**Update: Granted what had happened on my second trip here was frustrating but I was honestly really impressed by how the owner and other workers were quick to react and fix the issue that had happened. They sympathized with what had happened and took necessary steps to rectify the damage which I was impressed at. Clearly a reputable salon that actually cares which is really nice to see I normally don't leave reviews but my hair was absolutely destroyed here. I've only been here twice, but on my second trip here recently I just wanted a touchup of what I had previously done. As a brunette, I wanted to stay brunette just go a little brighter, not blonde. I left with bright yellow streaks in my hair and it looked awful. Not only did it cost $185, but I had to pay to get it fixed at another salon. At the other salon, it was discovered that the stylist actually burned my scalp with the highlights, which was clear with the streaks of red throughout my scalp followed by white. They had to treat my hair with a vitamin and then fix what this salon did. Save yourself the trouble and don't go here.

Ruby was a good place for a few years but has gotten too big and greedy and forgotten how to take care of their customers. Now the staff is overworked, the place is crowded and appointment times are ignored. Do yourself a favor and take your business to a place that appreciates your business and respects your time.

Ruby salon takes customer service to a 5 star level. Exceptional response to concerns raised by my wife when she was disappointed with her hair dying experience. They went above and beyond to correct the mistake and compensate us for our troubles. Although it wasn't a great hair experience... It was a great example of how to handle customer complaints and disappointment and unmet expectations. Ruby salon did that with grace and for that reason they earned a 5 star review.

This was my first time having my hair cut at Ruby salon. The stylist Celine was super nice, did a great job, cut my hair exactly how I wanted it. The space was comfortable, modern but not cold. There was great natural lighting from the large windows. Will definitely go back there next time.

While my hair stylist worked hard and did his best, he was a brand-new stylist with very limited experience and a lack of confidence. I feel like, particularly as a new customer, I should have been alerted when making the appointment that I had been assigned to a novice stylist. I get that everyone needs to start somewhere but for $180 color/cut, I could have gotten a better cut (and certainly faster cut and color) are Hair Cuttery for 1/3 of the price. I just think it is best practice to tell the client ahead of time who they are getting and let them decide if they want to take a chance on a new stylist.

You know this place lost my business before I've ever had a chance to go. Every single time I call for an appt I get placed on hold for the longest time. I have yet to connect with a real live person. I'm wondering how everyone else gets appts?
