After seeing Chi’s work on social media, I knew I wanted to get my hair cut by her and no one else. When I tell you she gave me everything I was expecting and more- she knew what to do like it was second nature. I am SO pleased with my haircut and I will never go to anyone else ever again.

After years of being traumatized every time I left the salon after a hair cut I finally met Chi and those days are long over. Not only is Chi the sweetest being, she is also extremely talented and really knows her craft. Aside from the amazing hair cut she gave me she is also so personable and easy to talk to, her conversation is always immaculate which is a bonus for me because I’m socially awkward. I always leave her chair feeling confident and happy with the results of the hair cut and blow out she gave me. 10/10 all around!

Chi is the absolute best. I've been in a few times and she just gets it; her cuts look beautiful even as my hair keeps growing, and she's amazing at layers! When I ask for her recommendations, she is so helpful and keeps it real with what will suit me. She asks questions and I can tell she is invested in giving me an enjoyable experience. Not to mention she is the funniest and we chat and laugh the whole appointment 🫶🏼 Recommend her with my eyes closed!!!

I booked with Chi for the first time and not only is she the cutest thing ever I truly LOVE my hair. She was honest at how much I should cut and it was shorter than what I would like but honestly I’m so glad I did it because my hair suits me so much more and it looks so much healthier. She’s so fun to talk to but also so good at what she does. I’ve literally recommended her to all my friends already because of how quick and amazing she is at what she does. I love her and couldn’t recommend her enough!!!

I came across Chi on TikTok and Instagram. I loved her work so I made an appointment. She made me feel very welcome, comfortable, and made small talk with me (although I’m shy). She gave a long face framing layers and a blowout. The service was great and the results were just what I wanted. She’s worth every penny, and after going through many hairstylists, I’ve found the one ❤️!

I found Chi’s work on IG, and she did not disappoint! She is so sweet and her talent is beyond measure. You can tell how passionate she is about her work! I have been coming to Chi over the last year and each time I am SO happy and excited about my hair again. Before coming to Chi I would always leave the salon disappointed, but now I’m so excited to come in and get a haircut with Chi. She is very knowledgeable and professional. I always ask her opinion and appreciate her honesty, my hair has honestly never felt healthier and looked this good! Highly recommend!!

I have been to this place twice so far with Chi as my hairdresser and both times my hair has come out so beautiful. The last time i was here i was running 15 min late and Chi remained extremely professional and understanding while doing my hair. She didn’t treat me any different even though I was the one who was late. On top of all of that she washed, cut, and blow dried my hair all in 45 minutes and it came out AMAZING. Chi is talented and kindhearted and I love going to her. She kills it every time and makes me feel comfortable, and I recommend her to any one because she truly cares about what she does and it shows.

I have never had a hairdresser that does hair like Chi! She is incredible at cutting hair and gives the BEST blowouts!! Not only does she do hair so well, she makes the whole hair cutting process so fun and lively!! 10/10 recommend!!!

Recently, I posted a not so great review on Lauren Morris (@laurensignehair) and Emily Naaman (@colorbyemily). I was disappointed with pricing, lying, and the games they played with me all the while just wanting a relaxing experience that ended with amazing hair. I tried out a few stylist here and Unfortunately I was not lucky! Be AWARE of these women as they talk negatively about their clients when you’re in the chair and out of the chair. I was charged $400 for a partial highlight… I was stunned!!!! On top of that they lying to my face about the extensions I purchased that they held hostage and would not return to me. So many more stories here but I had enough! Lauren recently sent me this text after she saw my initial review. Just speaks to the girls that work at 5014 Salon.

Super disappointed with my time with Chi. I saw her page on IG and her works look beautiful so I decided to book with her for the first time for my bday hair cut. I was so excited. When I came in, her assistant took me to her chair where she was still finishing a client. She saw me but didn’t greet me. I said hi first and then she said hi. I figured she was busy so didn’t mind at that moment. Hee assistant washed my hair and then when it came to Chi to cut. She asked me what I wanted. Now I don’t get my hair done often so I don’t really know the terms and things. i just said I wanted 2 inches trim and some long layer. She immediately gave me attitude with the look on her face. She said only 2 inches? ( with a smirk) your hair left over color at the end is dead you need at least 5 inches. I said yeah I know but I really like my long hair and it took me a long time to have my hair long. She gave me attitude again and ask how I wanted the bottom which I said just 2 inches off and round them. At this point, clearly, as a professional, she shouldve realized that I don’t know nothing about hair. So instead of giving me attitude, why don’t you educate me politely and professionally? Anyways she proceeded to give me a bare minimum cut and I was in and out her chair in less than 20min. No styling after( like what I saw on her IG) just bare minimum blow dry. I paid $100 for that. $100 for 30min bare minimum and unprofessional hair service which didn’t look any different from when I came in. So disappointed as I had such high hopes and excitement from seeing her glorious IG.

Fue la primera vez que visité el lugar y me encanto , Isabella me atendió y me dejo el cabello realmente hermoso . Isabella también habla español por si es tu idioma natal es perfecto, porque así puedes explicarle muy bien lo que te gustaría hacer a tu cabello . Totalmente recomendado . Los precios son realmente buenos . El lugar muy bonito y sientes una experiencia realmente agradable.

I’ve been going to Chi for a while now and she is AH-MAZ-ING!!! She is so great at cutting hair and we always have a great time catching up! So professional and sweet! Absolutely THE BEST!

Overpriced and not worth it, with an uncomfortable level of discrimination. As a Spanish speaker, they assumed I didn’t speak English and ignored me for 20 minutes. When I finally requested a consultation, I was told to seat and wait in a very passive aggressive manner then hairdresser told me it would cost between $400 and $600 for just partial highlights! Even in California, I’ve never been charged that much BTW My hair is shoulder-length.

I had a wonderful experience with Carley! I did regular haircut and now I feel like Taylor Hill 10/10. She was super sweet and patient with me and I highly recommend her and would go again in the future when I visit Texas again! Thank for doing what you do Carley! :)

Chi is absolutely iconic and her work is no less of the former. Her work ethic is a sight of beauty and the way she cuts and styles is so effortless and QUICK. Chi has been a godsend for my hair over the last year. Not only is she the best hairstylist I have had, she’s also an incredibly passionate and kind human being, who has also become a sweet friend of mine. From the day I met her, I was in shock at how perfect that cut was. I have been to dozens of salons and it seems like no one really understands thick Asian hair the way Chi does. I would spend so much money and my hair would lose its shape and dimension after a month. From the day I met Chi, we always half-joked about me getting a bob. I was petrified of cutting my long locks of hair, but she made me feel so comfortable and confident that I could pull it off. In January, we did the big chop and I have been rocking the best bob I could ever ask for. It suits me and I get so many compliments on it everyday. I can’t wait to go back for my next appointment, because she creates the best environment and experience for a relaxing and fun haircut.
