I had the pleasure of having Noushin as my hairstylist, and let me just say – she is the absolute BEST! From start to finish, she did an amazing job. Before beginning, Noushin took the time to consult with me about the style I was looking for, patiently listening to my preferences and offering some great suggestions. Once we agreed on the final look, she proceeded with the haircut, making sure to be extra cautious about the length. I have long hair, and she was meticulous in maintaining the length while still giving me the perfect cut I was hoping for. On top of that, I booked the appointment at the last minute, and the team at Roots Hair Salon was incredibly accommodating. They managed to fit me in within 2 hours, which I truly appreciated. Thank you so much, Noushin and Roots Hair Salon, for such an excellent experience. I’ll definitely be back!

I had a hair cut and blow dry first time I tried this place and the hair stylist was very good. 2nd time I went to do root color and the other lady messed up my hair she color much more than the roots where I had highlights with a dark color that I lost my highlights. Then she did the blow dry and it was not good at all. I was very disappointed I hate my hair color now as it’s much darker than my original color and I loathe my highlights

I have been here twice and have loved both haircuts with Miriam. She got it right both times and understands how to work with thick, heavy hair. Her pricing was very reasonable ($60 for haircut with long hair) given the quality of her services. I wish I had discovered her salon sooner!

I won't not recommend people to go to this place because I had a very bad experience with the ladies over there. They always don't listen to their customers. They just do what they want.

Nadia was my stylist. She was knowledgeable, warm and efficient. I showed her a reference pic and she cut it exactly like I wanted it (right length, layers etc). No fuss, simple and straightforward job. She has my highest recommendation!

I’m in tears right now. I have pretty thick wavy hair and wanted my layers done short in a way that rounded out the shape of my head. I was very clear and provided pictures. The stylist said I shouldn’t do short layers and couldn’t describe why. I told her no, that’s what I want, I want my hair to be nice and big. I even told her where to cut the bangs and she said we should start lower, which I thought was fine because that’s what my stylist in OC does. Once she started blowdrying and styling my hair I just knew it wasn’t what I showed her. She begged me to come in earlier for my appointment time and I rushed to get there so there was a client who was waiting behind me. I knew that to get the haircut I wanted I would have to make her start all over again based on how long she cut the layers. The styling was beautiful, and I do believe they are very talented. But if you want something that’s outside of a very normal layering job I would definitely go somewhere else. Now that my hair is unstyled and back to its normal curly shape it doesn’t even look that much different than what I had before I went in. It just was not worth paying almost 200 dollars (I also got a dye job, and requested a demi permanent black and they acted like they had never heard of demi perm dye). I would give this place a 1 star review but really these women are talented, they just don’t listen to what you want.

This Review is for Noushin & the Roots Salon. I haven’t cut my hair in over a year because of the anxiety of someone messing up my hair. I’ve had a lot of bad experiences in the past getting my hair cut from other places. As soon as I walked into the Salon I could tell it was going to be a wonderful experience! The salon is beautiful and kept cool ( it was a hot day) as soon as me and my mother went in we were greeted like family. They offer water or tea and they had some snacks. They were able to make a same day appointment for me on a Saturday last minute which was very kind of them. Noushin (who cut my hair) was beautiful and you can tell she is up to date on the latest hair styles! She did a consultation with me before she began and even though she said she couldn’t do exactly that hair cut (I have thinner hair the picture I brought was a girl with a lot of short layers and thick hair) she ended up cutting my hair not only how I wanted it BUT made it look better then the picture!! I am so happy I found my permanent hair dresser and new salon!! She even took extra time to style my hair she is worth every penny and she made my experience so good I’m soooo grateful for her! Roots Salon is amazing!! Everyone I saw leave looked like a million bucks! These stylist definitely know what they are doing and I’ll continue to recommend to all of my friends and family!! Thank you Noushin and Roots salon!!!

I got my hair highlighted by Sinan and I’m super pleased with the outcome. The previous hairdresser I used, managed to make my hair a orange blonde and I hated it . Sinan redone it and made it into a beautiful ash, beautiful suited for my skin tone . On top of his talent his also super nice and sweet . I recommend him to anyone.

I have been a patron here since the beginning of 2019 & continue to do so because all of the staff are super nice & professional! My stylist is Solmaz & I have gone to her for my hair but also nanoblading for my brows. She's incredible with my hair! I mostly have her do root touch ups & balayage because I have an insane amount of white hair that need constant care. I am the happiest with my most recent color & cut! I definitely recommend this salon! I feel relaxed whenever I come here.

I have very curly hair and Noushin was able to make my hair gorgeous and straight! My hair feels so soft and is very healthy now. She is amazing at working with curly hair. I have type 3c/4a thick hair and she was able to handle it so well! Amazing job, and would definitely recommend

I love roots hair salon! Maryam is amazing and she always makes my hair look exactly how I want it. I am very picky and my hair is very hard to work with because of high volume and lots of frizz but maryam gives me amazing results every time. I got highlights for the first time in 2020 with maryam and I was very scared because my hair burns and damages very easily but maryam gave me amazing looking highlights and my hair was still very healthy. I’ve been getting my hair done here since then and I love their work.

I was freaking out about my hair two weeks before my wedding because my roots had grown out and the blonde was way too stark against my naturally dirty blonde/ashy hair. Solmaz and Maryam squeezed me in for my first visit ever to them and did miracles! So grateful for them. Update: my hair color from my wedding! So much better and natural.
