I followed Kari here about two years ago. She is amazing and always listens to my preferences and styles my hair beautifully!!!! I have also had my hair done by Kitty, Ant and Savannah and all were amazing! I really think you could go to anyone here and have a wonderful experience. Truly won't go to any other salon in Philly, reasonably priced, wonderful service and amazing vibes always. I recommend everyone to go here..!

I followed my stylist, Kitty, to this salon. I really like the atmosphere of this place. It's light and airy, welcoming, and it seems like everyone gets along. If you couldn't tell from the fact that I followed someone to this location, let me say that I love the way Kitty cuts my hair. At my first appointment, she was super thorough in the discussion about how I liked my hair cut. Since then she's nailed it every time! Couldn't be happier at this location and I love that they use Davines products because my hair smells amazing after I leave every single time. I highly recommend this place!

Shout out to Jesse who always gives me a great cut and color. I've learned to be very detailed about what I want because she will do EXACTLY what I ask for, it's wonderful. She's really sweet and cares about my hair. I always get the best haircut, thank you Jesse!

The day after a cut is when you can really see what's going on. Jess gave me the best cut, hands down. She used scissors because I'm not a fan of razor cuts, and the layering detail and texture is 100%. Also the salon is a nice experience. Highly recommend.

Edit: I’m also impressed with Ant!! I’ve gotten a few cuts from him now and he’s super talented. I’m so glad to have another stylist at Sage who can cut my thick hair! I loved visiting Savannah and Wendy’s studio for a cut and color! There’s so much space and light and it’s in a great convenient location. I’ve been going to Savannah for years at different salons and she’s very talented— she listens to you and is also realistic with styles and color based on how often you get your hair done. I definitely recommend!

I've been seeing Ant for several years, and followed him from a previous salon! He is the BEST! My hair has never been healthier and I attribute it all to him! Ant makes sure he understands all of my wants and needs and executes it perfectly every time. Highly recommend!

I’ve been getting my hair cut by Jessie for years and she never disappoints! Detail-oriented and creative, she always takes her time to give me the best cut for my facial shape. She always makes me feel comfortable in the chair and even better when I leave after a blow out 💇‍♀️ 10/10 recommend Jessie!

This will be my permanent salon. I went in having a very traumatic experience at a different salon and left with more confidence and felt beautiful again and no longer afraid of salons. Jess is the best and fixed my terrible cut and was the sweetest. I already can’t wait to come back. Everyone I interacted with was so sweet. I definitely recommend coming here. Such a warm and welcoming environment.

Got my second haircut from Ant today and had an amazing time! I was curious about bangs and he talked through it with me as well as what I did/didn't like about my hair precut. We started with an intro to bangs and talked about growing my hair out and possibly doing color in the future too! We also tested hairstyle I usually wear to make sure I felt comfortable in my new cut! I love my hair cut and so I'm so fortunate to have met Anthony! I highly recommend making an appointment with him!

I see Jessi and absolutely love her. I am a nervous person when it comes to my hair due to past experiences so I don’t take finding and staying with a stylist lightly. Never once regretted my decision as she is knowledgeable, patient, and talented. I have long thick hair that isn’t easy to manage (and I have a high maintenance hair style) but she always gets me together! Cares for my hair health and my hair goals equally. Highly recommend.

My go to salon for all hair needs ! They’ve created a wonderful chill environment. I’ve been seeing Abigail for over a year now and we’ve done it all from hair dye, hair cuts, and extensions, and I leave happy every time. I would deff recommend if you need a new salon!!

I have a story to exemplify just how awesome Kitty (and Sage Hair Collective) is— I had my hair done a week before I was leaving for my destination wedding (at a different salon) and it didn’t look how I wanted it to—it didn’t look natural at all—the stylist at the other salon said it would take more sessions to achieve the look I wanted, even though this wasn’t communicated to me before. Feeling crazy, I went on reddit to ask r/hair what to do. A very helpful color specialist replied that I could achieve the look and asked where I lived so she could provide recommendations. I told her Philly and she replied “OMG thats where I am!” So I DM’d her and she squeezed me in the next day. In only two hours, she made my hair look blended, natural, and beautiful. It was Kitty! She is a genius and the nicest human. I highly recommend her for color and I will most definitely be going back. Thank you, Kitty!!!!! I am so grateful!

Anthony has completely transformed my hair - I could not recommend him enough! He creates a perfect dimensional blonde that feels healthy and fresh. When I first came to him 3 years ago, my hair was beyond damaged from being bleached over and over again. He has made my hair the longest and healthiest it's ever been. I can go months between appointments because he places color to blend with my natural hair for a stunning, lived-in look. Ant is truly a master at his craft. The salon itself is welcoming with the cutest decor and plants. Location is great - walkable and has such easy access to public transportation!

I've been going to Savannah for two years now and she's transformed my hair! Sage Hair Collective is amazing! It took me a while to find someone to trust with my curls in Philly. Once I found Wendy I knew I couldn’t leave her! Wendy has helped me try new fun things with my hair - growing it longer, experimenting with color glosses, and even the occasional blow out. All while keeping my hair super healthy and easy to maintain between cuts! Sage Hair Collective is a beautiful, bright, and cozy space. I can’t recommend them enough!

This is the absolute best salon experience I have ever had! I booked with Wendy as I am just starting my curly hair journey for a custom curl cut and consult and WOW!! Wendy spent an hour and a half with me discussing my hair journey, making recommendations without pressure, taking her time cutting my hair carefully (which is very important to me as someone who has had bad cuts on top of hair loss struggles) and styling it all while educating me on what she was doing and why so I could both understand and replicate the results myself. The salon itself is so warm and inviting - they showcase local art all over the walls and the lighting, floor length gold mirrors and lots of plants make it a spa-like experience. I felt so relaxed and so excited as Wendy gave me reassurance on maintaining my curls and made wonderful conversation with me. Wendy did not try to push any products on me to buy from the salon and actually gave me some samples of some of the products she used on me after we finished the service so I could try before I buy. This salon is very focused on sustainability and Wendy said she didn’t want me to buy full sized things just for them to end up in the “product graveyard” as she called it and I really appreciated her commitment to honesty and transparency in her services. I am absolutely obsessed with my new curly cut and sooo looking forward to continuing my journey with Wendy at Sage Hair Collective!! Thank you Wendy for a lovely evening and the PERFECT haircut ❤️

This place is awesome - the vibe is relaxing and comfortable. Ant does an INCREDIBLE job with my blonde color. Truly an art. His haircut and blowout always is exactly what I want! Totally would recommend this salon to anyone.
