I had my first ever hair cut in the USA and it was really good. They have a very good staff and I got an appointment on the same day. The receptionist is really kind and my hairstylist Courtney did an amazing job. She even gave me a rejuvenating hair wash before the hair cut and was extremely kind. They made me feel comfortable and are really polite. Would definitely recommend this place , plus it’s literally so convenient to go after work as the location is perfect!

The salon is nice and Pauline does a great job on a haircut if she shows up. Unfortunately I’ve been kept waiting 15 minutes for an 8 am appointment 3 times. She hadn’t even arrived yet when I walked out this time. So disrespectful to your clients. Make sure you get an appointment later in the day.

I'm so glad to have found Cesar at RL. First, everyone working there was really nice and friendly. Cesar absolutely did a fantastic job listening, quickly understood and delivered what I asked for. He advices and suggested products/services that I truly need for my hair, without being pushy-- which I really appreciate! I had a haircut and treatment, completed with one of the most beautiful blowout I've had, I was asked several times by strangers on the street who my hairstylist was! Thank you, Cesar!!!!

This place is Amazing, I wish I could give more than 5 stars. I tried to box dye my hair over the weekend and quickly realized I had made a terrible mistake, it was a bleach blonde orange color. I called the salon and talked to Cesar and he was able to get bring my hair back to its natural color and even better than before, not to mention how friendly everyone was! I had a great experience and could not recommend the salon more! THANK YOU ROBERT LEONARD SALON TEAM AND HUGE THANKS TO CESAR!!!

Amazing. The whole place, staff & my new stylist Diny. It’s very professional, upbeat, relaxing and classy. I can’t wait to try the products. Thank You sincerely for an amazing consultation about hair extensions, individualized services, hair repair first. I’ve been back three times for haircut rescue, root color, then foils; I just adore the whole experience, from making the appointments with Maggie to getting a head massage & an updated look. You get the quality you pay for here!

Cannot say enough good things about Robert Leonard Salon. The entire team is professional, accommodating, and kind. Larisa & Kendra are particularly incredible. Both are extremely knowledgeable, communicate clearly, and can make your vision come to life. Know that you will be in great hands if you’re lucky enough to work with either one of them!

It’s really perfection at this salon. I’ve been to 10+ salons in the Washington area. Stressed and not able to find the perfect stylist until I came here. I was paired with Cesar Caro and I when to say it was amazing. Cesar listened to all of my concerns about my current hair and was able to give me what I truly desired deep down. Cesar’s Salon is also very brightly lit so you can see the results in the best lighting. His skills and talent is unmatched and after searching I have finally found my life long stylist. Very easy to find this location and also easy parking. It’s also not one of those small seattle salons where you feel super cluster phobic there is so much room to breath which I love. The salon is decorated beautifully with plants! :)

Save yourselves from this salon of horrors! This salon is the most unreliable salon you could ever find! I've had my appointment rescheduled by the salon 3 times over a period of literally 1month - they keep pushing the appointment for whatever reason (agreed that some times the reason could be logical, but 3 times??) and/ or call at the last minute to change the stylist. Extremely unprofessional for a salon this big! The front-desk person that makes the calls isn't even polite enough to understand a client's frustration - instead gives you shade for being annoyed about an appointment being changed under 2hours before the appointment time! Their terms state that appointments cannot be cancelled last minute, yet they themselves make changes/ cancel appointments so close to the appointment time. The salon is beautiful and the stylists are great - but they are MISERABLE with their scheduling and management of appointments. They do not respect their client's time - very disappointing!

Grande dame. Since inception. Robert Leonard sold to employees instead of corporation. Full stop enough said. Stylists are so excellent, have my regular haircut and Brazilian blowout here. Holiday styling as well. Delighted. So flexible with hectic scheduling requirements, great location, usually parking in front on weekends. They even welcome me when I come in from Carkeek with sticks in my hair. Delightful.

Cesar will make you leave the salon with the *wow* feeling you always wanted. His Caro hair treatment transformed my hair into a smooth, shiny wave that was just as amazing in-person as others looked online. He also did a no-bleach balayage on my virgin, dark, curly hair that offered new dimension to my hair. I love the natural but shimmering appearance. It was exactly what I wanted. Finally, Cesar is both patient and efficient with his approach, which leads to great results in a reasonable frame of time. His great personality makes the time fly by! Would highly recommend him for your next hair transformation.

