I followed Tessah from her last salon to this location because she is the best! I have had issues with stylists seeming afraid to cut my hair as short as I wanted it in the past, but Tessah always listens carefully and manages to transform what I want into something EVEN BETTER than I was picturing in my mind. I kind of rolled my eyes and thought, "yeah, yeah, yeah," when she was explaining the product lines to me, but this is the first time in 10+ years of having my hair bleached that my hair has felt silky smooth like cornsilk and not straw and felt incredibly healthy afterwards. The salon is cute and uncluttered, and easily accessible by car or the Max.

Vanessa was super friendly and communicative, she listened to what I wanted and gave me exactly that! I love that they're vegan, I love my new haircut. I'm incredibly happy with the whole experience, definitely will be back.

I cannot say enough good things about Sacred Moon! I’ve always felt incredibly safe and comfortable here with covid precautions and everyone here is so welcoming. Madison is always so kind and she has brought my brows into great shape. Would recommend to anyone!

My hair had gotten SO LONG, and Vanessa did a wonderful job. Always relaxing to go in for an appointment, and the quality of service plus the attention to sustainability and the environment can’t be beat. Plus my hair looks fabulous! Highly recommend.

The man that assisted was short and rude with requirements on vaccination card but still allowed service. He was insulting to the damaged hair and said to just chop it all off. Didn’t listen when asked not to have hair brushed while wet.. ripped out the thickness of hair and repeatedly hit scalp with a metal brush. Completely unprofessional and displeased with how the service went. All negative reviews gets deleted from here.. posting to share a bad experience :(

This is a lovely salon and Vanessa is fantastic. The energy is great and I love that the salon is vegan. She took the time to find out what I wanted and gave me a beautiful haircut. I will be back!

Vanessa worked wonders on my curly hair! It used to be really dry and frizzy, and would break off very easily, but she has shown me how to manage my curly hair and just how much moisture it really needs! Thank you for the transformation! (I don't have any before pictures or I would post!)

I had my first facial done at Sacred Moon and Madison did SUCH an amazing job! The service was incredible, she gave great advice for my millions of skin questions and made me feel safe and taken care of given the covid restrictions. Highly recommend booking her for your facial needs!!!

I received the most amazing hair cut from Vanessa! I have extremely thick, long, wavy hair. I had been hesitant to get a cut because in the past I've been to salons where they did not know how to handle very thick hair and I've ended up with many a Christmas Tree Cut (my fellow thick-haired humans known about this I'm sure). That was so not the case with Vanessa! From the moment I walked into the building I felt comfortable. I've never had a hair cut like this and it's amazing...highly recommend seeing Vanessa, especially if you have thick hair!

I saw Vanessa last week for my first prenatal massage. She is exceptional—truly! If you're on the fence, go see her. You will not be disappointed. Also, I felt very safe with all of their Covid regulations in place. 10/10!

Vanessa has the best hands in Portland. Her massage is super intuitive and super powerful. She can sense where the pressure is good and when to back off. It's like she has a 6th sense for massage. I was literally blown away by my massage today and its power has rippled through the rest of my day. So good. Soooo Sooo good!

Had my hair dyed and cut by Kirby, also went to Tawny for a brow wax and an eyelash lift and tint- every service was great, happy to have found a salon home in Portland. I felt like both really listened to my input, my hair feels really healthy and my eyelashes look like I'm wearing makeup but I'm not!

Sacred Moon is great! A clean, cute and relaxing salon environment. Always love getting waxed by Madison. The fact that they use vegan wax in a 100% cruelty-free salon is also ideal.
