Emma is a new stylist and did a wonderful job cutting my hair. Salon 8 has supervisors who over see the new stylists to offer advice and answer any questions. Salon 8 has a great continuing education for their stylists. 🙂

LOVE Amber! I’ve been going to her for years and she always makes me look and feel confident. She listens to her clients vision and delivers on actionable results every single time. At one point, I was flying down from Philadelphia to get my hair done by her. The salon has the most gorgeous and biggest fiddle leaf figs I’ve ever seen with a fun atmosphere to include a DJ and beverages.

I had the pleasure of going to the salon with a hairstylist in training and the best experience there! I have called back 4 times spoke with the front desk to try and rebook with the same service , and was told every time someone would reach out and have yet to be contacted :-( so sad because I liked the salon environment a lot!

While a little expensive, you can’t argue with the level of customer service. I have been getting my hair cut here for approximately 5 years by Amber and she always provides amazing service. The atmosphere is open and welcoming, with a DJ and always on offer of coffee or water. Amber always remembers how I like my hair and beard cut and trimmed and provides perfect service.

Let me start by saying this is by far the best hair salon in Charlotte! I had Courtnie today and she was amazing! She was conscientious about asking throughout the apt to make sure she was doing exactly what I wanted. She listened and made sure I felt comfortable and she is very detailed oriented. I would highly recommend! It’s been a while since I write a review, but this is deserving. Salon 8 has great customer service, quality products and they will go out of their way to make sure you are satisfy and happy.

I highly recommend 8 the Salon. Awatif has been my hair stylist for at least 2 years. She always gives me a great cut. I also enjoy her personality. The coffee service and DJ are an added bonus.

Delaney did an absolutely amazing job on my hair!! The color is beautiful and I love how she cut and styled my hair. I have gone to a number of high end salons and I have never experienced anyone straighten and style my hair as good as she is able to do it. She always does such a great job with the color and I get so many compliments on my hair. She is very talented and I wouldn’t want to go to anyone else for my hair.

Updating my previous review afte the service. I wish I could give zero stars. After getting a keratin treatment at this place, my hair didn't turn out as expected. Despite following the stylist's advice to wait 50 hours before washing and using a cool setting during blow-drying for optimal results, my hair remained frizzy. This isn't my first keratin treatment, but it's the second time I've faced this issue. Disappointed with the results, I now have to cut my hair shorter and begin the growth process again. I initially rated this place 3 stars due to an uncomfortable experience with the stylist. However, I now realize she may never wanted brown customers there in the first place. ———————— The salon impressed with excellent customer service, but my stylist's sarcastic tone and apparent disinterest made my keratin treatment uncomfortable. Despite the ambiance hiccup, I hope everyone receives the warmth and professionalism I've come to expect from this establishment.

Great place and atmosphere, I see stylist Chulie and she is the best but they all seem to do a pretty nice job from what I could see. Music is a little bit too loud for my taste you could barely hear anything when you talk. But, its still a really nice place and their shampoo scalp massages are the best.

In the beginning of January I got a balayage on my bleached hair so that I could no longer do my roots. I asked my stylist during my session when and if I ever needed to get it touched up again and she said I would never have to get it done again and could just allow my hair to grow out. I paid $250 for this and expected the dye the stay because that is what I was told. By the end of February the balayage was completely washed out. I wouldn’t have paid such a steep price for temporary dye if I was aware and given an honest answer. I recently called and asked and was told it was normal to fade which is not what I was told when getting the balayage done… I feel lied to and do not plan on returning. This is really disappointing as I am in college and this was supposed to be a treat to myself.

I am a hairstylist from NE 37 years I am I certified colorist and cut hair all over US .. I googled .. looking for a high end salon .. salon 8 popped up and I scheduled a cut and color .. I asked specifically for a seasoned stylist.. first appointment I was not so sure .. music was so loud you couldn’t converse with the stylist .. I told her what I wanted showed a photo … I understand that I’m not the model .. but it was a starting point .. I told her I wanted a level 4 red … super easy .. I came out orange .. hair cut was so so .. I understand it takes a few times to get where you want to be.. two months later I go back ( music blaring ) snd tel the stylist I want a level 4 red … I need a semi on my ends for 15 min.. they call it a glaze .. a glaze is mostly for shine. I came out orange .. haircut no where near what I explained and showed .. I have serviced many affluent clients .. and the most important thing you can do is LISTEN. As for a high end salon .. not so much.. high end does not have 30 stylist .. whatever .. I fixed my color .. and they refunded my money .. not high end ..

Wonderful atmosphere and I went in here looking like a hag and they still tested me like I was a queen. Ladies at the front are especially sweet.
