I love this place. I moved to winthrop Harbor illinois but still go back to Chicago to get my hair cut here. I love the service & they know exactly what I want.

11/5/23 I've lived in the neighborhood and have been coming to Riveria Hair Salon for 18 years. I highly recommend Dea and Becky, the two primary female hair cutters who cut hair full time. They always do a fabulous job, know my hair style preference by heart, and don't have to ask me what style I want. (Once in a blue moon if my schedule is tight, I may go elsewhere close to a shopping center, but I always regret it). Their washroom and facility are also very clean. Even during the height of Covid, their prices went up a few dollars, but I was still willing to pay because their service is so good. Still coming here after 18 years...

This place is AMAZING! I'm so glad they reopened the place! I came here to cut my kids' hair and honestly it is the best service. Definitely worth my 2 hour drive to arrive. The two guys are the very delicate and detailed with the haircuts they give, same goes for the ladies. I've been coming here for 12 years and it feels like a second family. No matter how much the price increases this place will ALWAYS be worth coming to. GET YOUR HAIRCUTS HERE!!!

Ever since they reopened, things have gone downhill. Hours open dropped. Quality of the haircut dropped. Attention to detail dropped.. Cost went up.

I've been coming to this place for 8 years. I found it because it was close to where i lived, inexpensive, and they did a great job. Now i live halfway across the city but still come here for my haircuts. They are fast, pleasant to chat with, and do a great job (and are still inexpensive). If you drive, they have the benefit of a parking lot.

I've been going here since 2002. Great hair cuts at very good prices. It's not going to be your Aveda salon, so get with it... Straight forward HC's with folks who have been doing it a long time. I've never been unhappy with any HC's for me or my kids. Good group of people!

If I could give this place no starts I would. My husband went there twice and both times the guy treated him very badly, as if he was bored by our presence. He spent less than 5 minutes (yes! 5 minutes) in his hair cut. We went the second time because we thought the man was just having a bad day in our first visit, but no... he is just disrespectful. In addition, the hair cut is not good at all. We will not be returning here. I do not recommend this place at all.
