Good prices but you get what you pay for… paid extra for the amenities access but there were a ton of screaming kids and they played loud music (not a relaxing environment as you’re about to go in the spa). Massages and facials we received were inconsistent in quality, some were good, okay, and not worth it. Would not book again.

Calming & soothing spa experience. Check out their monthly specials! They have a nice selection of spa products. :) Groupon deals are good -- facial, massage or combo. Plan to arrive 15 minutes early. Check in to the left ... at end of the registration desk. Spa is thru the glass doors & down the stairs. Head to the lounge to relax while waiting for your service. Massage was wondrfull -- recommend CBD oil & deep tissue add-on. Heated massage bed, aromatherapy & other options available. Facial was calming & relaxing -- recommend enzyme mask add-on.

The front desk girl greeted me warmly and was attentive and kind. Sharon my masseuse was amazing and did a wonderful job on the massage. She was sweet and accommodating. The massage was so needed and given to me as a bday gift. I’d go back!

It was a great first massage experience

Great massage and facial!

I was there a month ago with two girlfriends and I just had to come back and post a review about our wonderful experience. My therapist (Sorry, I forgot her name) gave me one of the best massages of my life. I don’t think it matters who you get, my friends had different therapists and we all raved about our experiences. We knew we were in the hands of real pros. Additionally, the woman at the desk who checked us out, was so incredibly nice. She had already rung up my tab, and I remembered I had a gift card in my wallet. She did the transaction all over again, with a smile and a “no problem.” You can spend more money and get more glitz, but you will not get a better massage and service anywhere.

I booked a massage and facial with time in between to relax by the resort’s pool and swim for a full spa day experience ✨ I felt like a princess 👑 I paid using a Groupon that was given to me for my birthday and they didn’t treat me any less for it. They treated me with care and respect, with a focus on relaxation and well-being. The facilities were clean and serene, beautifully decorated. As a patron of the spa I enjoyed all of the resorts amenities. My massage therapist even gave me helpful exercises to do during a regular workday to avoid my shoulders from getting too stiff and tight The woman who did my facial gave me some excellent advice about what type of make up cleansing bomb to use on my face. The best part is, she wasn’t trying to sell me on any high-end products. Rather, she suggested something I can get at Target. I will say the spa was a much different experience than the pool area. There was nothing wrong with the pool area, but it was more family oriented and had a different vibe so if you’re looking to just use the spa, don’t judge it by the look of the resort.

Best spa experience!

Giving 5 stars for value. Amazing 50 min massage and 50 min facial combo for only $189. The massage was very relaxing and the room was peaceful, quiet, comfortable and clean. But the highlight was my facial by Ashley. She was super knowledgeable, soothing and friendly. Book with her! Everything in the spa itself was great (locker room and lounge waiting room were nice) but wish the pool area was nicer. Overall nice experience but don’t expect a resort, 5 star spa.

I did a mom and daughter day at this spa and resort and they really took care of us! We loved the set up with the pool and the therapists we had were so great! Speaking for my mom and I, we had wonderful facials and massages done by Rueban, Lillian, Sharon, and Ashley. All were wonderful people too!

I highly recommend working with Lillian for a facial at Running Water Spa. She is extremely knowledgeable and tailored my facial to my skin needs. Lizzie, spa coordinator, also makes it a breeze to get in!

I took my mom here for a Mother's Day treat. We both got massages and facials. Both were wonderful and the deal we got on Groupon was well worth it. We may return to the spa again, only the spa. Our spa day came with use of the resort facilities. The pool area was very disappointing. No shade, except over the kids wading pool. Nobody that lives in Arizona wants to bake away in the sun in 100 degrees. The shuffle board table had no sand, the other activities were disappointing as well. No place to eat breakfast. We ended up leaving to eat. Disappointing after planning to spend the whole day there. The spa area and staff were wonderful. Outside that, we ran into run down facilities, unfriendly staff and many staff that didn't speak English while trying to find the meditation labyrinth. The "resort" felt more like a community pool in Tempe than a resort in Scottsdale.

I went for a facial and massage. Both were excellent! I didn't spend any time checking out anything else at the resort.

Loved my experience here! Had a Groupon but will definitely be back with or without one in the future. The 80min massage with Crichton was wonderful, and my facial with Lillian was my first ever and it was great!!!! I wasn’t thrilled about extraction so she talked me through some other options and made sure I understood and was comfortable with every single thing. The whole experience was a great one, both women were excellent, and I will definitely be back

My friend and I booked a spa day here a couple of weeks ago. First I want to say that I very much enjoyed the massage, and the facial. The reason why I am only giving four stars is because of the experience we had in the waiting area. After you check in, you go and get into a nice comfortable robe, lock your items up and then are directed to go into a waiting area. The waiting area itself was nice and calming however there was a gentleman in the waiting area that was fully clothed and with a phone. He perhaps could've been waiting for his wife however, I don't think that he should have been in the waiting area with the rest of the patrons, pretty much fully undressed under a robe. It made that part of the waiting uncomfortable. With today's technology, who knows what he could have been using his phone for. (Font, pics?) As I said, he could've been a guest at the hotel and his wife was getting a massage and facial as well. They should have a separate seating area for people who are not getting services. Other than that I would recommend

There are so many resorts with beautiful spas in the Scottsdale/paradise Valley area. Unfortunately, this one lacks in many ways. Unless you purchase a Groupon you can expect to pay between $150-$180 for a service. This is what I pay at a spa full of actual amenities. There’s no spa here. It’s a waiting room with a couple closets to change in. No exaggeration, it’s a big room with a couple changing rooms, a few lockers and some chairs. There’s no indoor jacuzzi, steam room, sauna, showers, spa attendants or privacy. Also the treatment rooms are inside the waiting room so you can’t talk with your friends without disrupting someone getting their massage or facial. I can’t even remember if my services were good because I was distracted by the noise in the waiting room. If they invested some money in the spa they could make it magical but right now it’s meh at best.

