Cody is nothing short of a color magician making my grays disappear & making my wildest color dreams come true. From blonde, brunette, pink & now purple, his talents know no bounds! Everyone is nice & welcoming- even if you aren't their client. You can't go wrong with this team.

I booked a haircut with Cody and I'm so glad I did. I'm usually pretty picky with my haircuts because I have curly/frizzy hair and Cody did such a good job. Cannot recommend enough and will be coming back for my next cut :)

I've been to RK Salon a couple times now for bleach, full fashion color, and a cut. Cody is a fantastic stylist--talented, communicative, and super creative. The salon itself is nicely decorated, has great playlists, and everyone is nice and accommodating. So happy to have found RK Salon and Cody!

Very positive first-time experience at RK salon! I went in for a cut/color and saw Rachel as my stylist. She was able to give me advice on the length and cut (as I was attempting to even-out a previously bad haircut) and gave me many tips on how to improve hair health. I'm very pleased with how my hair turned out and will likely be returning when I need a touch up in a few months. Thank you!

I came here two weeks again and got a fabulous haircut by Tres. Great atmosphere, great vibes, and Tres was so lovely! I also thought the price was very reasonable for what I was needing. Definitely will be returning.

I have been seeing Parker every 5-6 weeks for years, because she is truly a color magician!! She is the ONLY person that I trust with my hair. She has transformed my hair color into the chic red that has become synonymous with my style. She has never once let me down, and I always leave feeling beautiful and more confident in my skin. She is magnificent, and I heartily recommend her services!!

One word: PARKER. Parker is absolutely amazing, she’s been doing my hair for years and I’m so happy I followed her to this cute salon. Parker is amazingly talented when it comes to color, she’s the only person I trust to give me exactly what I want and keep my hair healthy. If you’re looking for a new colorist I highly recommend seeing Parker!

Parker is amazing!!! Book with her for your color! She’s so professional and made me feel so reassured. She explained what she was doing and why for each step and made me feel so relaxed. She’s also so funny and personable and made the experience so fun. This is definitely my go to spot now for my hair.

Been going to RK for 4 years now and Cody has never missed a beat! There is a great selection of products (Amika, WOW, Olaplex, etc), and services (foilyage, balayage, highlights, color, etc) and a great atmosphere. I was just in to get a full balayage and haircut and left feeling and looking amazing. RK is a neighborhood staple in uptown and the only salon I'll go to for my hair!

UPDATE: I received a text from the studio shortly after posting my review. They apologized for the cut and did everything they could to make it right, including Cody squeezing me in to take a look and fix any mistakes. I really appreciate the effort they made to make me feel better! I’m sad I still have to be patient and let it grow, however, I feel more confident after their help. I received a haircut that has left me in tears… I didn’t feel heard and I felt pressured into a style that was not what I wanted, or just confused because she showed me so many photos and they were all inconsistent with each other. I spent $80 plus tip on a cut that was uneven, choppy, and did not maintain the length of my original style. Feeling flowy and feminine is huge for me and I left feeling very dysphoric. Also, she burnt my head with a curling iron… It’s a cute shop and I walked by many times hoping to get a chance to walk in some day. I’m incredibly sad by my experience and embarrassed to go outside without a hat on 😞

Got a blowout with Rachel, she did an awesome job! I came in with flat hair recently washed and she was still able to get my hair to curl and stay put. Had to have my hair nice for a photoshoot later in the day, so I’m very glad I came to RK salon. Thank you so much!

Kelsey did an incredible job on my hair. I came in with a bad haircut (not from RK) and Kelsey fixed it all up!!! She listened to what I was asking for, took her time to make sure it looked great, and checked in with me too to make sure I liked it as well. I will definitely be back!! ☺️

Kelsey is the best! I have a lot of (wavy) hair and Kelsey knows how to take off any weight and shape it nicely. She’s also great with highlights. I’m very particular about not wanting any golden/warm tones and she gets my ashy/silver requests just right. I always leave this salon happy.

Cody did a fantastic job getting exactly what I wanted done! I went in for a partial high light just looking for more brightness overall and he hit the nail on the head! My hair looks so healthy and pretty :) Definitely book here!

I absolutely love this salon! Cody has been my hairstylist for over two years and he never disappoints. He listens to what I want and is very attentive to detail. The environment is relaxing but upbeat. I haven't worked with other stylists but they are all welcoming and kind. I highly recommend!

I am really picky about getting my hair cut because I have curly hair. Cody is amazing and for the last few years we came up with a game plan to grow my hair longer and he has taught me how to keep it healthy. I have never had someone ever do that and my hair is the healthiest it has ever been due to Cody at RK Salon. I am moving soon out of state and debating about coming back for visits just to get hair cuts!!! #curlyhairsalon

I just moved here a year ago and this salon has been my go-to. Kelsey never misses with my haircuts and every time I leave happy with how it turns out. I went in last time feeling nervous about my hair color appointment, but Kelsey was wonderful and made me feel confident and excited for my new color (pink and orange btw!!). The staff is very friendly and welcoming. I've already recommended some friends and coworkers to go check out the salon. Love the people here!

I just started going to Rachel after moving from NYC and had been a loyal Bumble salon girl for almost 12+ years so I was SUPER nervous to try someone new... welp, glad I took the leap!! My hair looked awesome and was the perfect amount cut off to keep it fresh, healthy and still long enough to toss in a pony for workouts!! I'll be back soon 💕
