Jacob does a fantastic job with color and Lina is wonderful with cuts. Everyone who works at the salon is extremely friendly and professional. I feel very comfortable there in every way and always leave looking my best.

Rina is the BEST. She has been doing my blonde for almost 6 years—I followed her from her first salon and never looked back. She is meticulous with her craft, and incredibly knowledgeable. We’ve made small tweaks over the years, but the one constant is I always leave the salon feeling amazing. And blonde! (Seriously, I once took the wrong subway home because I was so distracted by my hair in any/all reflections). Not only does she do an incredible job on my color, but it’s thanks to her that my hair stays so healthy. Her product recommendations are always targeted and on point, and she always takes steps to protect my hair while lightening, even if it takes extra time. She truly cares! FWIW, I’ve been with Rina through job losses, breakups, a pandemic—she is never, ever pushy when life gets in the way and I can’t keep up with the ideal schedule for my highlights. She is so understanding, warm, funny and smart. No matter how long my appointment is, it always flies by, and the closeness we’ve developed over the years is something I treasure even more than the gorgeous job she does on my blonde!

I've been going to Rina for cut and color for two years, and my hair has never looked better! I've been blonde for almost 20 years, and the color is the most natural looking and my hair is the healthiest it's ever been. I'm so grateful for Rina's help to get my hair strong and long while staying in good shape. She's also such a wonderful person! We have the best time together, and I look forward to getting to see her.

Rina did a fabulous job with creative colours for my hair. As soon as we began chatting about what might work well to renew and enhance my existing style, I knew I was in expert hands. She asked great questions, took time to understand what I wanted, and made an inspired suggestion about deepening the natural dark tones of the unbleached sections of my hair to set off the coloured and blonde parts more strikingly. Once we'd decided on the plan, she mixed some gorgeous shades of deep pink and green, and she did both the bleaching and the colouring more skilfully than anyone else I've known. She also cut my hair beautifully, and I came away with the right products and guidance to start healing it from the significant amount of breakage she discovered. Rina was a pleasure to chat with as she worked, and I'm delighted with the stylish and dramatic effect we ended up with, as well as with how much healthier my hair already feels. I appreciated the peaceful and spacious setting, and I feel very grateful to have found someone so talented and imaginative here.

Don’t go to Jan Marie. Chemically destroyed my hair and gas lit me and told me my hair is not blonde and that’s my “perspective”. Rude! Not very caring re their clients. Lost all my information in their computer system and said “ we changed program “ not very professional to loose client info ( I been a client for over 8 years). Apparently I heard same from other people that been their regular clients they don’t have previous information in computer and the receptionist is not even trying to be accommodating. So many other great salons in NYC.

I was greeted my this lovely, French lady - who I would later learn was the the General Manager - Mylene. She ensured I had the best colorist and stylist… and I did (& do!) — wow! The salon gives off a “pre-COVID” / UES vibe with a downtown chill. Definitely ask for Gloria for the best color on the planet … and either Scott or Annabelle for cut & styling. You will NOT be disappointed. I will be back!!!

I came in on my day off just to get a quick bang trim. Walton gave me a perfect blunt bang, knew exactly what I was looking for. He's professional and super friendly, I'll definitely come back to see him again !

I consistently get my haircuts with Walton Nunez at the Sally Hershberger Salon. I have tried others and other places, but those experiences, well, fall flat. Walton cuts and styles with such finesse and expertise--he elevates!! I trust Walton with my hair, and times when I am not entirely sure of what to do, he knows. He's a visionary. And, he brings professionalism without the pretense. Go go go. Like now. :)
