For over 20 years, I looked for a hair stylist who could cut my hair and style it based on the way it wants to fall and lay. From uber-expensive salon stylist in Atlanta to the basic barber, everyone tried to apply "their" canned technique to my hair cut and style it without considering this. When I finally met Sydney, she first asked what I wanted, then helped me to understand what could be done. From that point on, I have only experienced fantastic results with her and never a bad cut to be had. I am to the point with her now where I let her style it any way she likes because she understands it so well. This is not because I am not picky, but conversely because she even more attentive about getting it right. I have never seen such personalized care and attention from another salon specialist in my life. As long as Sydney is in the business, she will be my only choice. If you are on the fence, I highly recommend you give her a try. She is trust-worthy, caring, and invested in her customers. She clearly does what she does because she has a passion for it. And the results reflect this!

Sydney is awesome. I usually go in for a haircut and beard trim, and my cut is always spot on. She’s the first barber I’ve had who shapes my beard exactly how I like it every single time.

Sydney has been cutting my hair for over a year now, at least once or twice a month. They have always been extremely flexible with my requests and have offered great advice when I have no idea what I want to do with my hair. I would highly recommend Sydney to anyone who wants a laid back, relaxing environment with good conversations and even better hair cuts!

Always a great experience getting my haircut here! Sydney is a true artist and cares so much about her clients. Her fades are spot in and I trust her so much that now I just let her do whatever! I especially love the hot towel on my neck, it’s a moment of relaxation that one does not know they need! Would give 10 stars if I could!

Extremely disappointed/unhappy with the haircut I received! Left feeling the job was done okay until I got home and discovered how careless of a haircut I received. Shaven sides aren’t completely clean with spots and patches completely different lengths. Lining around my ears looks messy and was never shown my neckline in the “salon” to find it uneven and not cleaned up when I came home. Long hair has significant strands that were somehow cut to only a few inches long and do not stay in my bun when tied up. Worst of it, specifically asked for my undercut not to be cut up any higher, which was not followed and I hate how it looks now. Also, hair was extremely dried out once getting home. Overall felt the job was done lazy and careless, just pushed in and out. I had to spend 3x the amount of time she had spent, at home cleaning up mistakes I could fix and bringing life back to my hair. If you are particular about your hair find someone else who is more diligent and pays attention to detail. Honestly, one of the worst haircuts I have received in quite a long time.

I'm delighted to work with S Salon because I get to work with a master-level stylist who is kind, friendly, and devoted to their craft. Plus, the salon is quiet and relaxing. I struggled for awhile in Farragut to find someone who I could trust to focus on quality. I'm blessed to work with S Salon now for several months.

I’ve been getting my haircut and beard trimmed by Sydney for a couple of years now. She is great! She is very friendly and always prompt for my appointments. She’s fun to talk to and always does a great job. Her shop is very clean and well stocked and is located conveniently in West Knoxville near many other businesses. I would definitely recommend anyone who needs a guys haircut no matter young or old to definitely book an appointment with her. She offers many other services as well.

26 yo male here who is used to spending $50 on a haircut. But I get mine done for $30 here. Very talented hair stylist who can give you a great haircut even if you have a vague idea of what you would like. Also a great conversationalist if you enjoy having the time fly bye while making yourself look great. 1000% would recommend.

Sydney is amazing! I've never had a better experience getting a haircut. Most places I've gone for a cut (whether in Nashville, Boston, NYC, or wherever) my hair ends up looking okay, but I know it'll look better a few days later. However, when I leave Sydney's salon, my hair is perfect right away. I could go straight to the bar, gala, State of the Union, whatever. She's great to talk to and always recommends excellent products, too.
