My last visit was horrible. Nails looked clumped up, polish wasn't completely dry. Nail tech cut me from filing to hard. I even texted him and let him know. No response. I will not be returning to him.

The worse pedicure service - never asked about the length of toe nails, didn't cut cuticles, didn't file nails, barely cleaned up my toes. Although there's a language barrier, I've never ever had such bad service.

I got a set of nails with gel polish. They do NOT know how to apply gel polish. Patchy, uneven work with the polish not even covering the whole nail. I asked for two simple “A”’s on my nails and the two letters were rushed and look very crooked and uneven. They didn’t even shave off the inside of the nails (where you can see ur natural nails grow) which made it real easy for food to get stuck in the very bulky crevices of the built up acrylic powder. A whole month later they start to fall off, which is normal, but it’s very painful and I even started bleeding from the way they applied the nails SO CLOSE to the edge of my nails, basically applying it to the skin. Destroyed my actual nail beds once they were off. Nail salons nowadays don’t know proper techniques of applying nails— go to an independent/small business artist instead.

Thank God I’m moving next week just got in the car it was the last time Nancy was going to do my toes because I’m moving literally every time my toes are messed up she’s talking on the phone gabbing her chops the whole time it’s not relaxing whatsoever I just walked out of there I didn’t even think to look at my toes before I left they are ugly af like seriously she can’t even get the links correct I got one big toe nail that’s 10 times longer than the other absolutely ridiculous do not go to this place!!!

Absolutely my worst experience at a nail salon. I asked for my nails to be cut short and square, was told to go wash my hands. Made another comment, ignored again. Plus they came out terrible. I’m not confrontational so I just paid and left but wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone and will definitely not be back. My nails are already peeling in less than 24 hours.

Not a hygienic salon at all! Was already feeling uncomfortable with the staff being pushy trying to upgrade services and when I was finally done and trying to put on my slides the lady ripped the foam sandals and toe separators off my feet and put them back in the drawer TO REUSE! There was already a few red flags about hygiene and I was trying to give them the benefit of the doubt but that was confirmation that supplies were not being cleaned properly so go at your own risk

THE ABSOLUTE WORST ALL I WANTED WAS GEL POLISH THIS LADY CUT MY NAIL TO FAR THEN TRIED TO MAKE ME GET FAKE NAILS AFTER I REPEATEDLY SAID GEL POLISH SHE THEN GOES AND GET A BOWL FOR A MANICURE BUY TGIS TIME IM AGGRAVATED BECAUSE YOUR NOT LISTENING AND YOUR TRYING TO DO WHAT U WANT AND NOT WHAT I ASKED…SAVE YOUR MONEY AND TIME LADIES AND GO TO ANOTHER NAIL SHOP NOT THIS ONE.

They were quick yes, but they didn’t cure my nails fully and they were sticky. My appointment took 15 minutes in full to get a fill, and the employees were rude. My friend who came with me was pushed to the end of the line when a regular came in WITHOUT an appointment and interrupted my appointment to ask for her own nails to be shortened and a color change. When I asked to sit under the UV light for longer so they weren’t sticky, one lady just gave me a nasty look while the other pulled out a machine and pointed. A male employee came up and tried to tell me my nails were fine and that he “didn't know what I was referring to” when I showed him the difference between my uncured nails and my friends cured nails. I was willing to look past the rushing through my nails since they LOOK okay, but it’s unacceptable to be rude and argue with me when I ask for a simple fix.

I came in and asked if they were able to do designs and was told yes. I showed the design and was told they can do that exact design. The nail shape was wrong and when I asked if it could be changed I was told she could not change it. The design colors as well as the design was completely off and it was a simple design compared to the designs they have posted. The shop was about to close and it was late so I came back the next day they were open and explained to them what happened. The workers argued with me and tried to convince me they looked good and told me they could only fix the chipping although I payed $90. The customer service is unacceptable and prices is unreasonable since they cannot fulfill basic designs and overcharge. I would not recommend this place especially if you want any type of design.

