I’ve been having BBL Hero Laser treatments at Riva Medspa for the past two years now to address some sun damage pigmentation on my body. I’m absolutely delighted with the results so far and feel like Dr. Nguyen has really taken his time with me to ensure the very best outcome possible for my skin. I’ve seen spots that I’ve had for 20+ years completely disappear! The staff is extremely friendly, welcoming & accommodating. The establishment is also very clean, cozy, and well maintained. I’m happy to find such a nice little gem of a Medspa!

I highly recommend Riva MEDSPA as the best place for cosmetic procedures in VA Beach. I’ve had Botox, fillers, and Skin Pen all done here and am so pleased with the results. Dr. Nguyen takes the time to listen and answer questions and delivers natural looking results to his patients. The entire team is friendly, kind, welcoming, and professional. We all deserve to age gracefully and Riva MEDSPA helps make that possible!

I went a got my first lip filler by Kayla. I was super nervous because I already have full lips and I wanted to get lip filler to add hydration and symmetry to my face. Kayla understood the assignment!!! I am in love with my results! Kayla has been in this field for years and you can tell she truly loves it. She takes so much time going over information beforehand to make her clients comfortable. She also has a gentle hand so the pain was very minimal. HIGHLY recommend going over to the Riva MEDSPA for treatments. You won't regret it.

I can’t say enough good things about my experience. I was able to get advice from Kayla and she even helped me in picking some skin care products that would work best with my skin. She was so professional and knowledgeable about all of my questions. You can tell she really enjoys what she does and it shows in her work. I first met Brittany and the Dr. A little over a year and a half ago. I was struggling to take care of my skin and wanted to educate myself on skincare and do whatever I could to look as good on the outside as I feel on the inside. It all started with a facial before moving on to botox, some lip filler, and my first chemical peel. The difference in the way my skin looks and feels is life changing. It feels good to hear people tell me how clean and shiny my skin looks and ask what I use and where I go for treatment. I drive down all the way from Baltimore about once a month for a facial or peel and just recently had my lips touched up after a year. I couldn’t be happier to have found Riva Med Spa, Brittany, and the Dr. You guys are the best and I’m so grateful for you.

I just wanted to take the time to highlight and give recognition to Kayla at Riva. My wife Tori when we first started dating had severe acne which left her with scaring she has always been self conscious about. Although I think she is beautiful we all have things about ourselves that we dislike or wish that we could change. Tori found a type of collagen facial that Riva offered and after receiving that service I just want to say how much joy as a husband it gives me to see my wife happy and to feel beautiful just as I see her. Kayla was extremely professional and knowledgeable about her craft. She was funny and just an overall wonderful person to work with. I would recommended her to all of my family and friends. I moved to Virginia Beach in June of 2021 and have been in search of a good local Med Spa. I’ve had some “not so good” experiences from a couple different places in the area. It took me a while but I’ve finally found the “Holy Grail” of all things beauty in Virginia Beach… Riva Medspa! The girls in the office, Leica and Brittany are friendly, knowledgeable and always make you feel at home. And by the way, Brittany gives the best facial ever! Dr. Nguyen is the best! He explained my procedure in detail as we went along, takes his time to make sure everything is just perfect and has a very gentle hand. I can’t wait for my next appointment!

I am very pleased with my experience at Riva Med Spa. I went to Brittany about sun damage and aging skin. She recommended the Halo treatment with BBL. Having been disappointed by IPL treatments from a different facility in the past, I was skeptical that I would see significant change, but everything Brittany and Dr. Nguyen promised came true! Age spots that had appeared on my cheek are now gone, along with years of sun damage! I highly recommend this procedure for anyone who has dark spots caused by age or sun! I will definitely be returning to Riva for future treatments as needed!

If you’re looking for a Med Spa with amazing staff that treat and care for you like family, this place is for you! I absolutely love the entire experience when I am there. My appointments are always on time, the staff is friendly and not pushy with sales. Their prices are good too! Dr. Nguyen, Leica and Brittany are amazing! They have the top equipment treatments- I am doing a series of the Emsculpt Neo right now and I am LOVING the results! I have done the Microneedling Skinpen treatment too and loved the finished look of texture of my skin! Brittany is my go to girl for the best skincare recommendations too! Highly recommend!
