After 10 years of growing my hair out, I finally made my way to a salon for the first time. Kristen did such a beautiful job treating my hair and styling it in twists. 10/10 :))) Beautiful space too

I got a wash, silk press, and trim by Kristen. The press lasted two weeks and still looked good! I could have gone longer if my scalp would have allowed it. She did a great job with not only the silk press but trimming my hair. I have been getting curly cuts for close to a decade but decided I wanted to try getting trims with my hair straight - my hair looked good both straight and when I went back to curly. Very happy with all the results and will continue to come here for my hair care.

My stylist was Geraline. She was nice, but I would not reccomend her.I needed my side burns shaved and she didn't know how to do that. I had to do them myself.

Beautiful salon and a welcoming ambiance. I love the educational aspect of the appointment. Not many hairstylist take out time to educate their clients so this was nice. Kristen was patient and gentle with my hair. I’m so satisfied with the experience.

Dominic is a skilled stylist who really knows his stuff! He gave me a balayage and haircut that left me feeling like a million bucks. The coloring is really beautiful and the haircut is perfect. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a talented stylist!

For all of those curly/ethnic girls, there is no reason to search any longer for a good hair place because you have found it! I grew up in the cosmetology world and was able to try every professional product, and to say the least nothing made my hair manageable. I’ve always hated my hair and was most insecure about my hair because of this. As many of you know, there is not a lot of successful places targeting curly/ethnic hair. The even harder part is finding someone who is educated and can reciprocate that back to you so you have a better understanding. I have seen both Kristen and Danielle and can 100% say I am so sad that I moved away because this is the most progress I’ve ever made with my hair. It grows faster, it is super healthy, and it is something I am finally proud of rather than embarrassed of. Just for reference, I am half white and half black, but definitely have more ethnic hair. I was absolutely BLOWN AWAY with the way RHS has helped me. Don’t wait, get an appointment and I promise they do not disappoint! Who doesn’t love hair compliments everywhere you go 💁🏽‍♀️ (Don’t mind the pictures I posted, they were the best ones I had outlining what my hair looks like)

I just had my first smoothing treatment, with Danielle. Leaf and Flower 3 in 1 Molecular- My hair looks and feels amazing ! My hair is blonde and I am a coily natural. This treatment helps tame the frizz, without chemicals.

I've worked with each stylist - Danielle, Dom, and Kristen - and each have provided amazing customer service, conversation, and top-notch education on how to truly care for my hair. The new salon is beautiful, and is a testament to the hard work, determination, and God-given talent of it's owner and her team. This review is long overdue. I got my first haircut with Danielle last fall/right before winter, which is usually a very trying time for my very tight and kinky curls. I was so so in love with my hair cut !!!!!! She did a fabulous job with the shape and product recommendation. With the routine she prescribed I survived the winter with super soft and hydrated curls. The shape was perfect and oddly, my hair looked longer after the cut probably because it was so much healthier. Fast forward to now, I fell behind on getting it cut when I probably should have and was in a panic. I went for a follow up/post winter cut today, and it’s even better than before !!! She knew exactly what my hair needed and I am forever grateful. Definitely looking forward to keeping up with more frequent appointments. I love that she’s very knowledgeable and cares a lot about her clients specific needs and hair goals. Can’t recommend enough :) the other stylists in the salon are also super kind too. Fabulous salon environment with lovely decor and music.

Today was my third time sitting in Danielle’s chair and it’s always a joy. She educates me on my hair, I purchase the products she use and my hair always feels and looks good! My next visit I’m going for color and a flat twist style.

I had the best experience at Rooted Hair Studio yesterday 6.7/22. Danielle, the owner, took such good care of me from the moment I arrived 30 mins early(LOL). We discussed my hair woes and came up with a plan to tackle my unruly silver strands. Each step of the way Danielle explained the process and reasoning behind the products she chose to use on my hair. We created an entire before and after video that you can see on her Instagram reels. I am looking forward to scheduling my next appointment in August to keep my locks looking lovely! I am this studio's newest biggest fan!

I've seen both Kristen and Danielle for their specialty services. Everyone is professional and punctual which is very refreshing for a salon. I would highly recommend them both Kristen has done both natural hair styles and extensions and they always look amazing with lots of compliments. Danielle did a curly cut and wash and go, my hair never looked that good.

My first visit at Rooted Hair Studio was fantastic! It’s such a relaxing atmosphere. The decor fits Danielle’s vibrant and bubbly personality! This place is so cute and has great vibes. I love the murals and decor and stations. Everything is just so inviting and colorful. I really feel comfortable and at home in the studio. Love that there’s parking, music playing, refreshments and all of my product needs! I got my hair done by the owner, Dee, who is the best of the best. I am so happy to have followed her to Rooted. She does more than my hair in the one sitting, she also educates you on how to take care of your hair in between visits. I fully trust her with my curls and am so happy to have found her. My hair has seen so much progress since our first visit. Thanks for always taking your time and being attentive to my unique needs and goals.
