Where do I begin .. Worst thing about this little tiny claustrophobic “ spa “ is its employees. Such an awkward crew. Dry is really the word that comes to mind. Just such a dry , zero personality crew. Starting with the Owner down to the laser and the Botox girls. Such unpleasant vibes in this place. They are extremely awkward. They have no bedside manner, they’re not very polite and very cold. They don’t know one thing about customer service. When you enter this place instead of feeling relaxed , you’re going in there nervous because The crew is just so impolite, and you never know how you will be received . they just do not make you feel comfortable. I would suggest a lot of customer service training and just basic knowledge in how to talk to people, and how to get them to feel comfortable when coming in for services. After all, this is a service based business. You should care more about your clients and not whisper around when you’re putting a client in the room. It sounds like you’re talking about them behind their back. Very weird vibe in that place. I would definitely not recommend it , I was even told an inappropriate comment right to my face, which I had no idea what it even meant and how to take it.

I had a hydrafacial at Roots Medspa and it was hands down the worst facial I have ever had. The esthetician was not friendly and appeared annoyed that she was at work. After the facia she had the nerve to try and sell me hundreds of dollars worth of skincare. Absolutely not worth the price. Definitely won’t be back and certainly won’t recommend this place for facials.

Roots has become my sanctuary; if I'm not there at least three times a week, I must be out of town. It all started with Victoria's consistent monthly HydraFacials, which soon led me to Caitlin's IV treatments. Before I knew it, I was saying 'give me one of everything!' I've been deeply involved in the aesthetic field since I was 20, serving as the Marketing Director of a prominent MedSpa in Tampa for nine years. Needless to say, I can spot quality when I see it. Victoria has been instrumental in maintaining my skin goals and even helping me work towards being hair-free! Caitlin introduced me to the Fire & Ice program to combat inflammation and fatigue stemming from my Autoimmune disease. Recently, with Caitlin's guidance, I began Tirzepatide treatment, and the support I've received has been invaluable. While many places now offer similar treatments, it's Caitlin's expertise and the solid foundation of Roots that earn my trust. She's meticulous, coordinating with my Rheumatologist and overseeing my blood work. On top of everything, I recently indulged in lip filler and Botox with Julie. It was a bittersweet moment, marking the first time in over nine years that I paid for these treatments, but the results were flawless. I couldn't be happier. If you're seeking anything aesthetic/wellness-related, look no further than Roots – my glowing recommendation (and face) speaks for itself.

Truly a great experience. The team are pros that believe in helping you meet your goals. The plan that Caitlin had for me helped me lose 36 pounds, changed my diet, supported a life change that included gradual increase in exercise, and now weight training. I am off my blood pressure medicine and labs have never been better. Can’t wait to see the gains I make as the plan evolves. I look forward to turning 50 now. Thank you all.

Victoria is the best! She is very thorough, listens well, and creates a personalized skin care plan. She even helped me find products within my budget. My skin feels and looks so much better after the Refresh Facial! Highly recommend!

Roots is a place that has become like home! I can’t say enough great things about Caitlin. When doing her wellness program, she is very thorough. When doing my preliminary lab work, she detected an auto-immune disorder that I had no idea I had. She truly wants you to be healthier and not as interested as much in the profit like other places. Through the program, she has been available for questioning and is a wealth of knowledge. I always look forward to my appointments with her! I’ve also had the pleasure of working with Victoria, who is also amazing. She helped me come up with a great treatment plan for my skin and listens to my concerns. I can’t recommend roots enough!!

Fantastic place for laser hair removal. Victoria is always so wonderful to see and chat with during my services, and the facility is so nice and clean. I don’t normally travel to Tampa (from St. Petersburg) because of traffic, but it’s worth it for my appointments here.

I can't say enough good things about the facial service given by Victoria. She provided great ideas on how to improve my skin care. She was gentle and explained each step during my hydra facial that left my skin flawless .The whole staff is nice, caring and an absolutely pleasure. The results are fabulous, and the prices are perfect. I recommend this establishment to anyone looking for fantastic skin care!

