Excellent cut, color and beard trim by Brittany. I came in with a complete disaster from a previous stylist, and she was able to transform it into something looking extremely sharp. Highly recommend this spot.

For an upscale salon in a very nice part of Greensboro, you sure can get one hell of a solid men's cut and beard trim here. Wonderful service and very friendly stylists in a beautiful atmosphere.

Worst experience ever! It was my second appt which was supposed to be with a master cutter. I walk in for my appt and the master cutter had quit and without any notification they assigned me to a beginner. I couldn’t walk out. I had a conference to go to and no time to find another salon.. Horrible highlights, pretty much non-existent, my haircut is a total disaster and she didn’t wash my hair and after rinsing my hair it was dripping all over me. She had no idea what she was doing. I do not recommend this very expensive salon and it is definitely not high end.

I came in with a mess with my color and badly damaged hair due to prior stylists, been cutting and dying my own hair for a couple yrs, not realizing that Sally's products aren't safe. I was so nervous I was visibly shaking. They put at ease and with the lead stylist,I walked out with amazing hair, cut and color, while she managed to keep my length. 🥰 I'll go nowhere else from now on.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Salon 440, and I cannot recommend it highly enough, especially thanks to my amazing hairstylist, Ren. From the moment I walked in, Ren's sweet and personable nature made me feel right at home. Ren is highly skilled and truly knows her craft. She took the time to listen to what I wanted and provided expert advice that suited my style perfectly. The end result was nothing short of fabulous, and I left the salon feeling more confident and refreshed. The salon itself is gorgeous, with an abundance of natural light that creates a warm and inviting atmosphere. The relaxing setting made the entire experience even more enjoyable. I will absolutely be back to see Ren at Salon 440. If you're looking for a talented and personable hairstylist in a beautiful, serene environment, look no further!

This was my first experience with this salon, I was recommended by my cousin. Unfortunately I was not able to try this place due to their lack of planning and coordination. I got a call not even 24 hours before my appointment at 6pm stating they had to either reschedule or cancel my appointment due to a “Botox party”. For context I made this appointment a week and a half in advance for my graduation on Friday. They had to manually go in and approved my appointment, so when I got the call I was confused and upset. To make matters worse it wasn’t management or the stylist “Yuli” reaching out to me it was the esthetician calling me to cancel because she needed Yuli for the event. The esthetician could not answer any of my questions so when she finally got the stylist on the phone she was unapologetic and informed she accepted the appointment by mistake and “meant to call me earlier in the week” but was too busy to do so. Had she called me when she realized the mistake earlier in the week I would have been understanding but considering she informed me not even 24 hours before the appointment I no longer have the option to get my hair cut for my graduation because everyone is booked up. So much for the 48 hour cancellation policy. So disappointed in this experience, never trying them again.

I booked a facial with Elizabeth after a really stressful week and I’m so glad I did! I left feeling refreshed and serene. Elizabeth is one of the sweetest souls and has a welcoming presence. She truly loves what she does and you can tell. This was my first visit to Salon 440 and was so impressed with the salons overall aesthetic and location. If you think you need a facial, yes you do!! Go and see her!!! Good prices and an amazing atmosphere! 🩷💆🏻‍♀️✨

Britt did an incredible job on my hair! I had a lot of root growth since my usual stylist was out of work for an extended time. She blended my highlights so seamlessly, brightened up my roots, and brought my blonde back to life. She's so sweet and nice to work with. The atmosphere of the salon was beautiful too.

Britt helped me clean up my grown out buzzcut to get it ready to grow into a bob. She was super friendly and easy to talk to! Plus the salon has awesome lighting and parking on the side of the building.

Es primera vez que boy a este salon, lleve a mi niño acortar su pelo, mostre una foto del corte que queria, y nada que ver pareciera que lo iso alguien sin experiencia, dice que el niño no se dejaba, pero sino tienen paciencia para aser cortes a niños mejor no acepten aser el trabajo, por que un niño pequeño apenas esta familiarizado a el corte de pelo y al ruido de la maquina, ahora tengo que buscar quin aregle el pelo de mi niño, por que su pelo quedo todo trasquilado.

I HIGHLY recommend everyone to Janet! She’s the only hairstylist that was able to keep my hair super healthy and blonde. She’s very strategic and careful with my hair knowing that I have thin hair and it’s difficult to deal. I absolutely loveee her work! We did my hair many colors before I went blonde and after all that my hair is still in the best shape ever ❤️

I really had high expectations of this salon! I believe that as a customer you should feel welcomed and I didn’t feel that! No water or anything offered! The hairdresser did not even introduced themselves, this is important when you have first time customers.The energy was off! First time going there and definitely won’t be coming back! The haircut was nice, but customer services will always be a priority for me!

Janet did my hair and did a WONDERFUL job! Not only was my haircut so good but she made me feel so comfortable and welcomed. I enjoyed our conversation and I definitely want Janet to do my hair for forever. The salon was beautiful and it was such a great atmosphere. Janet, the salón & the experience is a 11/10. After 5 years, i came in and got a good relaxing blowout, trim & toner! This salon is beautiful and everyone is so friendly as soon as you walk in! From the gorgeous natural lighting and the overall positive energy, this is definitely a place to give yourself some me time! I visited this salon to follow my AMAZING stylist Britt and she gave me a cut and color that I LOVE and have received so many compliments on since sitting in her chair. I have long, natural blonde hair and she nails it every time! She is a true artist and takes time to understand what you want, and creative enough to add her own personal style in all of the best ways! She is the only person I trust with my hair and one of the very best people I know!

i had janet dye my hair red/copper & she did an AMAZING job , i definitely recommend her for red heads , my hair wasnt damaged nor in bad shape after the whole process at all , the color was so bright , 1000/10 , will never switch to anyone else ever again

Ragan is amazing!! I have lived here for a couple of years and had the worst time finding someone who was great with blondes. I can’t remember a time when my hair looked this good!! I have left other salons feeling let down that I paid a ton of money and my hair was not what I wanted. She listens and I always leave loving what she did. If you are looking for a new stylist - go see her!!!
