Have always loved this salon. Never any pressure and always willing to listen! Left for a year and tried other salons but returned because they were so consistent and non judgmental that I left for a year! Lynn is amazing!

I got a haircut from Tina today (9/7/24), and she truly did an amazing job! She took her time and sectioned out my hair to ensure everything was even! Truly one of the best cuts I've had! Will definitely be going back in the future!

I came to Salon 21 for the first time this past weekend and had such a great experience. Tina was so nice and personable and we had a great conversation throughout my whole haircut appointment! Tina checked in with me multiple times throughout the appointment to make sure I liked the length, which I really appreciated. The salon is very cozy and comfortable too. I highly recommend!

I haven't been in a while, but I remeber my time there was fabulous. I went back today and met with Tina, she did an AMAZING job on my hair!! She did my eyebrows as well, they didn't hurt and they didn't turn red. Either ladies are great to get your spirits turned around with a fresh look!

We had an issue in the past and Lynn was quick to help me with it. Scheduling is easy and quick! Great environment aswell! Would recommend anybody that is nervous about going to a new salon. It’s very comfortable. They work quickly but also pay a lot of attention to detail.

I liked Tina and I’ll go back. She took her time shampooing and it was very relaxing. Lyn the owner also seemed very nice and capable. The salon was clean and I felt comfortable.

Mrs. Lynn is hands down the best stylist I have ever seen. I came in with a botched haircut from another salon. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she delivered. She was so kind and fun to talk to. I feel as though I have known her for years. So happy to have found my new salon home!

I was resistant to cut my hair for YEARS…until I met Tina. I found this place online and this was divine intervention 100%. This was the ONLY Salon that had no negative reviews, which was a green light to me. When I called 2-3 years ago for the first time, hearing Tina’s voice and caring compassion was what made me take the plunge and make an appointment (for the same day no less!). I’ve been seeing Tina for years now and she’s got the touch of an angel. She is KIND, and listens so intently to everything you say. She has attention to detail and is ultimately so very skilled at her craft with kindness, care, and precision in her expertise. She transforms my hair and literally makes me feel like Anne Hathaway in Princess Diaries (Iykyk)! She is gentle, intentional, and ultimately soothing. She has the great gift of turning hair DREAMS into REALITY, has a powerful vision, and literally works miracles for my hair. There won’t be a day that goes by that I don’t go to Tina and this salon. Thanks for giving me confidence, kindness, care, and love!

I absolutely loved my experience here. Quiet, peaceful. I was able to relax and not have my ear talked off or deal with EDM blasting. Tina took time to listen to my wants and delivered an outstanding cut. This quaint cottage style salon will be my hairever home! Loved it!

I have FINALLY found my new hair spot! Tina is incredibly sweet and did my hair beautifully. She was so gentle and kept great conversation. I purchased new products for my hair and they smell ~amazing~. The salon is small, cozy, and has the most welcoming atmosphere. Thank you ladies!! I will be back ♡

I have been living in Raleigh for almost a year. Had some really bad, expensive haircuts. After 6 months of not getting my hair cut, it was time to try again. I searched the internet, again. I loved how Salon 21 looked and how small and quaint it seemed. And no nonsense! No downloading photos of yourself or a consultation first. I made an appointment to get my haircut. In my 54 years, I've had 2 amazing haircuts. One was in New York City. The other was at Salon 21. I have finally found it and her! Lynn was amazing. She was so thorough. She understood what I needed, what my face needed! Finally. If you want uppity and foofoo go someplace else, this place is for serious haircuts.

I never write reviews, but Lynn was so amazing I had to change my ways. I came in for a (curly hair) pixie cut and Lynn gave me exactly what I was hoping for! She was friendly, engaging, and works at a great pace - I felt neither rushed nor like it was taking too long. She definitely knows what she is doing! The salon is beautiful - calm, grounding vibes in a quiet building surrounded by trees. On top of that, I felt the price was fair and provided a great value for the experience I received. Thank you!

Lynn gives me the best haircut I’ve ever had! She spends a lot of time cutting at different angles to enhance the curl in my wavy hair. She’s friendly and a good story teller - the time flies by! I highly recommend her!

Thanks Lynn. I don’t live here, but returned to Lynn for a 2nd time, since I was visiting Raleigh again. I really liked my first cut. This 2nd time I wasn’t as pleased. Lynn was very gracious about having me come in again for a redo. Not only do I really like this cut again, I want to say how especially grateful I am for the redo. She stands by her work and she is a real pro.

Tina and Lynn are fantastic humans and amazing stylists! I called Salon 21 in a panic after having a patchy color job from another salon...one week before my wedding. Lynn was incredibly understanding and worked to get me in quickly with Tina. Tina did a wonderful job correcting the color and was so kind. I highly recommend Salon 21 and will be a repeat customer!

Tina did a FANTASTIC job, and my beach wave perm turned out even better than I anticipated! It’s hard to find a salon that will do a perm, but they do—and it’s perfect! The cut Tina did before perming was spot-on! I HIGHLY recommend Salon 21, as these ladies know EXACTLY what they’re doing! (I also don’t usually write a bunch of stuff in all caps, but this place made me so happy!)

Tina did an excellent job with my hair cut. She is a very sweet person and is very talented with cutting hair. This is the best hair cut I’ve ever gotten. The studio is welcoming, cozy and clean. Highly recommend!

Tina and Lynn are AWESOME! I came in at the end of September for my first haircut since 2019, and to get some new, bright colors added for fall. It turned out PERFECTLY, and I couldn't be happier! Tina took the time to talk with me about how we could best layer the fun colors for maximum effect, and both she and Lynn checked in regularly to make sure the bleaching and coloring were coming along like we wanted. It's been about 6 weeks now, and my colors are still vibrant and gorgeous and giving me a happy thrill whenever I look at them :) The stylists at Salon 21 are friendly and skillful, and the salon itself is SO cozy and peaceful; you can chat with Lynn and Tina and other clients, or just admire the trees through the windows and listen to the blow-driers--no pressure either way. These photos are from a few days after I got the color done, and I haven't added any filters or retouched them, so you can see the real results. I recommend Salon 21 to anyone who wants their hair done by accomplished professionals who take the time to listen and collaborate with you. You'll have a lovely time and walk out feeling like a movie star :)
