My facial was amazing. I HIGHLY recommend it. She get 5 stars for that! My massage was ok...could have been better. My massage therapist kept itching his face and stopping causing a disruption in the flow and it kept me from relaxing. That's why overall it was only 3 stars. I spent over $200! I will be going back to try a different therapist for sure.

Alberta is by far the best esthetician in Oro Valley. I have been coming to Rubs for many years. After booking with others and with other spas, I found the best. She listens, cares about your concerns, and does an amazing job. My skin has never looked better; I highly recommend her.

Alyssa was my massage therapist when I went in and she was so nice and welcoming! She made me feel very at ease and relaxed during the massage. I would definitely come back in for a massage with her!

Had a fantastic 80-minute massage by Alyssa. I will definitely be back. The massage was perfect. The only bad thing I have to say is that they actually expected me to move off of the table and get dressed and leave when done. As if I could! I was practically boneless when Alyssa was done getting rid of my knots. 😉😉😉

I went to see Alyssa for a hot stone massage and it was fantastic! She made me feel so comfortable and at ease throughout the entire session. It was a calming and relaxing environment. Alyssa is very good at what she does and will have your body feeling amazing in no time at all! The facility is very clean and the staff are very friendly. I highly recommend!

So disappointed and if I could give no stars I would. I was gifted a gift card for Christmas by my dear friend and she had recommended a facialist, Lisa, for a derma-plane facial. I called to book an appointment as I finally had a day off and to find out they stopped giving derma-planing and microdermabrasion appointments. So I asked the girl on the phone why they stopped providing those services and she said that it was a corporate decision based off an insurance thing. So I called my friend who gifted me the gift card and she said that at her last appointment she had received those services. So extremely disappointed and pretty annoyed that this gift card is essentially pointless and null. I wanted a derma-plane facial. Not a peel like the girl on the phone suggested.

Tried this place twice, the first time I left in pain because the therapist was so rough. I told her several times, deep pressure but slow movement. She couldn’t follow simple instructions and I was unable to relax because of her rushing and inability to listen. The manager offered me a refund and I tried with a different therapist. They also gave me a free membership but I didn’t use it since I couldn’t find a good massage therapist here. Giving two stars since they did try.

We came here for the getaway package (massage/facial) and had the BEST experience. Wonderful massage therapists, and Andrea was a great esthetician. If we didn’t live so far away, we’d totally come back again.

I had a terrible massage, I left like I didn't have a massage done, I wasn't relaxed at all. Danielle didn't spend any time at all on the areas I needed the most. This was a gift certificate from my kids and I felt that I wasted. This place used to be very but not any more. I do not recommend the person.

Matt was exceptional! Very intuitive and adaptive in his approach which was greatly appreciated. It felt like a 'custom' massage. I had surgery recently and could not lay face down but was desperate for a massage. He suggested laying on each side and had a full body pillow to make these feasible and comfortable. I tend to nod off when getting a massage, which, by my standards, is a huge compliment to the therapist. My comfort & relaxation level is at it's best as I nod off. Matt never startled me when it was time to change position or when the session had ended. I believe Matt said he has 30 years experience in a variety of treatments and modalities. He offered some great and useful insights regarding posture and core that I plan on trying. Thanks again Matt!

Spa get away , Matt is so amazing,he listens and truly a kind caring person whose goal is making a difference in how people feel and Lori gave me a wonderful first facial , also a very kind lady who not only gave me a facial but finished the spa package with a wonderful foot rub and arms and neck . Very affordable for all that I received . I am hooked

The front desk and the aesthetician were amazing! However I was supposed to get a 50 minute massage last night and the massage therapist tried to tell me there wasn’t time to do a full body massage like I have gotten from every other massage therapist at Rubs… I am not sure why she’s the only one that could not do that. But it was very rushed and I could tell I was her last client for the day, she very much acted like she just wanted to leave for the day ASAP. Then when I asked her again to at least work on my legs a little bit because I’ve been in pain all week, she assured me she only had seven minutes and couldn’t do it. Then quit seven minutes early. So I ended up not getting what I wanted, my massage cut short, and I am still in pain today. I’m afraid to get another massage too soon on the muscles she did work on so now I have to wait a few more days of pain before I can get another one and spend more money to get another massage that I should have gotten to begin with. This is the first massage therapist at Rubs that I’ve had a bad experience with… I did tell the front desk and they took $10 off which was a nice gesture. However, it’s not going to pay for the massage that I’m going to have to get later this week again and the pain that I’m going to be in because I didn’t get what I paid for to begin with.

Traveling for a month, my body was road sore, so I booked a package to iron out the kinks. Had a great facial with Andrea, and awesome massage with David that identified and healed my aches. Would do it again in a minute.

I have been going here for massage for over two years. Extremely professional. Try several excellent therapists until you find one or two who really fit your needs. Jordan, at the front desk, is particularly friendly and helpful. If your favorite therapist's schedule is full, they will call you if a spot opens up. I'm very pleased with their operation.