Walking into Robert Leonard Salon, the first thing that struck me was how beautiful the facilities are. It has huge floor to ceiling windows that let so much natural light, plus there are tons of plants. As for the quality of their service, it exceeded my expectations, which were already high given the aesthetic. Cesar was my stylist for a deep conditioning treatment. He is exceptionally talented, not to mention, he is so kind and welcoming. He recently developed an exquisite line of hair care products. I purchased the hair mask and honestly the quality was for superior to any I’ve tried previously…(which is saying something as I’ve tried every brand at Sephora lol). I highly recommend making an appointment here if you’re new in town or otherwise in the market for top tier hair care.

I generally have had very good experiences at this salon. All the stylists are skilled and pleasant to work with. However, recently I’ve encountered issues with how they schedule appointments. Despite making an appointment, I was made to wait for 20-30 minutes. What is the point of scheduling an appointment if it can’t be honored? A 5-10 minute delay is understandable, but 20-30 minutes is excessive. Everyone is busy, and our time should be respected.

Somebody told me about a new product in this place and I went for it; Cesar Caro hair treatment for hair is amazing! I’ve tried the product and has exceeded my expectations, leaving my hair looking and feeling fantastic. The quality is evident in every use. Highly recommend for anyone looking to elevate their hair care routine, plus the environment of this place and the attention for each type of hair is amazing!!!

Update: SO HAPPY with the result of my hair color transformation! Siempre agradecida! I love it so much and have never seen my hair more healthier as it is now with Cesar Caro hair products. I am in love with my hair color and am so glad I did my color correction with Cesar and Alinne. The best of the best! 👏😍 —————— Increíble! Cesar is so amazing! A couple of weeks ago, I learned about Cesar and his work over Instagram and saw all of the beautiful work he had done with his clients and their hair. After seeing the shininess, sillkiness, and repair that his products from his own line, Cesar Caro has done to different hair types from his clients, I had to go get my hair done with Cesar! Coming in to the salon for the very first time, I was instantly greeted kindly and the whole experience was so much fun and amazing. It is one of the best salons that I have ever walked in! Cesar and his incredibly kind assistant, Alinne were so excited to meet me and we had a great time discussing plans for my hair during my hair consultation. Last week, I got my first hair treatment done with Cesar and Alinne. My hair completely transformed! It is truly magical what his products are able to do. I definitely recommend and it makes your hair so healthy, beautiful, and strong! I also got my haircut done with Cesar and couldn’t be more happier with the result. I’m so excited to get my hair colored this upcoming Saturday with Cesar and will definitely be coming in for future hair treatments because his products are absolutely amazing! EDIT: I wanted to update this review as I was reached out by the manager, Morgan. She was very apologetic about my experience and asked me back to make things right so I can get the haircut I originally had wanted. I went in and saw Cara who was super nice! She made sure to listen to my needs and what my daily hair routines were. When I showed her a picture of the cut I wanted, she took the time to ask me questions to ensure we were on the same page. I ended up leaving the salon with a cut I had wanted originally and that is easy for me to maintain. Thank you, Cara! And thank you Morgan for your professionalism. PAST REVIEW: I had to take a few days to digest my experience at this salon. This was my very first time going here and I brought my mother along as an early birthday present for her. We both booked haircuts with Cesar. I went first and even though I had only booked a haircut, I had an all over color pushed on me. I was a little confused why that was being sold to me so hard but I was fine changing up my color and agreed. For my haircut, I showed him a picture of a short wavy bob with layers as I wanted to be able to style my hair wavy easily as my hair has a natural wave to it. He said he would do something similar. I ended up with a really pretty color job, that I hadn't initially planned for, and a nice haircut - but not the haircut style I wanted. It was more just a straight blunt cut bob. He also styled my hair stick straight even though I wanted it wavy. I have been conflicted with this as it is a nice cut and color BUT this was not what I came in for and this was also my VERY FIRST visit at this salon. To top it off, my mother, who I thought was being seen while I was over at the sink having my color processed, was still sitting in the waiting area. He ended up doing my cut and color for almost 2 hours and when he brought me over to reveal my new look to my mom, he said it was nice meeting you all and left lol. He then came back awkwardly and said to my mom "Oh! You're my client!" So he had forgot. By that point he was behind and my mom's appointment was very rushed. He also did a similar thing with my mother's haircut suggestion where she showed him what she wanted but he just kind of did his own thing in the end. In the end...we both left looking cute but neither of us got what we wanted and it was a very very strange first experience at this salon. It kind of felt very commercial like their goal is just all on sales. Cesar was very nice and I can tell he is talented, I just wish there was more attention put toward what the client is asking for instead of just doing what they wanted regardless of what you said. The services are not cheap and to end up leaving with something completely different than what you had in mind is disappointing. Unfortunately I think our search for a salon is still ongoing.

