Hannah S is so talented! I previously had black hair that was lifted to red with 11 weeks of root. She managed to correct and blend the colors to a blonde while creating a smudge root look. Super focused to detail and takes as long as needed to make you feel good and happy about yourself! Highly recommend :)

I had an amazing experience at Salon 387 with Hannah Smothers! From start to finish, she was professional, attentive, and really took the time to understand what I was looking for. I have wavy hair and wanted a trim and some face framing pieces. The haircut turned out exactly how I envisioned, and I couldn't be happier with the results. I left feeling refreshed and confident. Highly recommend Hannah Smothers! I’ll definitely be back.

I’ve been debating for a while on whether to make this review or not but seeing as how low my self confidence is from this haircut I think it’s time. I will post before pic of my hair, after the hair cut, and what it looks like now. It’s been an absolute disaster and one of the worst hair cuts I’ve ever gotten. Not to mention the worst time to have such a horrible haircut as well. I’m 9 months pregnant and have had to take maternity pictures so the haircut was so bad I had to get clip in hair extensions to feel even the least bit comfortable with the look of my hair. I showed the hair stylist (Michelle) a pic of what I wanted which I will also post on this as well so you can get an idea of what I wanted. I wanted face framing layers and mostly like the picture I am going to post. But as the haircut went along she kept cutting and cutting and cutting and my layers ended up looking so short and choppy I can’t even curl them to make them look somewhat decent. It’s awful. It looks likes a mullet. The stylist seemed rushed and at the end of the service said once my hair grows out the layers won’t look so choppy. Well my hair takes so long to grow it’s going to take years to make this look right. I still paid for the service not really seeing how bad it was yet until I got in the car and really looked at it and then got home and tried to style it and then realized how short my layers are. I am embarrassed to say the least and will not be coming back to this salon. I am in a very vulnerable time in my life as I am pregnant and want to feel my best and this has knocked me down very low. I have always gotten told I had the prettiest hair and now everyone asks me why I got a mullet cut. Or are kind of baffled at how bad it looks.

Nice staff, but they are not experienced enough in hair to even do a full blonde highlight correctly. Do not waste your money! I had to pay double to get another salon to fix it, and they were shocked that salon 387 let me walk out with my hair like it was. i will fight to get my money back from Salon 387 because that was a complete rip off

Absolutely love this salon and will be recommending to all my friends. Kind and welcoming staff, and endless talent. My stylist, Jessica, listened and helped me combine all of my inspo photos into the perfect haircut for my needs. She was thorough every step of the way, from making sure I was getting what I wanted, walking me through what she was doing, and explaining how to get the salon styling results at home. As an introvert I appreciated that there was no pressure to talk, but also all conversations came about naturally. I also had a consult with Shelby, their color specialist. She was also incredible and had great energy. She worked with me to find a great color option for my next visit, and was able to quote me services at much fairer prices than I've experienced elsewhere. I will absolutely be returning and genuinely feel I've found one of, if not the absolute, best salon in Memphis.

Cute salon with nice staff. I go to Yasmin every time for my hair color and she does a great job every time! Their kind of hard to find - inside of Stock and Belle on the upper floor.

EDIT: The salon owner text me the next day about my review and asked me to send in pictures, ONLY to tell me that I cannot go from Red to Blonde in one session, but my hair was NOT RED! Wow. The red toner in my google profile pic is from YEARS AGO and NOT one of the pics I sent to the “owner.” Shelby also apparently lied to the owner by telling her not only that my hair was dyed red prior to my appointment but that she’d actually spoken to me when I went in later to ask about the brown toner. If they’d never text me and asked for pictures (I said I would consider editing my review), I would have thought that it was just the stylist who was the problem. Solid brown “balayage.” Awful service. Messed up the blonde highlights I’d gotten from a different stylist at Salon 387 in April. I was charged $270 and I tipped (like I always do), but I regret that I gave her the benefit of the doubt when I initially stated that it wasn’t blonde enough and she said it would rinse out. *Drops review from two stars to one* !! … I used to like this salon, but my last service was terrible. Don't book with Shelby M. I'd gotten service from her before for red but the last time I went in for blonde balayage and she just bleached my hair and then dyed it back brown. She said she used toner and that it would rinse out but 3 months later it is still the SAME color brown throughout. I did not get a refund, or a discount and she wouldn't speak to me when I went in for help.

