I am giving a one start due to one person (Monica) . She is the worst hair stylist I have ever met in my life. She has no idea how to deal with natural type 4 hair. which is crazy because that’s the hair she has under her wigs. I went in for a cut to help fix the unevenness in my hair and all she did was make it worst. The OWNER Nubia Rëzo had to step in and fix it. Despite my ratings. The owner really took care of me in that 2 minutes, fixing a mistake her worker Monica caused. Don’t ever let Monica touch your natural hair.

This was my first curly cut and it was the best experience I have ever had with hair. The care everyone took with my hair, it feels so much healthier and I had no idea my curls could curly like that!!! 100% recommend

Literally amazing, customer service was wonderful. They met all of my hair needs and did exactly what I asked for. If you go, i highly recommend Mercedes, she’s absolutely amazing, super sweet and taught me so much about my hair 10/10

Alpha did an amazing job with my hair! I asked for bouncy, more uniform curls and that’s exactly what she gave me. I enjoyed chatting with her and singing along with the music playlist for the day. I’ll be back!

Curly hair cut. Not only did she do the opposite of what I asked. But I reached out to management no reply send pictures and everything. Yes there nice but that’s not enough! Am paying for a service. IVE NEVER HAD THIS ISSUES AT THE NJ LOCATION!

I went in really wanting to love this place. i have had curly hair all my life and never gotten a curly cut before. i planned an entire trip to NYC around this haircut. when i got there, i was rushed past explaining what it was i wanted to do with my hair. the stylist just kept shaking her head yes and immediately went in with the scissors. after contemplating bangs and untimely saying no, just face framing around the sides, she decided to cut them anyway. this was really disappointing but i was trying to trust the process. once the cut was done i was ushered over to the shampoo bowl where she washed and “styled” my hair. not once telling me what she was doing. they say the cut “comes with education” that is completely false. i did not get one ounce of advice from this stylist. i was then diffused for at least 30 minutes all to be extremely disappointed in the final result. the “bangs” she cut, are far too short (above my eyebrows), there is no body or volume in my hair, and overall, just a bad haircut. and for $250, you would think it’d be a LOT better than this. safe to say i will never go back, and never recommend this salon to anyone i know.

The place is very clean, organized and modern looking. There is ample support staff to help the stylists. The services were great and the attention to me as a customer was felt at all touch points, from the welcoming staff to the end result. Very nice salon. Highly recommend it. Tons of top notch stylists on staff who specialize in coily hair - type 4s.

Amber was so sweet and really cares about her clients. She answered all of my questions about the process. She did everything she could to make me feel comfortable trimming my long curly hair. First hair dresser to ever give me a trim without taking way too much off. Thank you Amber :)

Bekah is amazing! Super understanding and listens very well. Also educated me on what my hair needs and wants, truly a great experience. Not only did my hair turn out amazing but I left the salon actually knowing how I can achieve the same look myself at home. Vibes were great! I didn’t get the lady’s name but she made me an amazing tea and offered me coffee as well. Overall 10/10

I really wanted to love this place as others said. However, it was really hard. My stylist Beckah did not look like she was having a good time. I honestly think she didn’t even like the cut she did on me. That was the most upsetting part. You can see it all over her face. I spent the last month having my hair up waiting until it grows to enough length to wear it out again. It’s really sad all of these videos you have on IG do not really reflect the actual atmosphere in that salon. Please save your money and don’t go there.

So the stylist was nice ,The issue is the haircut, I have curly fine hair type 3B/C..I admit my hair wasn’t in the best shape when I came in but that was the whole point to come in and get a specific curly hair cut.The first time I ever got a curly hair cut which isn’t this place, My hair revived so much and it was bouncy ,healthy ,soft and curly.So I naturally expected the same from this place.I know that my hair is the healthiest when it’s cut properly but if you leave all the dead ends of course my hair isn’t going to bounce back..She asked me if I wanted volume or length..I said length but I still assumed she will cut off most of my dead ends and if more needed to be cut she could’ve discussed that with me..At the end of the day ,No one wants to pay$200 for a haircut that’s leaves you with a lot of dead ends and still can’t properly style your hair.Im really disappointed especially after I straightened it,I saw uneven hair everywhere, what kind of layering this person did in my hair I have no idea.You can’t fool someone whose gotten a curly cut before and knows what the actual results are supposed to be like,this is not the full bounce potential of my hair.For only being 3 weeks my hair just doesn’t look healthy because of all the ends that were left and looks like dry hay ,this all could’ve been chopped off to give me healthier looking hair even if I lose more length But atleast healthy..!the last pic you can see how thin my ends are..Like shedding..I would prefer all of that cut off..