I came in with faded copper hair wanting to go a more burgundy almost purple color and it came out amazing!! Cesar and Aline exceeded my expectations and I am so glad I came to Robert Leonard. They took their time and are so nice! Not only does my hair look amazing but the Caro hair serum made my hair extremely soft and shiny! Definitely will be coming back and recommending them and this serum to everyone I know!! From walk in to walking out, my experience here was a 10/10!

I love my hair and my new stylist. Christopher is so cool and fun and funny as well as smart and talented. I've seen him twice now both experiences were excellent. My hair has never looked as good as it does now I recommend this salon and also him to anyone wanting to improve or update their look. Very knowledgeable staff too.

I was booked with my daughter to get a haircut for my birthday. She also got a cut and was talked into a glaze. She had not come for and was told it would be discounted. Her hair looks great, but not the style she asked for. The stylist forgot I had an appointment - after I sat over 2 hours waiting for my daughter, watching him goof off with other people - he says, oh are you my client? I said yes it’s for my birthday. I showed him the cut I wanted and was told he would do something similar. Then I got a shampoo and taken back for my cut - no further discussion about the cut or another look at the picture. He just started hacking away talking merrily along. I felt so disregarded. I’m mad at myself for not speaking up. I was worked on maybe 15 minutes. No real apology for forgetting about me. Then to top it off as I was being done, my daughter was approached and told she was under charged. I had hairstyling, shampoo, cut the works. My daughter had the same with a color. The stylist was cheerful, but I felt he came on like a whirlwind and didn’t care if I was truly happy. With my daughter, the style she went for was not what she wanted either and a color was pushed on her while she was being told to buy tons of pricey products. This was to be a fun mother/daughter birthday thing. The receptionists were even made aware at the start it was the 2 of us. No apologies and then when I was noticed I felt - well it didn’t feel good and far from pampered. I never leave negative reviews, but this was hurtful. Especially since we booked someone who is spoken well of in reviews. I doubt we will be back or recommend. Worst gift ever as we age haircuts can make us look younger. I went from hair halfway down my back to hair so short I can’t put it around an inch diameter curling iron. Just really depressing as to why someone would do this to someone when they know it’s for a bday. The cut I wanted was not quite shoulder length. This cut aged me. There won’t be enough for another cut for months until it grows out. Hair has a big effect on people - everyone and haircut should be given the same time and consideration. Just really down because of this.

This is my second time getting a hair cut at Robert Leonard. Lili has been my stylist and both times have been AMAZING! I'm so happy with my cut! I decided to get bangs this time and was a bit nervous because I've had a few not so great bang cuts in the past. Lili did such an amazing job though. It's only been a few hours since my cut and I've already gotten so many compliments! Would 100% recommend this place and Lili!

The team of Caesar and Ellie could not have been better. The shampoo had me so relaxed I almost fell asleep during the treatment. The calming music paired with a 5 minute leave in conditioner was such almost as much of a pleasure as Ellie. And Caesar was no different. I almost forgot I was there for an hour and a half because of his infectious energy and his keen understanding of customer service as a stylist. I will be coming back again without a doubt.

I had a cut and bleach/tone done by both Becca and Craig! I have fine straight Asian hair so I was super anxious on how a super short blonde pixie would look on me ... But they both did such an amazing job! Absolutely love everything about my new hair, love the atmosphere of their salon, and the overall experience was wonderful! I highly recommend them!! 🥰👍

I've gotten my hair done twice now by Cesar and I've had an amazing experience both times! Cesar took me from grown-out blonde balayage to red, and then to auburn. Both colors turned out beautifully and he has definitely won me over as my new hairstylist. I look forward to seeing him and his awesome assistant, Aline, every 6 weeks!
