I’ve been going to Roots since it opened and wouldn’t trust anywhere else with my hair! Zach nails it every time, i love the ambiance of a salon v the individual hair stalls and i always feel great when i leave!

Got a hair cut with postpartum hair loss a few months ago. Tried everything to fix it and grow it out because it's absolutely destroyed. I do not suggest or recommend this place at all.

I've been doing my own hair for many years and was a bit apprehensive about finding a place that could get the color right. I love this place. I immediately felt comfortable when I walked in to schedule a consult. It is beautiful and relaxing. The people are great and they feel as if they're comfortable there as well. Chavon really listened to my needs and made sure I was comfortable. My hair turned out beautifully. On top of the great service & atmosphere, they also offer complimentary drinks and snacks, and have a shelf that is stocked feminine products in the powder rooms. Those extra details are key. I've booked multiple appointments out.

Chavon at Roots was amazing!! This was my first time putting color in and she took the time to make sure she knew exactly what I wanted and it turned out perfectly! We went very subtle to start out which is what I wanted and I will for sure be coming back. Definitely recommend!

Curly girl here! Sarah was so phenomenal, she was super honest about results, expectations, how much length needed to come off, and super personable to chat with. I felt so comfortable with her through the entire experience. The salon is gorgeous, and all of the team members seem like they love their job so much. 10/10 experience!

Recently started going to here and not only is it totally cute and fab inside, but they have complimentary snacks and drinks. How could you not love💕 I also have to say that Deanna is so sweet and I really appreciate that she doesn’t push anything on me, because as someone who’s hasn’t been to many salons due to my mom always cutting my hair, it was hard to find that. They’ve certainly got me as a long term customer.

Tori is great and takes time to work with me to decide what’s best for my hair. It is a good atmosphere and they even offer drinks and fancy snacks. Highly recommend.

I have been to this salon a few times for intention move up done by the hair stylist, Tori Eure and it was a fantastic experience! From the second you walk in to the second you leave, it is an inviting and welcoming atmosphere. The salon was always kept super clean and staff is beyond friendly. I would 100% recommend going to Roots for any of your hair care needs!!

I've been visiting Roots for over a year now, and Chavon is an artist, making each visit feel like a mini vacation! From their selection of drinks and snacks to the occasional photoshoot afterward and the awesome playlist, I always leave feeling refreshed and confident! The friendliness is palpable, and the way the stylists interact with each other solidifies the feeling of happiness in this salon.

I. LOVE. ROOTS. Seriously the only place I will go to for the best hair care. I have gone darker, lighter, shorter, all the things one could possibly do to their hair and the hairdressers have done it perfectly EVERY. TIME. I have been in the chair for multiple different stylists and they all have done an amazing job. 100% I recommend Roots for anyone and everyone in the triangle area because they are AMAZING!!

The best experience! Roots salon & wellness has the customer service from start to finish. Zach was my stylist & not only did he do an amazing job on my cut & color, but he made me feel so comfortable every step of the way. The salon has such a cute vibe & all of the stylist seemed to work together so well, it created a fun environment! I enjoyed a glass of wine while I was being serviced. I was shocked that I received a cute goodie bag on my first visit & a handwritten note mailed to me from Zach a week after! I could not recommend Roots salon more!

This review is long overdue -- Last year, I took both of my daughters (16 yr / 8 yr) for cuts/styling and the experience was fantastic. It was their first time going to a salon this nice and they were taken care of by Sarah who was incredibly nice, attentive and the results couldn't have been better - Originally a last minute appointment just for my eldest but when I asked if she's be open to fitting my youngest in as well for a quick trim, she was more than accommodating. Everyone there was very friendly and it had an almost spa like atmosphere.

Had my first appointment with Kelli today and it was fabulous! The salon is comfortable and pampering! I had been going to another high end salon in the area for years but my coloring was becoming flat and lackluster. Met with Kelli for a quick consultation to make sure we were both on the same page for lightening my hair. Today, she was very professional- kind and attentive. I walked out feeling well taken care of! I loved both the color and the cut and have already booked my next appointment with her!

Hair color ruined right before the holidays! I wanted to love this salon based on all the glowing reviews, unfortunately my experience was very different. I’ve been getting bronde balayage for years. I had an appointment with Kelli for toner and cut a few days before Christmas. I clearly explained that I like my current color, just wanted to make my highlights a little cooler. My hair came out very dark. Completely not what I expected or asked for! Worst of all, it became brassy/ reddish in the front. I told Kelli right away that my hair looked too dark. She quickly dismissed my comment. I tried to be patient, gave it a few washes before reaching out to see if it can be fixed. Zach was responsive to my messages in his own way. Instead of offering for me to come in and get the color fixed, he bombarded me with a slew of questions as if it was my fault that the color came out this way. Today, I saw Kelli in consultation. She tried to refer me to another stylist instead of offering an apology or a refund for the poorly performed service. I understand that everyone has their off days and perhaps she didn’t mean to ruin my color. I certainly will not be returning to this salon and would not recommend it to others.

I always love this place moving to the Raleigh area I had such a hard time finding a salon that was nice and welcoming !! The stylist here are so sweet and never do me wrong on a hair cut !! Fair prices for the area I’ve gone to three different stylist there because I’m very spontaneous at hair cuts lol but they’ve all been amazing !! I get in with whoever’s available and I trust them all. Will be back soon !
