Jamie is absolutely amazing! This is the first time I’ve had a haircut that I genuinely love. She is so kind and takes her time to understand exactly what you want. She never makes you feel rushed and explains everything she’s doing step by step. Her attention to detail and care really make the experience special.

Jamie at Ruiz - Seaholm is always amazing! She's incredibly thorough and truly listens to what I want, and this time we tried something a little different. She took her time, made sure I didn’t feel rushed, and the result turned out even better than I imagined! My hair feels fresh and looks fantastic – couldn’t be happier!

Adam did a great job! My first time coming here and I was in and out in about an hour and 15 min. The experience was very luxurious and I love the aveda products they use. Adam was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable about hair and aveda products. I scheduled my next appointment with him. They offer complimentary tea, water, and wine and also scalp & hand massage.

I can't say enough about this Salon! Jason is magical! My cut is so flattering I get compliments everywhere. As soon as you check in you put on a luxurious robe offered a beverage wine relax in comfort. The shampoo is a dreamy relaxing experience. Cute boutique as well.

Gracious staff welcomed us as soon as we walked in by offering refreshments' and giving us a tour. Everyone was friendly and attentive. Upon meeting our stylist Jamie we found her to be attentive and genuinely interested in getting to know us. As my son described his desired style, she combed through his hair to become familiar with the texture, thickness and direction of growth. Additionally, my son said it was the best shampoo and massage he had ever had... and that in fact - a pain he had in had back - had been worked out. Jamie took her time styling my sons hair and did an remarkable job, which is exactly what we were looking for. You can expect to be treated really well while receiving exceptional service.

Had the best experience at Ruiz Salon Seaholm. Got a last minute appointment with Sam over 4th of July weekend. From booking the appointment with the person whose name I didn’t get but he had incredible nails and was super friendly to the colorist, Sam to the complimentary hand massage, this place understands customer service! My hair looks great and everyone I encountered was friendly and informative. Can’t say enough good things about this salon. Highly recommend!

If you love to be pampered and leave with a beautiful cut and blow dry, Ruiz is your place! I went to Ruiz for 2 years before moving states and loved the entire staff and experience. Jamie is amazing and such a fun stylist. I loved chatting with her at every appointment and asking her expertise about what looked best with my face shape. I never had a cut I didn’t love from Jamie, and I always asked about her blow dry techniques because she does such a fantastic job. The salon itself is very nice and has a dark, relaxing room for hair washes. They will treat you with some aromatherapy and hair masks during the hair wash and a complimentary hand massage during the end of your appointment. You can also help yourself to tea, coffee, and wine while you’re there. Loved every visit I had a Ruiz!!

Amazing A plus Aveda salon. Professional, friendly staff in a beautiful environment. I was surprised at how fresh it smells- not like chemicals. Adam gave me an amazing cut and is so sweet. I had a color consult with Greg who was fantastic- so nice and very thorough and knowledgeable. I currently have henna on my hair and he created a great plan for transitioning me back to color. I have a sensitive scalp and the plan takes that into consideration. Wonderful free hand massage while getting my hair cut. And I love the products Adam used in my hair. All around excellent!

I have been at both locations. I had some trouble with color work with a stylist at the Seaholm location but what people need to know is my experience at the North Lamar location. Sasha melted my hair off at the root during my bleach and tone and I’ve been left on read by the salon and the stylist doesn’t text back. I was told she is the second best stylist at the salon with 10 years of experience at this location. If you care about your hair, know they don’t stand by their work.

What a great salon experience. From the initial walkthrough of the facility, to the relaxing washroom area (separate from the color & cut floor) and the refreshments - my time at this location has been thoroughly enjoyed! I saw Sam for a toner and will be coming back for more services in the future. Not to mention, as a first time client, you receive a free blow dry credit as well as a credit towards a future haircut. Great value and great vibe overall.

Jamie did an amazing job with my haircut!! She perfectly executed the long and bouncy layers I wanted and was so knowledgeable. Jamie also gives an incredible blowout, maybe the best I’ve ever had! She helped me figure out a plan for my dry scalp, recommended products and routines to best manage it! The salon and the experience here is super luxurious and for a really reasonable price. Highly recommend if you’re searching for a salon!
