I just love coming to this salon! It’s in a wonderful area and is very calming to be in. Joe Mateo is a wonderful stylist. I LOVE my highlights and Joe is a master of blowouts! My hair feels so healthy and the tone is just beautiful. I highly recommend this salon! It’s simply one of the best salons in Philadelphia!

If you have a bob or other precision cut, Laisa is one of the best stylists around. Her cuts are masterful — she really pays attention to how your hair lays, and polishes her cuts to get the most out of them. Every time I get a cut with her, I get lots of compliments!

I went to Laisa for the first time today and explained that I hadn't had a haircut in two years, or a proper salon cut in much longer. I told her what I wanted and she was very thorough and put me right at ease. She knew exactly what I wanted and needed and it came out gorgeous! She asked lots of questions and even permission for things she thought would make the cut and style look better. I felt so listened to and the experience was really just top notch all around. I left looking like a different person and feeling 10lbs lighter! Will without a doubt be coming back!

Laisa has been my color and cut stylist for almost a year now and does a phenomenal job. I came initially for help fixing a poor color and cut job from another salon. She listened to my concerns, explained in detail what she'd recommend and offered an appointment within a few days. She did a phenomenal job! I am now very pleased with my hair color and style, and my hair feels lustrous. The salon has a cozy, artistic vibe and a convenient location in Queen Village.

Laisa is a fantastic hair stylist. I've been going to her for close to 20 years and I've never been given a bad cut. She understands faces and styles and personalities and somehow puts all of those together when she cuts/styles hair. And bonus: she's an incredibly interesting person.

Laisa has been my stylist for almost a decade and she is the best! I drive over an hour to see her! Over the years, I’ve watched her partner cut, color and style hair; Joe is also very talented and can recommend him without reservations. The salon is clean and bright. Everyone one is very friendly and extremely accommodating! I was able to get all my children use her services! She is so good that after my husband saw how nice our son’s hair looked, he decided to see her too. So now, seeing Laisa is a family affair and we all look better for it!

Laisa has been taking care of my hair and making me look good for more than a decade. She and Joe were already established stylists at Lakshmi Hair Studio when I became one of many Laisa's clients before they decided to start their own salon, and I moved with her. She is great. In the U.S. stylists who know how to cut Asian hard and short hair nicely are scarce, but she is very good. And it's always fun to chat with her about variety of topics while she is cutting my hair. The salon is in a rather quiet neighborhood, a bit off from the area with a lot of traffic, but has a nice relaxed vibe, and I can see that the good vibe is partially due to Laisa and Joe being a very good team together. Highly recommended.

Laisa is one of the best around! I always get compliments on my color. She’s a master at covering up my grays but still leaves it looking natural. She takes care and time making sure the cut and style are exactly what I want and I never feel rushed. I’d recommend her to anyone looking for an amazing haircut and/or coloring for their hair.

I agree that the head massage during the shampoo is a relaxing treat! She has never been pushy but always collaborative, which I also appreciate.

I trust Laisa blindly. She has taken incredible care of my hair since I started seeing her. I do keratin treatments every 3-4 months and she is incredibly patient and careful. She has a great eye for detail and styling; very gentle and collaborative. The salon itself is clean, beautiful, and comfortable. I always feel welcome, peaceful and never rushed or pressured. Wow. After visiting this Salon, I have found a home. Have had the pleasure of being treated by both Laisa and Joe. They are fun to play with while you are there. They are both extremely skilled in perfecting the right color just for you, my hair falls into place most mornings without having to do very much anymore from their cut styling. Big Thank You!!.
