Front desk people were nice. Waiting area was nice as well. When it came to the massage it was very disappointing. I had to ask her 4-5 times to apply more pressure and she never did. Usually after a massage I feel worn out and relaxed but I felt the exact same as when I went in. I also specified to target my neck and traps area. She spent only 10-15% of the time working this area. When she finally got to my neck/traps, it barely even felt like she was working it. I had to repeatedly ask for more pressure and it was just never good enough. It felt like I spent the 80 minutes just getting lotion applied to my body. I don’t feel any different after my appointment as if I never got one.

Love this spa! The relaxation room while waiting for treatments is exactly that and just what I need to take a break from work and my phone and breath with a cup of tea. I’ve been coming here for years and have always had fantastic treatments at a very competitive price.

My first time visiting for a massage and Lissa did an awesome job! She listened to my requests and concerns and took great care of all my pressure points. I highly recommend her and I can't wait to go back! Such a great experience and they have so much to offer!

I really debated on leaving a review but I was a bartender for a long time and would never think of writing in my own tip. I got a birthday package for my husband and it was his first time getting a massage (he told the masseuse this) I asked him how it was and he said the sauna and flotation tank were pointless and wouldn’t do those again but the massage was great! I was happy about that and figured I would receive an email saying “did you enjoy the service would you like to leave a tip” and was planning on tipping 20% already bc he said it was great. When I open my email I receive the receipt and they had given themselves a 20% tip. (I don’t mind bc ok whatever I was going to do that anyway) however the more I thought about it feels icky that they did that without asking first. We won’t be back bc of that. Unless it was part of my contract and I don’t remember it but in the emails I received it doesn’t say it’s included and online says recommended.

Meh. Great massage and facial, but I found the amenities and aesthetics to be seriously lacking. I would rather pay a *little* extra and go to the beautiful spa at The Joule where I can enjoy the INCLUDED sauna and vitality pool along with my services. I booked a package—massage, red light sauna, rhen a facial. The (previously discussed) plan was that I would get the massage, then head straight into the sauna, then have time to shower and unwind before my facial. However, when I finished my facial, the red light sauna wasn’t cleaned from the previous user although it appeared to have been vacant for awhile. I had to wait for one of the front desk attendants to clean the machine before beginning, and this gave me less time afterwards to relax before my facial. I also found it odd that the (1) shower is located in the bathroom with the only toilet. So if you need to shower and someone happens to be using the restroom, you have to wait for them to finish and vice versa. Not sure about others, but I do not enjoy taking a steamy shower in a small room where someone has just defecated. I was surprised by so many great reviews. If you are looking for a spa that is easy to get in and get out, this place might be for you. If you are looking for a spa where you can unwind, relax and enjoy yourself in a serene setting for a couple of hours, this is probably not for you. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning.

If I could give this place ZERO stars I would! The front desk receptionist are young and uneducated. No knowledge on how to present yourself as “PROFESSIONAL” - I made an appt only to be pushed off onto another masseuse. The massage was terrible ! It was like going to physical therapy after an injury! All she did was press on pressure points. The masseuse made me very uncomfortable talking about her personal life as if this was her therapy session. SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY DO NOT GO HERE !

Kahala was exceptional! She was professional, applied just the right amount of pressure, seemed to know how to target areas that needed the most attention and was very pleasant to talk to! I throughly enjoyed my experience! I know she just started there, but she deserves a raise! She is phenomenal! I feel like a new woman after my service with her!

My experience was really great from the beginning. The reception office was very kind and welcoming. The massage was absolutely amazing! I had the a deep tissue massage which really helped out on some of my soar spots. The atmosphere was relaxing and soothing. I would definitely come again.

My partner bought me a gift card for a massage in 2022 for a massage and I called to see if I could book a massage in 2024, but apparently they don't take gift cards older than 1 year. I don't mind the policy, but no where on their website, while purchasing the gift card, the email confirmation, or the gift card print out, does it state that the massage that my partner bought for me has an expiration of 1 year as to when you are able to use it. Kind of feels misleading if there is an enforced expiration date for a gift card if it isn't clearly shown anywhere other than calling to check.

