I paid him for an hour but he said he finished in 15 minutes. This is very bad. I suffered moral damage. They lied to me.

My husband and I needed a last minute massage. They accommodated for us and got us in really quick. Everyone was really flexible with us in the process of getting us set up for our message. We did the couple's massage. We had a really good experience! Our masseuses were really friendly, professional, and make sure our massages were comfortable along with relaxation! We need more massage spas like this one! :)

Place was ok. Clean. I didn't like the fact that they couldn't barely understand English, the masseuse sneezed on my foot WITHOUT covering her mouth and I didn't like the other employees coming in and out of the door while I was getting serviced, talking and going back and forth. Then at the end, the receptionist (who came in after I started my service who knew English) asked how everything went, I tried to tell her about the experience, she cut me off and asked me if I wanted to tip 😒 I won't be going to back.

Great place for a massage. Very professional staff and they know what they are doing. You can ask for different levels of pressure depending on your pain tolerance. Update: Service is not what it used to be. After booking a 90 minute massage they never asked me about my pressure areas and since it was a 90 min massage i assumed all my painful areas will be treated. In middle of the massage the owner told me the massage will be cut short to 70 mins which is very weird. Of which 5 -10 mins was wasted for water i asked for and the owner’s intervention. My calves and hamstrings the reason i came to get massage for didn’t get much work done. And then she charged me for a 70 min massage which was at best a 60 min (very mediocre) and then requested a tip to which i denied saying the service was not up to the mark. She got angry and said you don’t have to come back if the service is shitty to a person who has been coming here for the last 3 years. Could have easily accepted their mistake and kept a loyal customer.

I called and scheduled a massage they told me to come in right away once I got there, there was a small mishaps about me having an appointment later I cleared that up and then proceeded to make the payment where I was asked to tip right a way i think if the owners knew that people usually like to tip after they received their services things would go much smoother after I was takin to the back I was treated much kinder after I told the therapist I wasn’t tipping until after the service. This was my first massage it was a bit awkward I tipped well and left but the next day my back hurt so bad I had knots and bruises it felt as if I got into a really bad fight might be my first and last time paying to let someone beat me up

Unprofessional through the whole experience. We arrived early for our appointment and we were told it would be 10 to 15 completely fine. We weren’t taken back until 45 minutes after our appointment was scheduled so 55 minutes after we were told 10/15 minutes. There was an odd smell in the waiting room. When we got to the room my massage therapist did not ask me any questions about pressure I prefer or anything. It was evident that he was just going through the motions. He was using one hand at a time switching back and forth. He smelt of strong cigarette smoke which made the appointment not enjoyable. He never once asked how I felt about the pressure. He did have conversations with the female therapist and they were talking to each other and laughing at multiple times in our “relaxing” massage. When we went to leave we were charged a different price than I had gotten from the woman we checked in with. While standing there the female therapist came to the desk and blatantly said “ do you have my tip” I still planned to tip for the service even though my massage was not enjoyable but her approach was completely unacceptable. I would not recommend this place.

Upon arrival for our 60 minute couples massage, the receptionist greets us with several questions. "Are you using Groupon ($137.70) or their special ($140)?" "Are you paying with cash or card? Using a card would be a different amount." After I agreed to pay their cash price, I notice a sign on the window, "Couple's 50 minute spa massage for $115" So I ask the receptionist, other than the additional 10 minutes, what's the difference in the service? As if confused by the question, she response "Well you are getting 1 hour not 50 minutes." I replied, "Yes, I understand that but what is the difference in the massages?" Again she looks puzzled and says "So, that is for 2 people to get 50 minute massage but you are to get 1 hour, okay." Thanks to my husband and given that we were planning on paying the $140, I let it go. They were running 10 minutes behind so once we were escorted to the room there was no lighting and we had to use our phone to see to undress. Once the massages began, the 2 ladies talked in the native language the whole time and at one point they stop our massages to look at my nails and inquire about the colors. Prior to beginning, we request them not to touch our hair. This request was completely ignored. Once finished, we were rushed to get dressed and exit the room, I guess they had another client. The unbelievable part is when we go to exit, the 2 workers are at the reception desk instructing us to leave a tip. WHAT?! A tip? I looked at my husband who seemed equally amazed by their brazen behavior, I reached in my purse, pulled out two $5 bills, set it on the counter and walked out. I do not recommend this establishment to anyone. There are plenty of other places to provide better service.

My wife and I got a couples massage. I had never had a professional massage. It was life changing. I've never felt so relaxed. The masseuse helped me get into the proper positions and made me feel very comfortable. I am a very large and stiff individual, her technique was able to loosen up my problem areas. (Neck, shoulders and back) I was also very surprised how well she massaged my legs and arms. The facility was very clean. The hostess was very friendly as well. I highly recommend! It was also a great deal! Don't forget to tip your masseuse! They work very hard!

When we were leaving some woman would not stop harassing us about a tip. She said its how her workers get by which for 1 you arent paying them enough because its a $200 massage and 2 how rude is that to ask us three or four times after we say no

Visited Risen Day Spa for the first time and left very impressed. Super clean facility/rooms, owner and staff are friendly and helpful. I opted for the herbal bath, which the bathtub is right in the massage room. Then a 60 minute massage. Sophia gave easily the best massage I’ve ever had. Medium pressure, using her hands, fingertips, elbows and forearms to work her magic. She asked several times if the pressure was right and to let her know if not. Had a nice and lighthearted conversation with everyone before leaving and told them I’m definitely coming back soon. Highly recommended!
