I had an amazing full-body and foot massage today at the Royal Spa. It relieved my sore, tight muscles from all the gym workouts. Hands down, one of the best massages I’ve experienced in Columbia!!!

Not worth $70. I saw this spa online and they were offering a gratitude special which was $5 off service or a free 15min foot massage if you spend over $60 for service . I was coming in to get an hour massage which was $70. I called to make my appointment and asked about the special.. the woman cut me off and told me that special was last year and old. I told her they need to remove off internet. I still made my appointment for 6pm. When I arrived they did not know who I was or anything. One of the women did not speak English and we had to use google translator. My massage was uncomfortable, the woman was too rough and I had to let her know several times that she was to rough but she did not understand what I was saying. After the massage I paid the $70 cash and another woman came from the back stating I needed to leave a $10 tip. I told her tips are optional and they woman did not deserve a tip. The woman tried to keep me from leaving stating I needed to leave a tip. In order for me to leave I told her I have to see if I have any money in the car. I was able to leave and I drove off. I will NEVER come here again.

I just got a full body massage at Royal Spa with hot stones and extra oils and IT WAS AMAZING!!!! She took her time, she was very nice, professional and kept me smiling the entire time. My body received healing today and I will be back with all my friends! THANK YOU AGAIN SEE YOU AGAIN REAL SOON

IT WAS AMAZING!!! When I came in my back was in so much pain! The very nice lady worked out every knot! She took her time and really made me feel so wonderful! The place is so clean and decorated so nice! It's relaxing and the atmosphere is perfect. She offered bottle water as soon as I got to the room. If u want a good massage this is definitely the place to come! Oh and the prices are the best! Come see Nancy and the other ladies!

My significant other and I recently visited and were absolutely thrilled with our experience. While we don't do couples massages, we both enjoyed individual sessions, and we couldn't be happier with the service. The atmosphere was clean, calming, and welcoming—everything you hope for in a massage place. I've been to a few other places around the area, and I can confidently say this is the best one yet. From the moment I walked in, the lady who attended to me was incredibly warm and kind, making me feel right at home. Her attention to detail and care made the massage not only relaxing but truly rejuvenating. We'll definitely be back! Friendly staff, greeting you as you walk in. Place is quaint and very clean. Manager is amazing and very knowledgeable of the massage procedures. Price is reasonable. You even get your feet massaged, included; something not seen at many spas. I would recommend it.

Highly recommend the Royal Spa located in NE Columbia, SC. Every time that my neck, back or legs are hurting this is the place to come. Every experience is amazing and the best most relaxing massages. The staff is very professional, friendly & incredibly talented. The price is fantastic. My family will definitely be going back for another session!

Last night my best friend and I enjoyed a 30 minute foot massage at King Spa! I was repeatedly asked by them to write a review - so here is my honest one. The space itself was clean and the massage was great! The prices are fair (however I’d advise bringing cash to avoid their $4-$6 fee). However the space is not in the safest spot - I would not advise women going alone or after dark. And overall there could be improvement to their hygienic standards - such as visibly washing hands prior to the massage and using individualized products - not just whipping out an already used jar of Vaseline. That said I would consider returning in the future.

Nancy is an amazing massage therapist. Every time I've gone to see her, my body aches go away. She's the only masseuse that has been able to take away my pain completely. I had severe back pain two months ago where I could barely turn around to look back when I was driving. She did a full body massage for me and it took away the pain. I thought I was going to need to go to a doctor to get painkillers because the back pain was so bad, but Nancy took away the problem. I saw her today and have been having bad shoulder pain for a week. Today, the pain was taken away as soon as she did only a 10 minute chair massage for me. You won't be disappointed by having her give you a massage. Also, the store is very clean inside and has nice music and ambience.

First of all, let me say I do not understand how they got a 5 star rating. When my back was literally beat up. Not massage, not rub down, but legitimately beat up in the end on top of that doing this service. She had to stop to go answer the phone. And the door when is she decided to come back? She decides to beat my back up some more notice. I say beat my back up because she never touched my arms or my lyrics. Or my feet. She just rubbed them in what she touched them to say she gave him a massage. She came back to beat my back up again. The icing on the cake was when after the horrible service I had received. I still decided to give her a $5 tip. She told me no. She wanted a $10 tip .. she worked hard🤬🤬🤬🤬👿👿👿😡😡😡😤😤at that point I just walked out the door. I do not and I mean. Do not recommend anyone to this place of.

As a massage therapist I know the industry quite well. I was visiting from out of town and desperately needed a massage for my hurting back.Before going I read the reviews and found some excellent ones so I took a chance. Nancy was very friendly when I entered and told me she could take me right away. She wanted me to prepay the massage AND the tip. RED FLAG. I did prepay the massage but not the tip. I then stepped into a simple cold room. She turned on the heater to make it warm and left. I stood there unsure about whether she wanted to start face up or face down and how much clothing she wanted me to take off. LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE. I ran after her to clarify. I got on the table and took the very small cloth to cover my butt. NO BLANKET IN THE WINTER. I laid there for a good while, maybe 5 minutes. Then Nancy entered and started massaging. Her TECHNIQUE WAS GOOD.Deep tissue is what I needed and that's what she gave me. Five minutes later she walked out without saying a word. Where did my therapist go? I had to laugh because this is a no go in the business. After about 3 minutes she came back. I told her," Nancy you can't just walk out when you're massaging me without saying anything". She answered, "I had customer, I can't lose customer." SAFETY AND SPACE VIOLATION She basically interrupted my massage to attend to a walk in customer. AN INTERACTION I WAS PAYING FOR! We argued and she got angry. How could I not have sympathy for her attending to the walk in customer during MY massage? 😂. She continued to massage me. She pushed the towel off of my butt. When I wanted to cover it again she said, "No problem, I'm woman, I'm not man". Ok whatever, I thought. I am not very self conscious when it comes to my body. Then she started talking in Chinese to her coworker through the door. She seemed upset. Suddenly, the door opened and another female briefly came in. I'm still butt naked on the table. PRIVACY VIOLATION. The rest of the massage was good. MY BODY FELT SO MUCH BETTER AFTERWARDS. Because her technique was good and I know how much energy a deep tissue massage takes I generously tipped her $10, despite all the violations. She asked for more. I explained all the violations to her and left. I'm only giving her 2 stars because she worked hard, otherwise I would give her 0. This will remain an UNFORGETTABLE EXPERIENCE!

She gets rave reviews because of the pressure she can provide. However for someone whose muscles are super tight they do NOT want deep tissue. One of the reasons for effleurage is to warm up the muscles by bringing a blood supply to them. She immediately starts in with the heavy pressure, inappropriate technique. I almost jumped off the table several times. I insisted that I wanted soft. And she kept telling me that if she didn't use hard that I would not benefit. When I only gave her a $5.00 tip she told me, "Next time you bring more. I work hard". I never asked for hard. She wants $7.00 extra for coconut oil and $6.00 credit card fee. I was in agony the next few days. I could hardly walk. I regret that I laid there while she continued to torment me. I'm asking myself why I didn't get up and leave!