The staff and service at Riviera Spa are always the best. 10/10 If they forget to ask, don’t forget to request a little eucalyptus so you don’t get a stuffy nose and/or a breast pillow; they keep them just under the tables. Both are complimentary.

Booked a 2 person massage with facial for a special treat when my bestie was visiting from out of town! I had never been here before. I was nervous to spend so much $$$, because for me, it was a bit out of my comfort zone, but LET ME TELL YOU... absolutely amazing experience! Shout out to Fran (gives amazing directions and has the most calming demeanor), Mai (gave me literally the best massage OF MY LIFE, i love you, sweet angel), Lauren (incredible facial, still debating if she is a fairy/witch with how amazing it was), Frankie/Georgie (reportedly ALSO best massage of her life?! and lovely facial given per my friend), and Amber (relaxing vibes, didn't pressure me to buy more than I wanted, you can't teach this type of vibe). Literally incredible, highly recommended. Thank you guys for being exactly what we needed for this trip! We only get to see each other twice a year and ya'll really made it special.

My first time doing a hydrafacial and Isabella made it the absolute BEST experience! She was super friendly, informative, and easy to talk to during the process. I felt comfortable asking a billion questions and Isabella gave great recs for managing my skin going forward. Our time together was one of the most relaxed I've ever felt in my life! I will definitley come back to Riviera Spa for more facial / massage offerings and, specifically, to see Isabella.

WONDERFUL! The moment I walked in I felt welcome! I was greeted with friendly smiles and offered a beverage to enjoy in the relaxation area. This is a simple, no frills spa with great pricing and five star services! My massage with Braychelle was fantastic- she listened to my needs and met them with extra focus on my feet and back knots. It was both therapeutic and relaxing. The background music is perfect and the sheets are high quality. I really appreciate this affordable AND luxurious experience. I was very impressed by the superb customer service start to finish and already looking forward to returning as soon as possible! *update- I am now a member and have never received anything less than five star experience!

We came to celebrate our anniversary and got a couple’s massage. The reception was welcoming but I found it odd that I had to ask for water or any drink for that matter. It would be nice to have a pitcher of water with lemon to get on my own. I had to ask if I wanted anything (water). However, the neck wrap was a nice touch. Both my husband and I enjoyed the massages, although I was disappointed because I specifically asked to work on my neck and shoulders but got a full body massage. It’s 2 days later and my right thigh is still hurting from the massage. Dulce was kind and professional though. I also didn’t smell any aromatherapy or anything soothing in the air that are normally in spas. This one being in the city, I expected some ambiance but it was just regular. Nothing was special or made it stand out as a spa. However, staff were kind and respectful which was great but I would not recommend this spa.

Me & 2 GF’s tried the Float Chamber at Riveria Spa. None of us had ever done this before. Read up on Rivera’s Website FAQ. So glad we did because someone has done a Keratin treatment, Swimcap’s were recommended. We were not sure how this was gonna work as we reserved the “Thrupple” size chamber. *Note- my opinion, no way to get full benefits of the Float experience because we were bumping into each other. We all noted, we were more worried about infringing on the space of another, so it took away from trying to totally immerse and relax. I was last to leave the float chamber so I was able to experience it solo. 100% better. I would only do this again if I can be solo. I did not see the individual float chambers so don’t know how the size varies. I will say my skin felt incredibly soft as the Empson salt did the job. This was my first visit to the Riviera spa and it feels like an interiors update is needed. The staff was amazingly helpful and friendly. Locker rooms definitely subpar. The relaxation room was just OK as it’s just off the side of the entrance. Everyone coming into the spa walks by the room and there’s no door to provide a quiet relaxation experience. Limited seating. *Another NOTE- (nothing to do with Riviera spa) The swim cap purchased on Amazon did NOT keep the water from soaking my hair. Kind of sick about putting my $350 Brazilian keratin treatment at risk.