I found Roots Wellness Spa after nearly a year of jumping over hurdles and getting the run around by my doctors and insurance company about starting a GLP-1 agonist to help lose weight. I had previously lost and maintained weight on my own but the combination major life changes and PCOS caused me to regain 70lbs in 6 months. I was feeling beyond defeated with either gaining or maintaining weight while eating at a calorie deficient. I had no energy, my pcos felt completely unmanageable and my weight was significantly impacting my life on a daily basis. I started compounded tirzepatide (mounjaro) a little more than 3 months ago, I’m down about 35lbs and 18 inches off my waist and stomach. The only side effect I’ve experienced was some intermittent nausea the first week or two. The benefits of this medication go so far beyond pounds dropping. I feel GOOD. I have my energy to take better care of myself. I don’t wake up frequently throughout the night. My relationship with food has completely changed. I really struggled with cravings from PCOS and binge eating from stress and the most unexpected change with this med is that both of those things went away pretty much overnight. It’s forced me to reevaluate my stress coping mechanisms and has pushed me into a healthier place mentally. I am such an advocate for this medication, I wish it could be available to everyone who could benefit from it. I felt like I was at the end of my rope and can’t imagine continuing on the path I was on. I have zero regrets about the financial aspect, feeling so much healthier already truly feels worth every penny, and the savings gained from not ordering take out and eating poorly really helped balance that out. I am so grateful to have found Caitlin. She’s genuine and listens to your concerns. It’s the first time I’ve felt validated by a medical provider in a long time. If you are on the fence about this just go see her!

I had a HydraFacial done with Sarah and the experience was amazing. She guided me through the profile process, explained the treatment step by step and made me feel at full ease. She recommended some great products and am very pleased with the results. My face feels so relieved that I know I will be back as Roots Wellness & Medspa offers a variety of treatments. 5 stars all the way!

I had a Hydrafacial with Sarah a few months ago and she was amazing. She was very thorough when explaining the steps throughout the process. At the end, my face felt clean and airy with an AMAZING glow. Aside from the facial, the spa was beautiful & new, and everyone was friendly and welcoming. I am so happy it is conveniently located in Channelside, which reminds me that I am due for another facial!

I had the deluxe hydrafacial here. It included lymphatic draining. It was amazing. My skin was glowing and so clean afterwards. She literally vacuumed my pores. The spa itself is beautiful, and clean. All of their equipment is new which I love because a lot of the Medspas have older machines and need updating. Easy parking. Overall a great experience.

I've struggled with cystic acne for the past 15+ years and within recent years also melasma. I've always used medical grade products and many expensive treatments that have never seemed to work until I started going to Roots. Within months of seeing both Victoria and Sarah my skin has never looked better. My acne has completely cleared up and melasma has lightened up. In addition to seeing dramatic results from my services, Caitlin & the entire Roots team are so welcoming and knowledgeable!!!

Love this place and can't recommend Julie enough; she's so kind and smart and makes you feel super comfortable. I had my first IPL treatment with her yesterday and an acne scar I've had for 7 years has already faded significantly. Couldn't be happier!!

I'm only visiting the area to assist with the storms and don't always have a day off or know the area I am temporarily assigned to. I found this place doing a quick search and just love it. They were able to get me in quickly. They were efficient and knowledgeable. Ms. Victoria was so kind & informative on everything I asked, and the facial was wonderful!!!! Ms. Tiffany at the Front was extremely helpful and so vivacious her smile just lit the place up. Ms. Caitlin McC. was just as sweet and so informative with her time and knowledge- so kind to answer the questions I asked she helped me decide what procedures I wanted to try. The atmosphere was calming and restful. You need to give them a try.

Seeing Caitlin at Roots for weight loss assistance was the best decision I’ve ever made! Caitlin is seriously the best, the sweetest, most knowledgeable person. She made me feel so valid about the struggle to loose weight, especially myself dealing with pcos. She recommended me taking Tirzepatide and I took that weekly for about 3 months and lost 20 lbs and 4 jean sizes! It seriously changed my life. I’ve always struggled with hormonal weight fluctuations and had tried everything. This was such a perfect and safe option for me that I am so thankful Caitlin was able to recommend to me. I already have had 2 and now coming on 3 people come see Caitlin for this same program and they are just as obsessed as I am. Truly can’t thank Caitlin enough 🩷

I absolutely love this place; run, do not walk here! I have had visits for multiple different wellness and med spa experiences, and each visit has been wonderful. The front staff are friendly and always greet me with a smile. Every meeting is personalized, with the full attention of the specialist I am scheduled to see, for the full 30 minutes I have the booking. I like to ask questions and I have never felt dismissed for asking a lot! I always feel like I'm treated like the number one client here, and not like they are trying to get clients in and out as quickly as possible. I have been to other med spa's where the specialist spent 30 seconds with me and didn't explain what she did or the post-treatment. I had to google that myself. Not at Roots Wellness. They explain every procedure thoroughly and clearly and will put you at ease if it it's your time with a new medspa treatment. I have meet with Julie, who took the time to review my pre-post pictures after a facial wellness experience and Caitlyn, the owner. Caitlyn goes above and beyond to listen and always greets with a smile. There are a lot of medspa's in the Tampa area, but you will feel at home at this place. I highly recommend!

They make you take before pictures which I did not enjoy. If I’m paying for a service why are you trying to use me for your marketing? Also the pricing is twice as much as other places in Tampa. Quality was okay. They also make you schedule a follow up which is annoying to say the least.
