Recently got my hair done at Sahara for the first time and Lexi and Brooke were so great. Lexi did my haircut and partial highlight and she listened to exactly what I wanted and I love my haircut! I highly recommend them and will be going back!

Just recently visited for the first time and Lexi gave me a trim with long layers and curtain bangs (I’m very attached to my long hair) that I was so happy with. Brook and Lexi are super sweet, hospitable, and professional. I’ll definitely keep booking all my future hair appointments with them.

I don’t think I’ve ever left a review before but I needed to rave about how amazing Sahara Salons is!! I have never had a consistent hair stylist before and I am so beyond happy I found one with Lexi:) every time I go I get exactly what I ask for and an amazing time with both Lexi & Brooke. 20/10 recommend!!!

Needed a salon closer to where I lived. My friend recommended Brooke. She had a great experience with her. She and Lexi are both great to talk to and Brooke listened to what I wanted in terms of a haircut. I can’t stand when you ask for a certain amount and the hairdresser takes off way more. She did the perfect amount, I even posted it on my Instagram story the first time I went to her and got so many compliments. Definitely my go to moving forward and have since recommended her to friends. She did a great job!

Awesome experience at Sahara Salon! I had Lexi who was extremely personable and engaged in finding out what style and cut I wanted to go with during my visit. The friendly and encouraging atmosphere that Lexi and and her Co-Owner Brooke provide is a 10/10, only thing I wish was Lexi wouldn't talk so much about Michigan Football... Other than that I would absolutely recommend Sahara Salon and I will definitely be a returning customer. Thanks again for everything Lexi!

Brooke is AMAZING! I was looking for a new hair stylist in Charlotte after some bad experiences and I did a lot of research before finding Brooke and Sahara Salon. Brooke has been so sweet and easy to talk to from reaching out to her on Instagram to sitting in her salon chair and talking to her for hours. She did such an amazing job and I can’t wait to be a long time client of hers! I would highly recommend Brooke!!

I'm super late to writing this review but Lexi deserves more than 5 stars! After Lexi did my hair, a girl stopped me in Trader Joes, letting me know my hair was stunning. (Compliments from a stranger at the Charlotte Trader Joes? That's how you know your hair looked good) She did such a good job and I am so excited to see her again in December!!

Sahara Salon is great! I’ve had my hair done by both Lexi and Brooke and both of them are rockstars. It’s a very comfortable and relaxing environment. Perfectly affordable for the Charlotte area as well. Highly recommend them!

I had my hair cut & colored by Lexi and I highly recommend her! I was looking for a new hair stylist so I reached out to a blonde friend with great color. She recommended Lexi and I’m so glad she did. I trusted her expertise to get me blonder but blended enough to be low maintenance and she nailed it. I’ll be going back!

Lexi made my vision come to life!! I went from balayage with being pretty blond on my ends to an off over brond (beautiful honey brown Carmel color) for the fall/winter. She gave me great dimension and my hair feels thicker than ever. My next appointment is already booked and I’m so thankful that my search for the perfect hair stylist is over!!! Bless😇

About a year ago my barber I went to for the past 12 years moved and I needed someone new to go to and let me tell you I found the perfect spot! Lexi has been wonderful through and through, is always fun to talk to, easy to work with, and delivers every time! Highly recommend

I came to this salon after my other stylist became too busy, and I fell in love. Brooke colors my roots and she is always so friendly and gets my hair color perfect each time. Brooke and Lexi also both have very reasonable prices for their quality of services which is something I can very much appreciate.

I was able to get an appointment set up with Brooke soon after I had a terrible experience at another salon. A friend of mine is a regular customer of hers and recommended I go to Brooke. I was convinced my hair was unfixable but Brooke knew exactly what needed to be done! She was able to make my hair look so much better without having to change too much or cut a lot of hair. Shes extremely personable and really cared about the outcome of my haircut, made sure i was happy with it, and kept me updated with what she was doing throughout the whole process to make sure I was comfortable with everything. She spent as much time on my hair as was necessary to get it to a point that I was happy. We had great conversation and in the end I was so much happier about my hair than when I walked in! She also provides complimentary bang trims which is amazing since I don’t always need a full haircut. The price of my haircut and wash was extremely reasonable for everything that was done and I would recommend Brooke to anyone! She has turned me into a regular customer!

Sahara Salon is great! I didn’t know what I really wanted and Lexi guided me in the right direction and I love my hair again! The conversations with her and Brooke were so fun and welcoming, I felt like I was talking to friends. Definitely go there if you are looking for a new stylist or just moved to the city!!!!

I moved to Charlotte a couple months ago and have been going to Lexi. She is absolutely amazing and has helped my hair on every level, from blonde to brown. The environments super relaxing and I love how they’re able to cater to after work hours. I cannot recommend enough!

I had an appointment with Lexi to do a blonding service after having my hair previously glossed and toned darker. The most important thing to me is going blonde while also maintaining the health and integrity of my hair. Lexi and I had a consult where we talked about what I have previously done with my hair and the look I was going for. She did such an amazing job, I am so happy with the results especially with existing color in my hair. Even after using bleach to lighten my hair still feels so strong and soft. It is exactly what I imagined when going in for the service and I made another appointment for a haircut and to touch up the blonde before leaving! Can’t wait to be back :)

Not only are Brooke and Lexi a hoot, but they are so talented at what they do. I've referred multiple friends to Lexi and see Brooke myself and have never been met with anything but excellent results. They take the time to understand what you're looking for and deliver very efficiently. I'd recommend Sahara Salon to anyone looking for a hair dresser in Charlotte!

Brooke is great! I have been going to her for cut and roots color since moving to Charlotte about a year and a half ago. I wanted to add dimension to my single color hair but hated the maintenance required by highlights. Brooke suggested Balayage as it doesn’t require nearly as much upkeep and I love it! I highly recommend Brooke for all your hair care needs!

She was so friendly, easy to chat with, and actually listened to me and discussed what I wanted before she got started. I left with my hair looking exactly as I was imagining it. Lexi does beautiful hair! I’m naturally very pale and have dark brown hair. I wanted it lighted but not quite blonde to help with my complexion but still be low maintenance because I travel so much for work. She does an amazing job giving me that perfect light brown color that’s easy to grow out, but makes me look tan. I get so many complements at how well blended it is every time I go. She also knows I’m trying to grow my hair out and doesn’t pressure me to cut it for no reason.
