My wife went to get a trim at this place and literally came back in tears. Whoever the woman is that works here, has ZERO training and zero clue how to cut hair. My wife described the most haphazard, no effort, lazy haircut you could imagine. A trim turned in to the stylist putting her hair in a ponytail and hacking off 5 inches. If you are a female DO NOT GO TO THIS SALON! She said this is one of the worst experiences she's ever had.

Tried calling to ask if anyone was well known for burst fades and instead of having my question answered all i was asked repeatedly was "for a female?" I'm not sure what male or female has to do with anything im not booking till I know I can get the services I needed. Definitely don't recommend calling and asking any questions as they will not be answered.

I'm Desiree, a customer of Salon 300. My mother had her hair appointment with the Hair Stylist Joey. Being highly satisfied with the results, she recommended Joey to me for box braid extensions. I visited him May 23, 2020. I admit, I forgot to inform Joey during the appointment set-up that the braids I wanted were box braids; so I was absolutely grateful for his patience and for still accepting my appointment and request. . Throughout the entire duration of my appointment, Joey exhibited consideration, thoughtfulness, and professionalism. Being that this was my first time having box braids, he utilized his knowledge to ensure that the ones for me were comfortable and of decent thickness. In fact, he made my comfort and safety a priority [i.e. preventing scalp burn from perm treatment, making sure that the blow dryer was not too hot for my scalp, checking often on whether the braids felt too tight]. I appreciated his care and concern; those behaviors are what make a Hair Stylist even more ideal. It felt as if we were becoming fast friends, really. I got to know him as a man whose life changed all the better because of the Grace of God. With that new-found life, he actively extends kindness and positivity to other people as often as he can, whether it be good laughs or wisdom. He also creates devotionals on his Facebook blog Radiant Son [which I am currently following] and is working on publishing his first devotional book. Joey strives to help people with his work – I say he is doing quite remarkable even as a Hair Stylist. I do intend to have another appointment with Joey – this time for crochet braids. After having positive compliments of my new hairstyle from my family and co-workers, I prefer to go back to the Hair Stylist who made it possible. So, in short: Thank you very much for styling my first box braids, Joey. I look forward to seeing you soon!

My husband went to get a simple 'inexpensive' hair cut at Salon 300 on Saturday and was charge to his credit card $47 for a $20 haircut. I called the shop and was transferred to the barber and the barber insisted that my husband most likely had additional services done. I insisted that he never touched his messed up beard. I was so frustrated going back and forth over the phone and told him that I was driving out there so that he can see that he barely cleaned the hair around the ears and the back of his next and that no extra services were rendered, which the barber also agreed... Thank God for that! The barber whos station is on the far right side of the salon (with a tattoo next to his right eye) made me drive all the way to the shop, just to tell me to provide him a receipt, which my husband was not given one at the time. I showed him my bank statement with the charge that went through yesterday After going back and forth again at the shop, the barber placed a call to his boss and his boss told me that he doesn't show a $47 charge. The barber confirmed that the bank statement he was looking at did appear to be the $47. I told the guy over the phone that I was showing the barber the charge on my BANK STATESMENT on my app but it still was not good enough for either them and still wanted to see the original receipt, which again was not given one. I told the barber that my husband barely speaks English but the barber insisted that he was speaking fluent English when he got his hair cut. Really Mr. Barber Sir?!? I was so upset and decided to tell them that I'd rather place a FRAUDANT CLAIM with my bank and walked out so upset and disappointed. I just finished speaking to my bank representative and she was more than happy to reimburse the total amount until this claim is resolved. This is a horrible situation if this is an on going practice as it's a highly Spanish speaking community and I hope that it's not happening on a regular bases with others who do not have the knowledge on how to get their charges corrected! Shame on you SALON 300 for not taking care of the situation right there and then and making things right with your customers!

The Barber's and beautician's are very nice and caring. One time I went up to the shop and noticed one of The Barbers standing outside using electrical Clippers to cut a customer's hair. Come to find out there was a power outage on the whole block. I admired how the employees did not turn the customers away they made a way and was still able to satisfy their customers. I would recommend 300 salon to all my friends and family. Not to mention they treat all of their customers like family.
