I wish I could give this place 10 stars! After 4 hairstylist , I will literally be sticking next to Lisa my whole life now . I went in originally for a cut and add on treatment but we decided to also do a gloss/toner last min. She wasn’t pushy at all for me to do the toner and gave me time to decide on it. I will be thanking her my whole life for helping me fix my brassy hair. She was reassuring and quick the whole time I was in her chair and you can just tell she loves what she does. She gave me perfectly what I wanted & helped me decide on going for a mushroom brown color.and the add on treatment left my hair sooooo soft it’s unbelievable (def recommend). I honestly was not worried about the outcome and actually excited during the process! Prices are reasonable and I will definitely be coming back. Thank you Lisa! My hair finally feels so healthy & the color is perfect!

Lisa did such an amazing job with my hair and she was extremely knowledgeable! She always made sure before she made any cuts if I was okay with the length, which I really appreciated, and she captured exactly what I wanted.

To start from the beginning.. I was struggling w my hair. I had major breakage and a bad experience w tape-ins! I like to be blonde as a natural brunette.. Sammy and I talked about what would be best and she delivered👏🏻 I didn’t have to compromise on my preference of hair color! The best part is, my little “‘mini mullet” hair breakage is now growing back and my hair feels healthy again!! She’s the best!!! She’s stuck w me now🤗

I seriously don’t even know where to begin! Everything you can think of about Sammy, her salon Roots, and her staff is above 5 stars! She is an absolutely amazing stylist, colorist, and business owner. She gives you your confidence back without a blink of an eye. Her spa like salon environment is amazing and calming which makes this busy NYC girl super comfortable. Sammy did the most amazing job on a color correction for me that I will not be able to thank her enough for! She also had another stylist at the salon Sara working her magic and I could only see and hear amazing things happening. Definitely a place to go for your hair needs that you can trust! Already pre-booked and cannot wait to visit again!

I was looking for a new hairstylist and found Sammy on Instagram and she did not disappoint. She’s so sweet and took the time to understand what I wanted and got me in within a week. I highly recommend her! So happy I have finally found a long term stylist!! ☺️

I went in for a pretty drastic haircut, from past my shoulders to almost a bob, and I wanted to color my hair for the first time. Sarah was absolutely amazing. She talked me through all the different options, made sure we were both on the same page with what I wanted, and she really had my hair health as a top priority. We decided to go with a demi-permanent gloss for color, and she made a custom mix that would enhance my natural color without needing to bleach it! I was honestly stunned by the results. My hair still felt so healthy, soft, and shiny after! She gave me great tips to prolong the color as well! I can not recommend her highly enough!

Sammy is awesome. I’ve been going to her salon for over 2 years and she’s colored, cut, highlighted and done a Brazilian blowout on my hair and I’ve always felt really good about how I look when she’s finished. She takes her time and listens to what I want done. I have very curly long hair.

Sara and Sammy are literally the BEST!! Sara is the one that bleached my hair (LOVED IT) and then dyed it black (ALSO LOVE IT)! Sammy got me Canes while I was there which was so thoughtful! I love this salon and it feels homey and warm. It’s nice to have some type of rapport with a stylist. And Sara also gave me my first blow out and I’m obsessed with them now!

Sammy is an incredible colorist. She has a sixth sense when it comes to creating an all over color or a touch up. Her highlights are so natural looking and her extensions are amazing! Cuts are spot on. Pricing is reasonable. You'll get the best care and service in the valley. Centrally located in Scottsdale at Scottsdale Rd and Shea.

August 28 , 2019 The owner saw me come in and I sat down and waited 2 hours before she decided to come over and ask me what I was having done. She also spent too much talking and not enough time working on the customers which there was just two customers during the two hours I was there . Honestly find a place where you are ackowledged when you come in , Courtesy provided to all customers who come into your bussiness, they should be greated as soon as you come in not two hours later.

She will always do what best for you and your hair!! She uses great products for washing hair and coloring! She will never steer you in the wrong direction! She offers a wide range of services! I had been on the hunt for a new stylist a few years ago and I found Sammy! I live in Peoria, AZ and travel to Scottsdale for Sammy! Her salon is very sleek and inviting. Sammy is so friendly, efficient and her enthusiasm for doing hair is evident! Her prices are very reasonable and I always leave feeling refreshed and fabulous. I can't say enough about Sammy she is spectacular and I highly recommend her.