i loved the entire experience from the moment i walked in. I was able to speak with one of the stylist and I love how friendly they are. The front desk (I forgot their name sorrry!) was so sweet and kind. I don’t want to chat too much. But Amber and Yeissy made my first time so amazing and comfortable. I walked in doubtful and nervous (and late cause of the trains) and left feeling refreshed, new and faithful. Definitely worth every second, I recommend this to everyone no matter your hair type. They are so diverse ! I can’t wait to go back in 3 months.

I went to this salon the day before a trip to get my clip in extensions blended with my curls. I was referred to Monica, who claimed to be a curly hair expert. She insisted on washing and cutting my natural hair to make it blend, even after I begged her not to cut it too short. Despite her assurances, my hair ended up much shorter than I wanted. Then, after she washed the extension she clipped them in the realized they didn't blend because she never asked if they were real extensions or styled them properly. I left with shorter hair, fried extensions, and had to spend four hours fixing them myself before my flight. I was given a 10% discount but no real apology, and Monica blamed the lack of a consultation. As an "expert," she should've known to ask basic questions about the extensions. This was by far one of the worst experiences I've had at a salon. Waste of money, time and had me hating my hair during my whole vacation. DO NOT COME HERE.

Amazing appointment with Eida( I think I spelled it right lol ) but she gave me so many tips and tricks and listened an understood tjayvi wanted to keep my length but wanted a even trim! I absolutely trust her w my curls! I’ve been wearing my hair out since I came to her! I am normally always in a slick back bun so this is a huge deal for me! Thank you!!

I had THE best experience today. Mia cut my hair. She was so knowledgeable and nice to chat with. I love the cut! Carolina washed my hair. She was such a sweetheart and taught me so many tips and tricks for at home maintenance. Highly recommend!

This was my first curly cut ever, did not know what to expect, but I am SO glad I came in! Dalia took care of me tenderly & heard/understood my needs, what I was going for, & ultimately gave me a redefined look! She explained all of what she was doing step by step, the products used, and what I could do at home to maintain my curls healthy. I love Rëzo Salon! Just came for my second haircut with Monica Seabrook and she’s absolutely phenomenal. Also, huge shoutout to Keeyone for washing, styling, treating, and drying my hair so beautifully! Monica and Keeyone are such a dynamic duo for their stylistic talents, but also for their tips and lessons on best practices for maintenance. They also welcome any questions you may have and don’t make you feel bad for being unsure about some of the most basic things. At Rëzo, the service is truly top-notch, the vibes are always immaculate, and I have always had an outstanding experience with each visit. Being a curly girl, I’ve found it difficult to find stylists in my area that are experienced with my coily hair-type, so it makes traveling an hour into the city very worthwhile since I can entrust my curls to these wonderful, knowledgeable professionals. If you’ve been on the fence about going to Rëzo Salon, believe me- it’s worth it and you’ll love the results.

Im so happy to come back here and see that my original review was removed and that so many others have posted bad reviews about the poor experience they had similar to mine. I too like many others on here traveled from another state for a very disappointing hair cut and was given the excuse of my hair being too short. Save your money please and go elsewhere. This place is not to be trusted. A lot of rude staff including the owner.

Rezo Salon you've captured my curly girl heart! I was in awe seeing so many people who had hair like mine/curls curls curls in one space. Grateful for the experience and each kind person I met in today's visit. Monica, my stylist, is WONDERFUL! I transformed in her chair. My expectations were blown out of the water. Awesome experience! I’ve tried to embrace my curls over the last 10 years but I’ve never had a curly hair professional touch my hair! Ellie is a senior stylist at Rezo and she did a phenomenal job! I’ve never had curls that are this defined, hydrated, and healthy. She started the appointment by asking me what my main goals were ( I wanted to chop off the overly dry, dead part of my hair, wanted it to frame my face, and needed volume). The curl education they provided was incredible with techniques you don’t see on YouTube or other blogging sites. My appointment took about 2 1/2 hours but was totally worth it! Highly recommend! Thank you for such a wonderful experience! Blessings to you all!
