Ok….so I don’t usually leave reviews but WOW!!!! Chloe did such an awesome job on my haircut! She was very attentive to what I really wanted and this is the best haircut I have ever had 🤗 I have gotten so many compliments also!! Thank you so much Chloe ❤️

I honestly wish I could give this place 0 stars, the lack of professional and customer service is absolutely insane and unreal. Extremely rude and quick to catch an attitude. I don’t understand how you’re trying to run a business when you don’t accept criticism and accept when you’re in the wrong, as well as when your stylist is in the wrong. Also extremely expensive and VERY overpriced for the most simplest thing a stylist can do and not enough explanation about the pricing policy at ALL. I don’t recommend coming here. The reply says a lot..

The customer service here is very questionable. The lack of clarification when booking is also very frustrating and unprofessional. I paid quite a bit for a haircut that was “rushed” as said by Chloe (I tipped and then she decided to lecture me after my payment went through). I paid quite a bit for a haircut that was maybe 40 minutes long because it was rushed. I booked a short hair-pixie haircut…and was told that my hair was “long”. My hair didn’t even touch my shoulders. I was lectured at the end of my appointment because their system was not picking up the many other appointments I made here. And to be clear, I was lectured by Chloe. When I went in to express my frustration, I was told that their words used on the booking site were “blanket statements”. Chloe is extremely unprofessional, she acts out of pettiness and irritation. The manager was honestly doing what she could with the situation she was handed. I wouldn’t have left a review if I was the only one who felt like this about Chloe, but I’m not.

Zuhey did an excellent job on my daughter's curly hair! She talked her through the styling step by step, and my kid looked like a rock star when we left! Definitely will return!

So happy to have found this place! If you have curly hair - you have to come here! Amazing service, felt comfortable and clean. It was so nice getting a wash, with a scalp massage (!!) And then even getting some advice/tips on styling and defusing in between cuts. Chloe was truly amazing and so kind!!

I thought I knew how to style my curly hair having had to figure it out for myself but I learned a lot about styling from Chloe! I have gotten my hair cut about four times and have had a great hair cut each time that lasts about 6 months.

This is the BEST salon I have ever been to. Ever since I was a child I have struggled to find a stylist that truly understood my hair. My typical salon experience always ended with me more displeased than when I walked in. BUT this time I walked out so incredibly happy. I thought I was a lost cause with all my varying textures of hair. But Samantha did her magic and made my hair so unified, curly and beautiful. Thank you all so much! I will be returning.

Best haircut I've ever gotten! These people really know what they're doing. I booked with Zuhey and she did an amazing job. She got right down to business and had great advice on how to style my hair. The interior of the business was also very cute. It's definitely expensive, but if you have curly hair, you deserve to get it cut by someone who knows how to treat it. I will definitely be going again.

Took my daughter for her first curly cut and it was the best experience. Sara was great. It was a positive and educational experience and seeing my daughter light up and the kindness Sara extended towards us was worth it!

Two thumbs up for Roots Salon and Zuhey. 1st visit yesterday and I'm thrilled with my curly hai! Zuhey gave me a hair cut and highlight and taught me a lot more than I knew how to style my curly hair. She's "freed" up my curls to have more body and shape than ever! And the highlights are super natural -- so natural that my hair looks like it did when I was young before it turned darker. Immediately booked again with Zuhey who also cut my hubby's hair for an excellent short cut (he told me later that she is a Master Barber so I'm not surprised that he's turned out excellent as well!). I was also pleased that when I booked online for yesterday I was able to put book both of us at the same time. And when I paid at the end I was able to just have them book me and him again together.

Writing this two months after going to Roots, but this was the best hair cut I’ve ever gotten!! I’ve worn my hair curly for years, but it’s never looked as good as it does now. Chloe did a phenomenal job and I’m so so happy with it :))

Chloe did my daughters hair and she did an amazing job. However, there was another stylist with purple hair that was very disrespectful/inappropriate. He had very poor language and kept talking about how he didn't like kids. My daughter loved her hair but said she was creeped out by the other stylist. Definitely not a kid friendly place.

This was my second visit with Daniella. I felt so bad “cheating” on my regular stylist. Not anymore. If you have curly hair, this is worth every penny!! I had no idea that my hair could look this good or be this easy to style or last so many days!!! You will not be disappointed!

I have FINALLY found a salon in Albuquerque that HONESTLY specialize in curly and coily hair!!🙏🏽💖 Daniella was very professional and patient with me. She explained to me what I wanted on this visit couldn’t be achieved without damage but we could work towards it. I have to admit that I was skeptical but trusted in her years of experience with curly/coily/textured hair and I was over the moon pleased with the results of my color & highlights! If you are seeking a salon that truly understands curly hair -it’s this salon! She even introduced me to products that just defined my curls and made then pop!

Bradley is great. He takes his time to explain the best ways to care for my fine, curly hair. He is, by far, the best hairstylist I have ever seen. If you want healthy, beautiful curls go to Roots Salon.

I was approached by the owner of the salon asking if I would be interested in being a model for their services. They explained they would take photos and pictures during the process before and after of my hair. I've been wanting to go to the salon for a long time and it is everything I saw and more everyone there is so nice, they asked what problems I had with my hair when I wanted to do with my hair if I want to style it if I wanted to fix anything and my hair looked absolutely amazing once I finished. Just all around everything at the salon was absolutely a wonderful experience and I do plan to return in the future.

They really know what they’re doing over there. I finally found stylists who really really know how to work with curls. Not only they cut and style amazing, but I have also learned from them on how to do my hair. Highly recommend for anyone with curls
