I've been back 3+ times, this is my favorite place to get a massage in Brooklyn. It's an excellent place to relax! The massage therapists are always friendly and very sweet. The establishment is clean and warm. Highly suggest the combination massage!! <3

Price is incredible, I got a deep tissue hot stone massage for my friend and I for roughly $110 dollars on Groupon - the ladies were consummate professionals and the experience was restorative and peaceful

Great experience! The ladies were sweet, the massage was good, and it was a calm atmosphere. Used a Groupon, there was an additional $4 service fee when I arrived, just as a heads up. Would definitely come again

I got this on Groupon as a gift for me and my bf since we have the same birthday. We didn’t get to use it until a little over a month later. He enjoyed his massage but mine was so rough I kept telling the lady I was in pain. She would just stop and move to another section. I was considering getting up and dropping the massage but it had already been paid for. She burned me with the hot stones and I screamed “Hot” and she stopped for a little and then proceeded when they weren’t as hot. At some point when I was on my back I had to turn an alarm off on my phone so I grabbed it and did so still keeping the towel on and still on the bed (only moving my arms mostly) she exposed my breasts one at a time and looked at me which made me feel weird. When we finished the lady who did my bf’s massage argued with me about the $8 tax when I gave her a $20 until the other worker explained it was enough and she had to give me change. My bf was in the bathroom and when he came out he offered a tip and the same woman who argued with me kept pushing for him to leave a bigger tip for both of them and after telling her twice what he wanted to tip and she wanted more we had to walk out. They started calling me and yelling outside for us to come back. It’s been a few days and I’m still in so much pain.

Perfect for masochists. I have been to this place twice, but never again. I work in construction and am pretty tough but after that, my back feels like a pile of raw ground meat. The masseuse moved with extreme speed and intensity even when I specifically asked her to lighten up. The movements were jolting, erratic, uneven. I felt she must be thinking of someone who scorned her. Massages shouldn’t hurt so much that you tense up from fear of what’s next and they shouldn’t leave you feeling bruised the next day. They need to SLOW DOWN — quality over quantity! But they’ll have to do it with another customer because this one is out.

Great massage, I’ve been stressed & tired since a but so lof of knots. They went all deep and price was great too for 1hour. Can’t wait to be back! Ps- Ask for Peter(if i remember right)- he s the best

I had Swedish massage for an hour and it was amazing 🥰 very sweet lady massage therapist made it perfect. She paid extra attention at the specific parts of my body where tissue was compressed and massage the whole body in general was lovely and relaxed. She used also beside hands hot stones, hot oil, foot massage which was very relaxing. Beside that private room was comfortable, price is reasonable and lady at the reception was extremely nice, so I enjoyed my time a lot!

Nice quaint spot for a relaxing massage. I can not remember my tech's name, but Sis went in! Will definitely be returning. Got my some Pies and Thighs after too! Also after a number of massages u get one free, thgt that was a cool loyalty reward

This is my favorite go to spot for massages. I’ve been getting massages for a very long time and this by far to me is where they get it right. I have been suffering from a pinched nerve and since I have been coming here I feel a difference. The only downside it gets noisy but other then that, it’s clean the staff is kind and knowledgeable.

What I didn't like is that they add a $4 (so called tax fee) per person, and in reality you're paying for the fee groupon charges them per per purchase. Then they don't accept cards, only cash, and which you're forced to use their atm in the establishment. They most likely get a percentage of atm fees. They catch you off guard with that.

I have had dozens of massages in the city & in Williamsburg and I would give my massage from Royal Spa a 5/10 at best. I popped in for a 50 minute massage on a weeknight and underwhelmed is an understatement. The facility is awkward, small, and cheap. The prices are slightly higher than other spas in Williamsburg and the facilities nor massage justified the price difference. My massage was very dry and stale. I kept wondering if the person was new or if they were even professional. There was so much friction and the lotion was very cheap and dry - there was no flow to the massage whatsoever. There are so many other small massage spaces in Williamsburg that I will revisit. I was hoping Royal Spa would workout because it is closer to my apartment but I will happily make the walk to some of the other places in the neighborhood. When I finished my massage, I googled to see if there were any reviews, and seeing 3.5 stars made me laugh. There is a reason the reviews aren’t wonderful. Save your money and visit somewhere else in the neighborhood.

Massage was way too rough , I told the guy multiple times that he was causing me pain and he didn’t stop I am still in pain and my back is swollen and I still have a terrible headache due to that massage Was not able to relax for one second during this massage They charged additional tax when I got there on top of the Groupon coupon AND I was ambushed for a tip even though I already left a $20 tip Terrible service 0/10 would not recommend

Remembering how to unplug and relax…Just had a 30 minute foot massage with no phone and just a magazine. They started with a hot towel on the feet and kept one leg covered while working on the other. I had a very comfortable chair and even had a lap blanket. They ended the massage with another hot towel, so I wouldn’t squish around my shoes with the massage lotion. It’s cash only and there’s an ATM machine with a .99 cent charge. And they gave me a visit card to get one free after 10 visits. With it being so easy and relaxing, and approachable pricing, I can see myself making this a regular visit.

Royal Spa is a solid 4 star space. It's clean, the massage is great, and the people are kind. It's a bit noisy since the rooms are only partitioned by curtains. I will probably be back

Stay away. I barely leave reviews for anything but had to for this place. This might have been the worst customer experience I’ve ever had. The woman at the front desk couldn’t figure out the Groupon my girlfriend got me, and instead of figuring it out right when I got in, she interrupted my massage while she was on the phone with the owner asking me to show my voucher number. When I said I didn’t have that information because it was a gift from my girlfriend, the owner said “well then call your girlfriend right now and get it from her” after 5 minutes of figuring it out she came back got the voucher number and then I was finally allowed to go back to my mediocre massage. Terrible experience.

The massage was a little too hard. They charge extra on top of the groupon and it’s cash only. They were a little pushy with how much I should tip too. But overall pretty good