I cannot recommend Salon 387 enough! The salon is beautiful and an experience in itself. My stylist, Jessica, gave me and my daughter beautiful cuts (we both have long hair), and she executed my vision for my balayage flawlessly. She communicated with me throughout the entire process so I didn’t have any questions or concerns. She is super talented and allowed me to have one of the best salon experiences I’ve ever had, at a very reasonable price. Run, don’t walk, to get on her books!

I love Salon 387. My mother and I both see Shelby Metrolis. She's amazing with color. The atmosphere is so groovy. Everyone is professional and friendly. Always so clean. Love the smocks. And I have to say the shampoo from Shelby is out of this world. The best! So relaxing 😌 Our hair is always perfect. I give the Salon 5 *****. I recommend this place to everyone. You won't be disappointed. 👏

I’ve been coming to this salon for years & I am always welcomed with smiles & positive energy. All the stylists are very kind, professional & talented. I absolutely adore my hair each time I leave. I swear, they have some of the best blowouts in Memphis. I look forward to treating myself every few months to coming back to see my friends at Salon387.

I’ve had many a disappointing haircut, and Michelle totally turned that around for me! She was so talented, and very clearly knew what she was doing. I had a great time chatting with her and she gave me a cut that I am unbelievably happy with.

The atmosphere here is amazing and all of the workers are welcoming. There's such a unique style to the salon that makes it very charming. Nick was such a fantastic barber and he listened to all of the concerns I had while educating me on my options along the way. You can tell how experienced he is and the expertise that he maintains with it all. I definitely recommend coming here!

The place is super cute! I gave 3 stars because I wasn't very impressed with the cut and style or cleanliness. I asked for a partial and a trim on the layers and a side bang with layers framing my face. My cut came out kind of choppy and she tried to blend the bang but it was just too much cut on the bang side. The color came out amazing, though. However when I got rinsed she got water all down my back inside my clothes. She said it was a normal thing, but that's never happened to me before. At any place, through any wash and rinse When u first get there they have you put on one of the smocks that are hanging in the bathroom. The bathroom was cute and nicely set up, but wasn't too clean. There was hair clumps on the floor in the main area and in the stall. I went in and it just made me question the cleanliness of the smock I put on. Don't get me wrong, there was a bin for the ones, again, the cleanliness of the bathroom just didn't seem to be on par with somewhere the clean wardrobe was at. The experience just wasn't worth the money at the end.

The salon is beautiful and clean, and has all the bells and whistles. I cannot speak to every stylist, but I have had excellent experiences with Hannah, who has curly hair like mine, and demonstrates (and educates me) incredible skill. A few logistical notes if you are new to this salon: all scheduling is handled via texting (not calling) the number on their website. The salon is accessed by going INTO Stock & Belle, and up the spiral staircase (I believe there is also an elevator).

You can make a appointment first before you go, it’s more way better. And you can get a schedule. The customer service are helpful and that time my schedule was full time, so i can go there actually

I went to Salon 387 for the first time this week and I am IN LOVE with my new color and cut! Hannah did a fantastic job!! I had previously died my hair brown and she gave me a full transformation to a nice golden blonde in one session. The atmosphere at the salon is great too! Everyone was so nice and it's always refreshing to see people actively cleaning when you're somewhere too!

I went for the first time this week and Daven did an amazing job! I recently moved to the area and was nervous about getting my hair done but she did a beautiful job and I'll definitely be returning.
