I’ve had wonderful experiences at Salli B. I’ve gone to both Salli and Crispin for haircuts and glosses, and I’ve always been pleased with the results. I especially appreciate the advice they’ve been able to give me as I grow out bleached hair and transition back to my natural color.

Great salon! Shaniqua is a super star. I’ve been going to her for my color since 2020. My blonde is tough to maintain and she always brings it to life and makes it last. She’s great to work with, uses excellent products, and knows the best color techniques. A master colorist. Highly recommend!

I always go to Salli B Salon every time I need a haircut (everyone in my family does actually). I think it’s been about three years now? I have a usual style that Salli knows very well and does it perfectly every time. There have been times when I felt like switching it up and getting something a bit different, and when I felt like going right back to the basics Salli was right there. She is so friendly an nice, everyone in the salon is! This salon deserves a lot of attention for the service it provides and the hairstyles customers leave with. I LOVE THIS PLACE🩷🩷

Last Sunday at 4pm I realized I had two big events this week and my hair was NOT ready. I searched for a local salon and called Salli B to see if they had last minute availability before they closed at 6pm. Salli picked up and really listened to me, even asked for a quick text of inspo pics to send the stylist who was working to make sure she was comfortable cutting the shag I wanted. Shaniqua ended up giving me the best haircut I’ve had in a long time. She really listened to me and went for it. She noticed the quirks of my head of hair and worked with them not against them. She showed me how to use a round brush and hair dryer for a just few minutes on my bangs to give them life, and I, a 44 year old with a life long commitment to air drying, bought a round brush that night. I will definitely be back to see her. Also Iris, who washed my hair, was lovely and thorough.

Salli B Salon is amazing. I’ve only been to it twice now, and I plan on going back every time I get a haircut. I’ve been to a lot of salons in my life, but none of them really knew how to deal with all kinds of hair, nor did anyone ask/care what I’d wanted. Salli B is a life changer, and I strongly recommend coming here. You will not regret it.

She is an expert on suggesting what looks best regarding individual appearance, but always respects a client’s personal opinion. I’ve been going to Shaniqua since 2018 and followed her to Salli B when it opened in 2023. She is the BEST for blondes. I always get compliments on how natural my balayage looks. She has such a gift. I had damaged hair from a previous salon incident and Shaniqua has completely transformed my hair over the years with careful and delicate use of bleach for highlights to avoid damage. She’s the best. The salon is super cute and everyone there is fun and so thoughtful. Cannot recommend enough!

My colorist , Danny Riveria is The Best Colorist in NYC- and probably The Entire World! He is a true master colorist. I am so lucky that I have found him. I recommend him highly! Danny is fantastic with clients—- he truly understands service! He is the BEST!

Salli B salon is the best of the best. I would never go to any other salon. Such a warm and welcoming environment and a beautiful space that makes you feel comfortable throughout your hair process. All of the stylists are extremely talented and excel at what they do. Santa is the BEST especially if you have curly hair! I have never had a stylist able to get my hair so beautiful and blonde without being orange. She is truly skilled and I would never let anyone else touch my hair. She is the sweetest too! Ask for Santa you won’t regret it!

Shaniqua is THE BEST!!!! She always listens to how I want my hair and makes my hair look amazing! I love getting my hair done here, I even make the commute all the way from Brooklyn. The salon is beautiful and so are the people! I couldn't recommend Shaniqua more!

Shaniqua is the absolute best. She doesn’t just DO your hair, she KNOWS your hair. I can make a request and she’ll predict how my hair will react and help me decide if it’s a good idea. I’ve been going to her for almost 20 years and would never trust anyone else the way I trust her with my locks.

I got a haircut and hair gloss with Crispin a few weeks ago and it was amazing! Crispin gave me perfect layers, brought bounce and health back to my hair while keeping length, and gave me the perfect gloss to match my roots to my ends and give my hair a much healthier appearance. A few weeks later and my hair still looks amazing and I still get compliments! The entire staff was really nice and welcoming. Definitely recommend coming here, I will be back soon!

Great and extremely friendly service. Went in for a perm a week ago and it’s held up so well compared to other salons in NYC. My hair stylist even recognized me after a year and gave me a complimentary product. Will be coming back for sure!

Okay, Shaniqua. Is. The. Best. Colorist. I’ve ever been to. I showed her a mix of photos that didn’t really look alike as my inspiration photos and explained what I wanted, and she made sure she understood perfectly before touching my hair. It has come out absolutely perfectly every time! I will go to her again and again!

I recently moved to NYC and needed a new hair stylist. I went in for a cut to start from Salli, and I LOVE it. Been getting so many compliments already. She gave it so much dimension. I then went back 4 days later to get a “bronde” look. My hair was getting dull so it was time for a refresh. I normally do balayages but this time I wanted to switch it up and go darker, but still have some pops of highlights and face framing to liven it up. Salli understood the assignment. I am SO happy with the results!! It’s scary to try something new with your hair but it’s so rewarding that it turned out just how I wanted! I will definitely be going back!!

Got a curly cut with Santa recently. She goes into specific details with what I should be doing. She educated me on why some of my curls were flat compared to the rest. I really appreciate how she gave me tips and tricks to further enhace the beauty of my curls. Yris also washed my hair really well. Great team overall.

Since I began seeing Santa in 2018, my curls have felt healthier and more understood than ever—and because she takes care to share her knowledge during each visit, I feel like I can properly care for them in between appointments.