Two weeks ago, I had the worst experience with this hotel and spa that I have ever had in my entire life.  The absolute worst.  I live here in Phoenix and my sister and I were looking for a place where we could get a massage, lunch, and some drinks at the pool.  Scottsdale Camelback Resort was not that place.  First of all, the term "Resort" is a misnomer, because this place is far far from resort quality.  We had called ahead the day before and asked if we were allowed to use the hotel gym before our 11 AM appointments and we were told that was fine.  Despite this, the woman at the front desk was completely caught off guard and totally frazzled that we were there.  She kept muttering about how early we were.  All we needed was a locker to stash our stuff--it should not have been that big of a deal, especially since we asked first.  Since there is a restaurant on site (allegedly), we asked if it was open and we could grab a coffee.  Nope.  Nothing open before noon.  Ok fine--stupid but fine.  The massages were 50/50.  My actual massage was great and someone should let my massage therapist know that he can do much better than this dump.  My sister was unfortunately put in a massage room next to the bathroom.  Being able to hear bathroom conversations and toilets flushing is not really a "resort" spa experience!  We tried to speak with the spa manager about this issue and there was literally nothing in the world she could have cared about less than our experience there.  We were told that everyone complains about that room and management just does not do anything about it. After the massages, we thought we would grab lunch at the restaurant that should be open and use the pool.  We went to the restaurant and were informed that they could not take cash or credit cards and could ONLY do room charges.  But we were not staying at the hotel, so there was no possibility for food or drink.  At that point, we decided to cut our losses and go somewhere else.  When we tried to check out, we got a whole new set of issues. I had a gift certificate, my sister did not.  You would have thought we were asking these people to solve differential equations.  I have actually never seen incompetence of this level.  No one could work the computer system and no one could properly ring up two massages, one paid for with credit card and the other paid for with gift certificate.  The front desk woman charged us double and struggled to understand that.  The manager would stop by and help for a second and then wander off (because again, this lady just does not give a flying F about anyone setting foot in this spa).  Finally, she says to us, "you better sit down, because this will be a while."  We finally went to the front desk and spoke with the hotel manager, Erin.  While she seemed understanding and polite at the time, she was not able to resolve anything.  She told us that we could go and she would take care of the charges.  We were not surprised that she did not do this.  My sister was charged approximately double and had to dispute the charges with her bank to get her money back.  No follow-up call from the general manager.  No apology. It was literally the worst and I have been to most of the actual resorts in the area.  You can go to a real resort, even the Phoenician right down the street, get a massage in the same general price range, and deal with people who can do simple things like....oh I don't know....math or even basic customer service.

Great services and staff! Time at the pool between services is the perfect mix!

I had a massage and facial and they were both amazing I am definitely returning for both. The waiting room was extremely relaxing and put you in a mood to be pampered.

One of the best massages I have ever had !!!

Feb 05, 2023

Relaxing and clean facility. Enjoyed my visit! Would return.

Feb 05, 2023

So relaxing right from the minute you walk in. The facial was amazing!!

Feb 05, 2023

Bought the Groupon and the place was awsome for women not so for men. My husband didn't enjoy his services he asked for medium pressure during His massage and therapist did not do that she barely put any pressure There is a woman's locker room that comes with showers and the lockers, the men have no locker room and they have to shower in a whole separate area which is inconvenient and weird. Would not be returning even if I had a Groupon. Top everything off when trying to relax between services we got to sit in the relaxation room and that whole time the lady was walking between and in and out of rooms slamming the doors closed and making alot if noise, was not relaxed at all. Tried to enjoy the hot tub but they were working outside and made our experience awkward.

Fantastic spa massage and staff Will be back

Great facial. Relaxing atmosphere.

Feb 05, 2023

I had a hiccup with scheduling and a Groupon and this spa was more than accommodating. Clean, great and friendly service. Would 100% recommend for a spa on a budget.

Feb 05, 2023

Quaint spa off Camelback amongst high-end resorts. Had both facial and massage that were good. Facilities are a bit dated but remodeled with new tile and fixtures. Pool, jacuzzi and those types of amenities are on property but not integrated with spa area.

This is a super quant small and quirky spa and resort from, I don’t know, the 80’s? They forever have my business because, as usual I was running late. Walked downstairs and someone already at reception, I thought man I am going to miss 15 minutes of my massage. Receptionist looked up, said “Mollie?” Handed me a locker key, told me to go get changed and sophia would be waiting for me. Omg talk about customer service. No worry about check in, no worry about the info they needed, you’re here, go get your treatment, we’ll take care of that after. The locker room is small and the bathroom is outside it, that took a minute to figure out! There’s a small gym downstairs that looked pretty well equipped for its size and a small pool and hot tub upstairs - the vibe was decidedly adult - thank goodness, no influencers or kids. One complaint - the “grill.” I mean I know it looks like it was built in the 80s but its still serving food from the 80s. Chinese chicken salad, really?! And not a vegan option to be seen. Come on that’s all easy enough to change without renovating the adorable time warp of the space! Impossible burger, Beyond burger, heck I’d take a classic Boca burger! But all in all a lovely spot. Update: how often does an employee walk by, have no need to interact with you, but sees you sitting alone ands asks if you need a water. These ladies are on point!
