Back in "1992" I was in a program in high school that was helping me break out of my shyness. Margaret Marquez was helping me with this... little did I know Roberto would be a crucial part of this journey in my life.... I was brought to his salon.. Roberto is the kindest man I have ever met. When I talked I'd talk with my head down he helped me to talk with my head held high.. he told me about how he met his wife and how she helped him. Before me and Margaret left the salon Roberto invited us to the most elegant Christmas party at the whool wearhouse to help me get over my shyness. I'll never forget how this one woman sang it was like hearing an angel sing from the heavens above.. I got to meet so many interesting and good hearted people like Roberto this set the motion n paved the way for me to be 💯 with myself and to others. I'll never forget Roberto and the impact he had n still has on my life thank you so so much your the best ever. 🙏🤍🌻

My experience at Roberto’s salon was “one of a kind” and very heart warming. I felt at ease as soon as I walked in the door. Roberto is a kind man and takes the time to get to know the “real” you. He has very good advice on how to take care of your hair and offers products specific to the condition of your hair. Roberto gave me a beautiful haircut and now my hair looks so healthy. Beautiful perm, however they were very unfriendly and crass when I said I was surprised by the hike in price of the perm (went from $150 to $250).

I came into Roberto's salon with worries about my thinning hair. As we spoke he began to educate me on what I can do to help my hair and scalp to become healthier. I never let people cut my hair, nor do I venture to hairstylists often simply because I know very well that some people just can't capture what I want. But oh my how masterful these people are with what they do. Tony has an eye for detail and Roberto has a very transparent heart🖤 If you ever get the chance to check this place out, do it.

Roberto's Le Salon is the place you want to go if you like looking great and by great, I mean freaking fantastic!! I feel like a supermodel every time I leave and even get compliments for strangers on the street!!! And it's not just me. I see people leave his chair glowing with confidence and looking like a million bucks; complete transformations. Roberto is a Master at his craft and I've been going to him for over 20 years and have never looked back. I've also moved several times across the country and still fly back to have him do my hair and I'm not the only client doing this. Not kidding, he's.that.good. The amazing thing is that it doesn't stop there. His staff is stellar and Tony is incredible with color and knows his stuff, possesses a sharp eye for detail, and can give you an incredible updo or other style. Whether you're looking for an incredible cut, color, or anything in between, you must check this place out. They really are top-notch. I highly recommend Robert's Le Salon to everyone and anyone who is looking for a great hair experience.

Roberto's Le salon is FANTASTIC! My hair was a mess of a grown out Mohawk and bad dye job. I made an appointment and was very hesitant to think anyone could work with and help my mess. Oh my goodness! Was I wrong! I have a beautiful marcelle wave of a perm, very 1920s just like I'm in love with, my hair feels healthier than ever, Tony and Roberto were absolutely amazing and very passionate about what they do. I will never go to another salon as long as I live! I cannot believe how amazing my hair looks! Please don't go to Ulta, or any of these other purposed high end salons, I've been to all of them and now I've found what a real high end salons actually is! And it's at Roberto's Le salon on San Mateo!

Roberto is a master stylist and both he and Tony made me feel welcomed immediately. Tony did an amazing job on my color and Roberto gave me the best haircut and style I've seriously ever had. Absolutely lovely salon! Evey member of the staff, the owner Roberto and his wife were wonderful people. Tony, the stylist who cut my hair is incredibly thoughtful and talented, he really takes the time to get it right. Couldn't recommend this salon enough.

I had the Keratin treatment done today and love it! My hair is thin, receding and I needed help. Roberto took his time to discuss my hair problems and gave it a great cut-now I love it. He is an artist and so friendly and attentive. I will never let anyone but Roberto ever touch my hair! Ten Stars!

I read several reviews about Roberto’s salon and since they were all over the moon excited I made an appointment. I was looking for a good haircut and color. I got a so much more. It was like spending time in a healing center. I had such a wonderful time and my hair has the best cut in years! The color is glowing with a spark. This was a heart warming and transformative experience! A real treat! Thank you to the whole team!

I wish I could give more than 5 stars because that’s what is deserved. This was more than a haircut, it was a haircut, counseling and spiritual session. Roberto has a true gift of intuition and was so easy to open up to. I feel like he fixed my hair and my life in just an hour. He took his time and asked a lot of questions, most importantly though he listened! I had gotten my haircut yesterday elsewhere (I won’t rat them out) and they completely butchered my long blonde hair I had been growing for years. Roberto was able to squeeze in an appointment for me last minute and work his magic! He was able to keep my hair as long as possible while fixing the mess made at the other salon. I am so grateful for my new friend and will be back next time I’m in the area! The whole crew is amazing, shout-outs to Linda for great a conversation and Roberta for an excellent shampoo. I will certainly miss you guys but it’s just until I see you later. Thank you for everything!!!!

Roberto and his entire staff is second to none. Roberto is gifted and is life changing. A true keeper! My daughter and I were truly blessed to be given the opportunity to be led to such an experience. There are no words of how he is gifted in his intuitiveness to touch such lives of which no other has. Genuine, empathetic, dedicated. The real deal. Roberto has been cutting my hair for 20 years now! He's the only person I will let cut my hair and he's amazing!! The most recent time I went to see him all I said was "I want something fun!" and he made it happen. He's truly an artist and a blessing in my life!!

This man and his entire staff are truly skilled and a treasure to know. I am definitely super duper proud of my haircut. I was so scared of having it cut. I have short hair and that’s always difficult to get a great look. But the owner himself took me and did my cut! So very pleased.

Tony did my hair for my wedding and did a fantastic job! He helped me find the look I wanted a couple of weeks before after my haircut and then had me in and out first thing in the morning! I couldn’t have been happier! Would happily recommend him to anyone!

I got the smoothie treatment and eye brow wax by Tony. I literally didn’t look like the same person when I left. It was one of those transformation scenes for a movie. I can feel how much more healthy my hair is and the color looks great. Thank you Tony for giving me a look that makes me feel more confident.
