She saved my hair and let me feel beautiful again! I came to Rusalina after another hairdresser destroyed my hair. I had really long hair and came asking for layers at the front + curtain bangs. The first picture is what I got - chopped ends and messy bangs. I felt so ugly and insecure about how my hair looks. Then my friend advised me to fix all that in Rusalina’s salon. A beautiful result you can see on second picture ✨ She was so nice, gentle and professional! My hair is partly bleached so it tangles all the time (previous hairdresser was tearing my hair, I even cried), but Rusalina never did a single painful thing. I highly recommend everybody visit this place, it was truly one of the best experiences in my life 🙏🏼💝

I've been getting my hair cut and colored by Rusalina for years, and she's simply amazing! I first started seeing her when I lived in NYC, and even after moving to Miami and later to Seattle, I always make it a point to visit her whenever I'm back in NYC. In fact, during my recent visit after two years away, the first thing I did was book an appointment with her. Her skill, attention to detail, and the way she understands my hair is unmatched. I highly recommend Rusalina to anyone looking for a top-notch stylist in the city!

Rusalina is such a professional technician. She is kind and lively. She also helped me correct my wrong dark hair tone and reverse it into beautiful mousey color. (Which is the closest to my natural hair color but better). She also perfectly understands what I wanted in terms of a blow out and styling. Can’t complain about anything! 10/10

For every girl, hair is the best decoration. Shiny, silky hair will add elegance and well-groomed appearance, but only if it is properly cut and styled. Today, I was in the salon of a professional hairstylist - Rusalina. Oh God.. It’s such comfort and coziness to be there... I have been to many hairstylists in NYC, and I can say with confidence that Rusalina is a very experienced hairdresser, she knows her business, knows all the intricacies and ways out of any situation, can advise and answer all questions about hair care. She is a very pleasant and kind person. She is one of the best craftsmen in New York. For me, and I think for every person, it is important that the master does his work quickly and efficiently, so Rusalina copes with this very well. I was looking for a good hairdresser and after today's experience I can say for sure that I found my master. I found someone about whom I can say: "Oh, yes! I am her regular customer!"

The experience at the hair salon was absolutely fantastic! The stylist did an amazing job toning my hair in black. Not only was she skilled and professional, but she was also incredibly pleasant to talk to. I couldn't be happier with the results and the overall service. Highly recommended!

I’m really fortunate to have Rusalina as my hairdresser. I’ve known her for a long time and every visit to her is as a song of my heart. Her professionalism, her gentle and creative approach always admire me. My hair is definitely more shiny, softer healthier and I love how she always adds something new to my look. I can get an answer on any questions and her advice always works. Her salon is in a fancy neighborhood but prices are affordable. Highly recommended.

My favorite beauty service provider in NY! Rusalina is a brilliant colorist and hair stylist. I was lucky to find her in 2020 and never looked elsewhere again. She always makes my hair look absolutely fabulous and she is a true master at providing advice on choosing specific color and tone to ensure optimal results for your hair texture and length. Obsessed!! I have tried countless stylists and salons in NYC, Paris, and Boston and no one has ever made my hair look so great. I have fine, dry, damaged hair (two decades of highlighting) which never holds a curl. I left with the best color, best cut, and best blow dry I have ever had in my life. Rusalina is so talented, efficient, and a perfectionist. She doesn’t over-process and she obviously understands hair of all kinds and knew exactly what to do with mine. I’m so happy to have finally found my hair stylist for life. Will never go anywhere else. Thank Rusalina!

Rusalina is an amazing hairstylist. This was my second time visiting her from Washington, DC. After a few unsuccessful visits to some of the greatest salons in D.C. to have my hair dyed into the blond colour I wanted, I decided to visit her in NYC since I travel there a few times a month. Her studio is conveniently located not far away from C train 14st stop and is quite lovely. It’s a private space where you can have coffee or pizza while getting the service of your choice. She’s very knowledgeable and gives great advice on how to take care, maintain and style your hair. I was very impressed with the results as I’m a natural brunette, and the shade of blond I wanted is difficult to achieve especially when your hair has been dyed a few times. I was positively pleased both with the results and the customer service. If you’re looking for a great hairstylist in Manhattan then Rusalina is your best choice 👍🏻

Rusalina is the best hair master you can ever imagine! Besides the greatest friendly atmosphere she provides an amazing service. Your hair will look good like never before. I go to her already for 4 years and for this period we did a lot of experiments with my hair and results are always incredible! Also she gives every time good tips how to take care of your hair.
