Well it's been a day since I got my haircut and the stylist was very wrong in saying once I get home that I would probably like it a lot more after playing with and styling it a little. Since I work in a hospitality and also work for tips I held my composure, I was nice, and still way over tipped I'm sure (a lil over 60%), but don't think I will be going back there to her again. I will be also looking elsewhere and asking for recommendations to get it fixed.. That is whenever I can make the time to do so since I am a single mother and work full-time. I only made the time since it was my birthday.. That or maybe have my 10year old give it a try. Lol. However the young lady was funny and very sweet and we did have a good laugh earlier in the session when I told her I felt like she was giving me a bowl cut. I should have seen the red flag.. oh well you live and learn.. I also recall her asking me why I would drive so far for a haircut since I live in Norfolk, about 45 minutes away. And honestly if I believe someone can do a good job and I'll be happy with the finished project I have no problem traveling the distance and paying whatever is required along with taking extra care of the person giving out the service... Sadly this was not the case..

Ive been going here for almost 2 years and have never been disappointed. The front staff is so nice and always are accommodating. I see Caitlin and she never disappoints! Would recommend this place a 1000 times!!

The ladies here can work miracles! I had one hairstylist totally botch my hair and I went here and although I was sad about how short my hair had to become to fix another hair stylists horrible error in my hair, I've gotten compliments from everyone. They did an amazing job with what they had to work with. I've worked with Lauren (who fixed my hair) and Caitlyn and I recommend both women.

Caitlin was wonderful! We had good conversation while she did my hair. She asked what I wanted and I told her long layers but let her do what she wanted. I'm happy about it. Will come back!

I went to this salon for about 12-18 months, loved it and my stylist. The staff is awesome, the salon is great, and I loved my hair color. I am giving one star because I moved out of state and I’ve been to 3 different colorists trying to match the color. We just can’t seem to get it. When I called the salon to ask for my color formula they refused to give it to me. Why on earth does it have to be kept secret when I moved across the country!?

I’ve been going to rumors for almost 15 years now, ever since I got my hair done there for my parents wedding. I have gotten formal updos, regular cuts, makeup, brow wax, and even my nails done. It is a great spot to go for all of the services I just listed! Beth is amazing!!

i have had super long hair my entire life and today i decided ive had enough of the same bun and ponytail hairdo. i seen Lauren and she did awesome. i was super nervous about cutting all my hair off. she gave me pointers on how she was guna cut that worked with my work/life style. i let her do her thing based off what i wanted and im super pleased with the outcome. the price was super fair as well. i will definately be going back

Don’t waste your time or hard earned money here. My recent experience was a train wreck. They messed up a patch of color on the top of my head and spent three hours trying to fix it. Finally, they gave up and told me it looked ‘great.’ My scalp was burning from their chemicals and they refused to tell me what chemicals they had used. Oh...and they still charged $189 for this terrible experience. I asked them to have the owner call me and i received no call. I won’t be going back!

Unruly Curley Hair has always been my problem. I found Cameron two years ago and now I have tamable beautiful curls. What I love about Rumors is the customer service. Everyone there makes you feel at home for the time your being pampered. Cameron enjoys giving you extra time to make you look beautiful.

My recent experience at this salon was terrible. I had asked for highlights and they were barely visible after the first attempt. I went back so they could fix it and left the salon with orange hair. I then called several times to speak with the salon owner, and have yet to get a call from her. Extremely overpriced and customer service is really lacking. Do not waste your money at this salon!!!

Yesterday the Stylist at rumours did the Catherine Kammer (now Reidenbach) wedding party. Everyone looked sooo Beautiful!! These are talented stylists and recommend them highly. Thank you sooo much ladies❤❤

My worst experience at a salon ever! Overpriced and not worth it! Was very unhappy with my highlights that I received there so I had another salon fix it. Try Twist Salon at Redmill Commons. Will leave you much happier with your hair :)
