I have been going to Sacramento Massage studio for 3 months now. I found out about this place through a friend who's roommate is a massage therapist their, Travis Burleigh. He and I had a chance to connect again at a event and we talked about his practice and I was really intrigued by his thorough knowledge of not just the human anatomy, the kinesthetics behind how the muscles work and play against each other within the body, and also overall his demeanor was very calm which I appreciate in my massage therapists. I am writing this review now because as I said, after going for 3 months, I really appreciated the care I have received from Travis. Every time I go into the studio he greets me by the door, ask how things are going to get a sense of how my day is to see energetically where I'm at, and we discuss the potential problem areas that I would like to focus on for the session. Has said earlier, Travis's calm energy and demeanor is a wonderful add-on to the session. If you would like to chat he will chat with you if you want quiet he will be quiet and just go to work on the spots you talked about. And one big call out, I am an individual that really does love a deeper massage and I explained that to Travis and each time he delivers with the pressure which is something I do need for myself. Overall I am quite happy with the service I get from Travis and the price is pretty reasonable for 1 hour, 110, massage and I say that because I have done at least five other massage studios in the downtown Sacramento area that were roughly close to 150 for an hour. So if you're looking for a new place check out this studio and definitely book Travis.

My expectations have been exceeded at the Sacramento Massage Studio. They've done a great job creating a comfortable, safe, peaceful, clean and inviting environment. I feel at ease and calm the moment I approach the building. I love that my practitioner, Noelle, takes time to assess my needs and to cater our sessions accordingly. She takes into account my direction, and integrates her expertise. If this is your first time seeing a professional, Noelle will ensure you're set up to have a rewarding experience. I leave feeling physically and mentally better. I always book my next appointment before I leave.

Travis is a rare gem. It's not often you find therapists as skilled and knowledgeable. He addressed chronic areas with precision and mastery whilst providing a relaxing experience. Highly recommend. After trying so many places in the area, this studio is now the regular.

GREAT MASSAGE EXPERIENCE(S)! I’ve had a few massages at SMS thus far (I normally see Kat) and I have nothing but positive things to say. The staff are super friendly, professional, and extremely skilled at providing an outstanding massage experience with a setting that is inviting, warm and relaxing. Highly recommended!

Have been going here for about a year and I love it! I tried a few places in Sacramento and Sacramento massage studio is the best by far. I have done deep tissue massage, integrative massage, and prenatal massage. I mostly go to Isaac who is great - he really listens to what I'm looking for and can adjust style, pressure, etc. throughout the massage to make it EXACTLY what I need on any given day. The atmosphere is very relaxing, and the old house it is in is super cute. Highly recommend!

I have been to Sacramento Massage studio a few times now, and I can confidently say all of the massages I’ve had were professional, relaxing, and definitely worthy of rebooking! I have had the pleasure of seeing Noelle, Kat and Kaitlin. All of these massages were professional and the pressure they used was excellent! Kat definitely has amazing flow and knows how to adjust her technique to provide you the most pain relief! She is definitely one i’d recommend to anyone! Kaitlin also has incredible flow and is very professional! I left her session feeling calm and pain free! Thank you both for bringing me calm and comfort! Will definitely book again! Noelle is definitely a gem, she is always very kind and caters to your pain and individual needs! She has great flow and is always a joy to be around! I’ve been coming here several years. The therapists are all very professional and competent. The atmosphere is calming, comfortable, clean, and incredibly relaxing. My current massage therapist (Noelle) is very attentive and thorough. She provides a personalized session with each visit.

Kaitlin did my pregnant girlfriends massage. She was super professional. They make your visit very comfortable. They provide the things that you think you forgot. Highly recommend this place for anyone considering a couples, pregnancy or even a singles message.

I went through a period about 10 years ago of regularly getting massages but fell out of the habit. So I was happy to receive a gift certificate to Sacramento Massage Studio for my birthday. I had a 60 minute session with Isaac which coincided with week I had a painful crick in my neck — and I almost canceled because I wasn’t sure what was causing it and didn’t want to exacerbate it. I’m so glad I didn’t. Isaac asked about the pain and did an amazing and skillful job focusing on my neck, shoulders and back. It was clear he knew exactly what he was doing. I’m thrilled to have found him and want to make this a regular practice again.

I’ve been getting massages off and on for over 20 years. I started seeing Noelle when my regular massage therapist moved. I have been SO HAPPY with Noelle! Been about a year of seeing her every 4-6 weeks. I have scoliosis and multiple health issues. Noelle has been skilled at working on my problem areas. Every massage is different, and incredible. She is one of the absolute best massage therapists that I’ve experienced!

