I was take a facial last month date 30 believe me they lady damage my skin , she poke my pimple so badly now is become so bad , i told her that time are sure is gone go ? She said after 2 day make will be gone now my skin look so bad all over acne and marks 🤬. I'm so unhappy to see my self like that 😡 they're facial also not good. 😌

(December of 2022) I went to the Ritz for a massage and it was amazing!! I highly recommend. They catered to me and made me feel so comfortable. - When I got there I was told to get into the sauna for 25 minutes to help loosen my muscles and then they took me to a beautiful room where the massage was. This was probably one of the best massages I've ever had. The overall experience was amazing. (READ UPDATED REVIEW BELOW) (March of 2024) I felt compelled to update my spa review after a follow-up visit that starkly contrasted my initial, outstanding massage experience. Upon my arrival, the spa was noticeably empty, and I was promptly escorted to the massage room, bypassing the sauna—an inclusion I hadn't needed to request previously. They did let me use the sauna but the massage bed was still not ready once it was time for the massage to start. The room was freezing and the table had a makeup-stained headrest, which I requested to be changed. As soon as the massage started I knew it was going to be a flop. There was a lot of rubbing and pushing but almost no massaging taking place. When the women was rubbing up and down on my back I could tell that she wasn't aware of the anatomy of the muscles because she was rubbing in strange directions where my muscles were actually moving all over and it was painful. Immediately she started doing a chopping motion up and down my body and made it clear that she was in a rush. She did not massage the entire body and really only focused on the upper back. To conclude the session, an application of oil caused an unbearable burning and itching sensation on my skin. Adding insult to injury, there was a discrepancy between the initially quoted price and the amount charged when leaving. This experience left me both disappointed and regretful for the payment made for such subpar service.

I bought a Groupon for lash extension and they were great accommodating me For an appointment right away . The problem I encounter was that the tech didn’t not follow through with a ask her I wanted . She put on extra thick and natural lashes after I told her want I wanted . She put extra thick lashes , the started to fall off the minute I left salon . I was traveling the next day and wasn’t able to go back . So I had to take them off on the second day of my trip . The were heavy and super thick, didn’t last 3 full days . Very unfortunate .. that almost ruined my trip .

Me and my girlfriend had went to this spa for the very first time, the environment was amazed both of us, it is very clean and pleasant, we got an individual couple room and the process was quiet I feel so relax couldn’t control myself for falling asleep. And she had her eyelashes done and it turned out beautiful, she told me the technician was professionally light handed you can’t even feel what she was doing. I would recommend this place to everyone who is looking for a place to go on a date, they even have a sauna room and shower rooms, clean towels are provided. Facials, massages, and eyelash extensions all you need is combined one place!

Best spa in downtown Philly, I’ve been a few places but this is the most quiet, clean, and their prices are very affordable. The technicians are friendly, I get my facial and lashes done once a month, my skin looks great and with the lashes I don’t even have to put makeup on! I love this place and I have to give them a thumbs up.

Easy to make a reservation. Received a reminder text the day before. Easy to find the location. There was a sign on the wall and one of those standing signs outside. You can take the stairs up to the second floor and ring the doorbell or take the elevator. There was a sign on the door when I walked up that said if they don't answer the door, take the elevator. They opened for me. Changed into slippers, confirmed my Groupon, asked if I'd like water or to use the restroom, then was shown to my room for the facial. The friendly staffed explained what I needed to change into then exited the room for my privacy. She came back a couple minutes later to get started. But first, she added an extra blanket and adjusted my leg rest for comfort. Oh, and there was a heating mat on the bed. It felt amazing!! She explained what was going to be done, checked if there was any adjustment needed, and was attentive to my movements. The extraction was not as painful as I was expecting which was great! The massage was so relaxing I wish I could get one daily. The mask was cold and refreshing. She left the room for a while during the mask part. I was so comfortable I was about to fall asleep. I would definitely come back here!

I get my eyelashes done here and the lash technician does an amazing job! She pays great attention to detail and the sessions take an hour at most. I always get compliments after i get them done! The spa is very clean and the staff are all very professional and friendly. I also got a massage here once and need to go again, it was so relaxing!

The place is nice and clean, staffs are hospitable. I got my lashes done with them, and I love it! The service was awesome and right to the point. The technician is good as well, she understand what I want and her hands are soft, gentle, and fast. Definitely thumbs-up!

I don’t usually write reviews, but I had to for this place. My girlfriend and I came here on a Wednesday for her birthday. I purchased the 90 mins facial, deep tissue massage, and sauna from Groupon for about $114 each. Upon entering the massage/facial room we were impressed by the cleanliness and nice aesthetics. The place looked very new and beautiful. They started with the deep tissue massage. It was a little weak for me, but my friend did have to tell her masseus to lighten up. Eitherways, they kept checking up on us to make sure it wasn’t painful and it was quite relaxing. Afterwards, we flipped over for the facial. It included gentle extractions, lots of moisturizers, and a face mask at the end. The gentle extractions really cleaned out my nose blackheads without making my nose red. The moisturizers have my face still very soft 2 days later. They added a lip mask after noticing my lips were dry that was amazing. My lips are dry no matter what I do and they are significantly better even 2 days later. Afterwards, they let us use the sauna. They said we had 15 mins but they let us use it for however long we want. They had a shower there and basic makeup for afterwards. Also a dyson hair dryer. We ended up spending about 2.5 hours there. This was by far theee BEST Spa, Sauna place I’ve been to thus far. My son treated me for a birthday gift - I promise, we was there almost 3 hrs….they gave us extra time in Sauna as a Courtesy-because they were double booked but even then, we felt like we were the only ones in the place! From Sauna, to deep tissue message to Facials then “STILLNESS AND QUIETNESS” in that exact ORDER, Soooo relaxing, quiet and so well needed and appreciated , My sons 1st professional message and he’s already trying to fit this experience into his monthly Buget 🤣…. We will definitely be back, staff verrry concerned with the well-being of there customers, oh and they didn’t even kw it was my birthday 🥳 until we were done with everything (this alone says a lot about how they treat customers)! We’ll definitely be back for more experiences! And I don’t usually write reviews….

VERY bad experience the lady I had must was exhausted because she wasn’t massaging right and we was in the couples room and the 2 women were giggling and talking over our head not to mention we said we loved the music and she made a comment you like rap music better and I’m definitely African American but I told no I actually prefer gospel 🤦🏾‍♀️ 😞 VERY BAD experience especially for such HIGH prices

Wow! I was so pleasantly surprised when I arrived here yesterday. I purchased a Groupon for a 60 minute deep tissue massage with 15 minutes in the sauna. The place was super updated and modern, everything was polished, aesthetically gorgeous, clean. The front desk agent was super polite and outgoing, my massage therapist did an amazing job working out my knots but also making sure I was comfortable. I just went ahead and purchased another 60 minute massage because I enjoyed it so much.

Wow they are really the best spa place in chinatown, I got a mini facelift facial and i have to say it was an exuberant experience and my face feels very nice and tight after. Definitely will come back!
