that afternoon and was able to take my teenager a bit earlier while I arrived later with my other son.
