You have to put down a cash app deposit to schedule an appointment.That's cool, but I'm old school when deposits weren't a thing. Appointment time doesn't start at the time scheduled. Prices are a bit high, and service a bit slow. It's not horrible, just not for me. I'm big on Customer service, that's what makes me come back. I didn't get exceptional customer service, so it's a no for me.

So grateful to have found this braiding salon. I’ve never had to go in and wait, Ms. Rosy doesn’t overbook and have you sitting in the salon for an hour before she gets started on your service. The salon is clean and I bought a cute dress in the shop today. I’ve always left the shop loving my hair, and I am picky! Great environment and always an enjoyable experience. Two top tier braiders with EXCELLENT customer service and very reasonable prices. I won’t go anywhere else and I highly recommend. 5 stars ladies!!

I love getting my hair braided by Ms. Rosy. She’s so welcoming, kind and funny. We always have great conversations. You can tell she loves what she does. Last time I was at her shop, a client came in and told Ms. Rosy that she has a job interview coming up, Ms. Rosy told the client to come back later in the day( mind you, you have to make an appointment and send in a deposit) so that she can look good for her interview; she’s such an amazing woman. I’m glad she’s my braided, I wouldn’t want to go anywhere else. Love you Ms. Rosy!!

We discussed on the phone bohemian knotless. I don’t get my hair braided often, so as she was doing so I wouldn’t of been able to tell the difference. Maybe I wasn’t understanding her, but she tried to tell me what she was doing was what I agreed to. I was in a chair that didn’t face the mirror. Rosy was kind and gentle to begin with. No problems, helped pick out the perfect color. When I asked her if she was doing knotless , she told me no and when I told her I didn’t necessarily like it, she told me I didn’t even know the difference between knotless and what she was doing. I asked to stand up to look at it and my body flushed and the way it looked upset me. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and although she said she was parting like the picture , it was nothing I expected or wanted. Upset, she then said she didn’t want to continue if I didn’t like it and that she would take it all out and I’d just pay her 20 dollars. I had already sat there for 3 hours and I truly didn’t want to waste her time so I said no I’m sorry go ahead and finish, we’re already halfway done and I at least thought I could try and fix it in a style that I feel would of fit me. Not sure what happened after communication. Considering there is a sign posted that says “make sure you like your hair before leaving your appointment” on the wall, I thought I could tell her I don’t like it and to just redo each braid. I understand that would of been time consuming so like I said I sat there and let her finish. As she’s finishing she’s on her phone longer than usual, and her gentle hands became rough. Didn’t speak to me the rest of the time. Going home and the next day my braids are so tight I can’t even style them differently. The top part of my hair is stiff and the bottom is flowy. I’ve dipped the top part to lay it down a bit and it looks a bit better. I’m just upset for how tight they are and that it’s just not what I was looking for. I feel like one wrong move and my braid will come out along with my real hair out of my scalp. I would of liked to come back but I feel like when someone tells you they don’t like how it’s coming out rather than telling me I didn’t know the difference , apologize for miscommunication and instead of then trying to offer the time to take them out, I assumed she could of just undid each braid that she went back to finish braiding. Id recommend to someone else because despite my experience rosy is talented. Just sorry I didn’t stand up and see what she was doing to correct it before half my head was done.