My husband decided Saturday to get my nails and toes done which I haven’t had done in YEARS. The guy who did my toes was great!!! I’m actually sad I didn’t get his name. The guy that did my nails on the other hand was a 2/10 at first I thought he was being funny but then later realized he wasn’t he didn’t actually want to be there. He filed my nails so hard I was pulling away and throughout the entire session I was getting more and more uncomfortable. I asked for a simple set of a nails and he was so resistant on wanting to do ombré which I was fine with but then started adding glitter and didn’t even add the smiley face . I asked him at the chair for the price so I could let me husband know, but was told a different price when we went to the front? I’m just confused and upset from the whole experience . I’m not a loud person when something is wrong so if you have social anxiety DONT COME HERE AND DEFINITELY DONT SIT WITH JOHNNY😐 the nails not even close to what I asked for. My thumb keeps bleeding and is PAINFUL since getting them done I have another nail that was bleeding but that one healed overnight. AND YES I STILL DID PAY/TIP because like I said I’m not a vocal person and have bad anxiety with confrontation . Picture : nails, thumb nail, and what I asked for😐

This establishment is horrible. The staff is very unprofessional and the services i received was HORRIBLE. I would not recommend to anyone. The selected pedicure i received ($35) lasted for 15 minutes, The staff talked the entire time during pedicure. I will not be back. The health department needs to be called on them. Their work stations are deplorable and they cross contaminate tools for services.

Got a mani Pedi today. Ms Anne did an awesome job. I absolutely love my nails. And the pedicure..I almost fell asleep. Very good prices all the ladies are very courteous. I'm telling all my friends to go there

I have come to River City nails since 2007. Last Sunday (8/18/24) I got a fill in and on Tuesday (8/20/24) my nails started cracking. I was out of town on a business trip, therefore I was not able to go to the salon. I came to River City today (8/25/24) to ask them to correct my nails. I was asked to wait and someone would help me. I waited 30 minutes just to be told it’s my fault my nails started cracking. The first person stated the nails were done too thin. Which I agree and is the reason they started cracking. Not one person I spoke to at River City apologized. I was asked by five different employees my issue and not one of them Acknowledged or apologized for my inconvenience. I will not give River City anymore of my business.

I love getting my toes nails done but when I went it was a little late but they were very nice. They messed up my toe nails didn’t even bother to even them out and the paint was extremely splashy and didn’t even paint both of my baby toe nails. Spent $130 you’d expect to get good Service. Never again.

Never Ever Again! Worst experience I have ever had. First the lady who did my pedicure kept insisting I choose a more expensive service than I was asking for. When refused she then told me needed my eyebrows done, only $10 more dollars. I told her I wasn't interested in an eyebrow wax. My salon normally waxes my eyebrows. But she would not take no for an answer. Finally I just said “okay” to make her stop asking me. Then I showed her a picture of what I wanted. Extremely simple. A pink color with one sparkly silver toe. She brings out the pink that was much too lite of a pink. I told her I felt the color was too lite and did not match the picture but she assured me it was the correct color. After painting my first nail she realizes it's too lite and says I need to have a French tip pedicure instead of what I asked for so that the lite pink will look good. Only $5 more dollars! At this point I just wanted to get out of the place so I said fine. In the end the French tip looked good so I didn't complain. Two days later the nail polish starts peeling off my toes. I mean just peeling right up. Keep in mind this us GEL polish and it's been TWO days. So I call and explain I want them to redo my nails. I am going on my anniversary trip and that's why I paid $75 for my nails. They tell me to come in. I come in and they make a complete scene. I was asked who did my nails. I couldn't find the lady but honestly I didn't want the same lady. So I asked if they would just have someone else fix them (they had a ton of available techs.) They REFUSED to fix them. They said if wanted them fixed I needed to find the lady who did them. They literally made me walk the entire store looking at each nail tech to find the lady. Finally I found her. She blamed me. Because somehow it's my fault that GEl polish comes off two days later. She even had the nerve to say she told me I shouldnt have got a French tip procure. Excuse me?! I NEVER asked for this. I explain at this point I just want something simple. Take off the old polish and we can just color them one simple color. Nope she goes and chooses another lite pink color and does any other French tip. They don't listen and they are rude as can be. I felt so bad because the poor lady sitting beside me was having a horrible experience as well. She was trying to tell them they were not doing her nails the way she asked and they just kept telling her how good they look. Beware. They could really care less about your experience they just want your money.