So far I've had the fortune of meeting both Travis and Kat, just recently as December 2024 and October 2024 respectively. Wonderful therapists! I carry and hold a lot of my stress in my neck and shoulders and they both did incredible work. The studio is serene and comfortable. Very clean and homey. A cozy gem I'm so fortunate to have found!

What a gem this place is. I had a 90 minute massage with Travis and it was one of my best ever. I appreciated that he checked in with me a few times on pressure and any other feedback he needed, but didn't chat. There were a few things that were new to me that were divine - like little pressure points on my heels that seemed to make my whole body relax. Highly recommend.

Having enjoyed massages at different places over the years, I can highly recommend Sacramento Massage Studio. Kaitlin is a wonderful and very intuitive massage therapist. I have been going to her for several years, quite regularly. No two massages are exactly alike as she communicates with me to find out what specific areas need extra attention on the day of my appointment. She always finds my extra sore spots even when I am not aware of them at the time! Kaitlin is kind and easy to communicate with and has always made me feel very relaxed after each massage.

Have had lots of much needed therapeutic massages here with many different practitioners and every single one of them has been fantastic. In particular, if you are looking for a deep tissue or trigger point type of massage, I highly recommend Isaac. He is one of the best therapists I've ever encountered for this type of treatment, and is extraordinarily perceptive, strong and knowledgeable about how to approach chronic pain and injuries. I had a 60 min massage with Travis for my back pain and I left feeling relieved, relaxed, and ready to nap after it was over! I appreciated the attention and intention that was put into my session. Travis made me feel comfortable and consulted with me before the massage. Loved the aromatherapy, amenities, and clean energy and environment. It was super sanitary, calming, and quiet. I recommend.

This is a very well-run massage studio by all appearances - clean, calming ambience and lighting, very quiet (save for the occasional stray loud car motor that slips in) and massage therapists who welcome and listen to their clients and prioritizing getting to know their clients' bodies and unique pains and areas of tension in order to provide the best care. The therapists also appear to like working here and supporting one another. No drama, no hassle. My emails to the studio inquiring about potential open appointments have always been promptly and kindly responded to. The offer of tea after the massage is a nice bonus. I always leave feeling great. Hesitate to name my go-to because I don't want her booked up anymore than she already is, but she deserves the recognition - so here's a nod to Julie. I also greatly enjoy Jeannine's relaxing massages. Very different massages, both very rewarding.

If you're looking for a skilled and professional massage therapist, this is the place to go. Travis was knowledgeable and his manual skills were spot on. He listened to my needs and made sure to check in on how I was doing throughout. I highly recommend this studio for your next massage. The atmosphere is relaxing and inviting. Even the bathroom is aesthetically pleasing with amenities such as mouth wash and hair style creams. I was given a hot tea to-go afterwards as well. Very enjoyable experience.

Kat is the absolute best. She’s smart, kind, and does a great job working on my STIFF neck and upper back without leaving me feeling beat up. She picks up on cues if you need to relax and not talk. But if you’re a chatty Kathy like me, she’s a lovely and interesting person. She’s truly a gem and I’m so glad I found her. She’s also given me stretches to do on flights and road trips to not completely undo a massage. Her 90 minute massages are a highlight for me every month! If you’re looking for someone who is smart, friendly, and a wonderful listener, Kat is the answer!

I was gifted a prenatal massage and booked right away at 33 weeks pregnant. Jeannine was the absolute best! She is highly trained (30+ years of experience), professional, and calming. As a first time mom, I felt so comforted and at ease the moment I walked in. The ambiance is extremely relaxing and the space is very clean. All my pregnancy aches were completely lifted, I almost cried. I can’t wait to book another session. This may be redundant, due to the vast amounts of amazing reviews, but I highly recommend coming here!

A wonderful experience from the beautiful building to the thick, cushioned face rest, to the masseuse. Jill explained everything including cupping and soliciting feedback on the pressure, if I had any pain etc. The muscle pain, tightness, knots were gone by the time I left. Great massage.

I schedule deep tissue massages here after ultramarathons. I did a 90-min massage with Isaac after competing in a 50-mile race. My quad was injured and full of knots. It hurt to put any pressure on it. I woke up today after the massage and it feels completely back to normal. I’m amazed. Thank you!

Make an appointment three weeks in advance because this massage parlor has 5 star reviews. Unfortunately, my massage disappointed me. I told the masseur I needed a deep tissue massage. She tried, but her massage just feel like hurt my skin. I feel like I've wasted my time and money. There is nothing wrong.She did her best. But the massage technique is really bad. I will not come back anymore.

What's not to love? The offices are beautiful & cozy, and you feel right at home as soon as you walk in. I have had massages from Zach & Joshua, and both of them are skilled professionals. You can tell they really get what the massage experience should be, checking in just enough to make sure the pressure is good, etc. but not so much that you can't just drift off and enjoy your massage. Perfection!
