ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE SERVICE, UNSANITARY PRODUCTS, RUDE OWNER!!!! the staff is extremely rude/ the lady who runs the place- terrible service, never coming back, and dont recommend to anyone!! The owner who was doing my haircut did whatever she wanted with “consultation” of 1 photo i showed her & gave me a completely different haircut, pulled on my hair multiple times with comb that was dirty & didn’t clean it, and was excessively rude. To top it off, she added a tip and asked me to sign, and i signed and was about to change the tip when she submitted the payment without consent, I’ve never ever seen this behavior and i’m shocked & disgusted by this behavior. She tipped herself 20% for this abysmal service without consent- definitely reporting this place.

Listen. Melinda cuts my french bob for over 20 years now. This woman has the formal, renowned education and training from the Vidal Sassoon Institute, she delivers every single time, people have been stopping me in the street, in restaurants, to ask me who cuts my hair!! Every now and then, I tried other hair stylists; to my sorrow, none ever measured up to her. Her haircut makes me happy for months after, I feel foxy again!

I booked an appointment for a pedicure through ClassPass two days ago at 5pm during Roque’s normal business hours. I left work early and commuted 30 mins for the appointment, and when I arrived, the salon was closed (even though the appointment was booked during their normal business hours). There was no communication from the salon, and my appointment was showing as confirmed on the app. I also received a confirmation email. I tried calling, no response. I then had to work with ClassPass to get a refund, which took me another 30 minutes, before making the commute home. Would not recommend this salon due to the unprofessionalism and zero communication.

Before I found Melinda, I changed hairstylists all the time. Now, I can’t imagine going to anyone else. She is a magician - her layers are precise and thoughtful, and she can maintain length while improving the shape of a cut.

Worst pedicure I’ve ever gotten. I waited 5 minutes locked outside then another 15 minutes waiting for the tec to finish up her last client. The pedicure hurt the whole time it also seemed like the tech was undertrained. The place was ice cold and it was a dry pedicure which was not advertised, she used wet cold rags. I had already pre pre- paid in advance for a pedicure and I asked to remove the gel I had before and use gel . normally at other salons this is an additional $20 to $30 dollars the technician charged me $45 dollars and commented that she was going to charge me an extra 20 for removal. In total I paid almost $100 for a basic dry pedicure with gel I don’t mind paying $100 for pedicures as I have in the past, but if it’s going to be above average price, I expect an above average experience which it was not

I had an awesome experience at Roque Salon today. The staff was great and very accommodating. My nail tech was very skilled and has great attention to detail. My nails look amazing I'm a simple design person opting for a soft blush color. Melinda Rodriguez was very hospitable, as well as the other nail techs. I love this place. Will definitely return I highly recommend Roque Salon.

Love, love, LOVE this salon!! I was just there for the new RUSSIAN MANICURE & PEDICURE I’ve been hearing about, and I am obsessed. My cuticles have never looked or felt better and my nails are perfection. I was stressed out and exhausted when I arrived, but the technicians were so lovely and the atmosphere so relaxing, I felt refreshed and rested when I left. Okay, I might have dosed off in the chaise lounge during my pedicure…it was sooooo relaxing I couldn’t help it. Also, Melinda gives the best haircut (and blowouts) in the city, but everyone already knows that. Can’t wait to go back for all of it!!!

On Thersday I had my Russian Manicure appointment with Celine. Everything was comfortable and fast as I can say. They offered me drinks, we had friendly conversation during all service. She was gentle asking if everything okay, if I like the shape. When I was confused choosing color, because they have so much variety so it was so hard to chose, she said that she can apply 3 of them on my nails so I can decide what fits best. It was very nice. Definitely recommend to everyone ! :)

Wow. This was one of the BEST mani-pedi I’ve had in a while. I don’t know about you, but I have the driest cuticles in the world and on this particular day my paws were parched, and my feet looked like they were made of chalk. Zena & Celine stepped up and tamed, prim, and trimmed the ravaged appendages. Really, they did an amazing job! My new go to treatment: Russian Dry Gel mani-pedi. Dry time cut in half, color that last longer than typical polish, and the salon itself - made my experience enjoyable.

I used to get my hair cut at Roque when I lived in Chicago. Rene was my favorite stylist, but even after he left, the cuts were amazing. My hair was always healthy and everyone would compliment my color and cut. The colorist worked magic in matching the color to complement my complexion and skin tone. I have super curly hair and whether I wore my hair curly or straight, the cut worked.

I’ve been a frequent customer at Roque since I discovered it earlier this summer. It’s always nice and clean. The staff is friendly and very professional. Kasha (I hope I’m spelling it right) is my go-to nail technician. She ALWAYS does an excellent job! I’ve never had someone this detail-oriented doing my nails & making sure everything looks perfect. I 100% recommend this place💅

Claudia is AMAZING for lashes! There are those who dabble in eyelash extensions, perhaps trying them once for a special occasion, like a big vacation or wedding, and then there are those for whom extension fills are commonplace, such as a standing manicure or blowout appointment. That is ME! I haven't used mascara in ages and use minimal makeup so I am ready to go as soon as wake up :) I get daily compliments on them and am always asked where I go...now you know!
