Jade is a lifesaver! My hair was a mess before my Cancun trip - uneven tones, breakage, you name it. But Jade worked her magic and fixed everything, giving me the perfect look I wanted. She's amazing and I couldn't be happier! Highly recommend her to everyone!

Went in for a trim, came out 5 min later with a "house" trim for $38. Just a trim, a damp- trim, no technique, no hairwash (costs extra), no water bottle spray🙈, no small talk, and to top it OFF... I waited 90 minutes for that. Yeah, you're right, WHY WAIT so long??? Well, I really fell for that MAKE YOURSELF AT HOME vibe, welcome- we'll be right with you, and the WOW factors all around me inside the shop. I should have noticed how no one acknowledged me even when i first came in. I had an appointment at 2pm. I arrived 10 til. I checked in at the counter and was asked to have a seat. Only a few minutes after my arrival, another customer walked in without an appointment (she said she did not have an appointment but had an emergency) and was checked in right away. I approached the desk and asked if i was next yet, "the girl that will give you your haircut is still with another customer." 🤔ok, I asked for a different stylist : "The others are also busy", at this point, I feel like as soon as they saw me come in, I was no longer welcome. It felt like every measure was taken to discourage me from staying and meant for me to JUST LEAVE. I had faith in them and figured they truly are busy. One more walkin came in. The same thing happened, AGAIN. Finally, a stylist came out and ushered me to a 💺 seat and proceeded to cut my hair. No questions, she just motioned me to a seat. I reminded her, "Just a trim please" , I heard snip, snipsnip, snip, and snip. Ok! You're all done, thank you! You can pay at the counter! --I'm like, that's it??😒 I'm thinking this should cost $12 bucks. NOPE! That'll be $38 dollars. (No smile, either of us) WHAT!!!?! - I thought. I said, "But she only literally trimmed the back of my hair!, she didn't even cut the front of my hair!--- "That is the price ma'am,"she claimed. "I even waited 90 minutes past my appointment!! Don't you have a discount for that?", I insisted. I requested the manager and complained about their tardiness, price gouging, how 2 walk-ins went in ahead of me, and the ridiculous haircut they want to pass off as professional for $38!!! The manager showed no empathy. She said that my request could only be met by the stylist I waited for and that the fair fee stood as minimum for the service (bad experience)I got. Not once was there an apology for making me wait so long. I feel like they just took one good look at me and did not want to attend me. 🤨 I brought myself to their business level, I understood their struggle, and paid the $38. I also understood why it felt like a desperate business. I hope they're doing better since then (over 10 years ago). ***and to top it all off*** I GET HOME, and my family asked, "where were you?". "Out getting my hair trimmed," I replied in a resigned tone. After reviewing my "hair trim" they said, "It's not even, there's lots of areas longer than others." 🤦🏽‍♀️ "NO WAY!", I thought. Ughhh! I sighed. My husband fixed it, and of course, I swore to NEVER RETURN there again!!! Not sorry to say, I haven't been there ever since. However, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND MAGDA'S HAIR SALON on Center St next to THE CARNICERIA in Deer Park. ***it took me 10 years to speak up because I figured they need time to grow, but seeing several similar experiences inspired me to join the group of unsatisfied customers after all ***

Always have a Wonderful experience. Comfortable and inviting atmosphere. My hairdresser Jade O. did a phenomenal job. Very talented and amazing layering and cutting technique.

Excellent place that my wife and I will definitely be back to in the future. First of all, I love that her and I can both get a haircut at the same time. Secondly, JJ put the most attention to my hair then I have ever had someone do and I really appreciate that. My wife also liked how her hair came out with Jade cutting it. We will definitely be back again in the future.

I had absolutely the best experience at this facility. The receptionist goes above and beyond to help accommodate the clients schedule, and she was very friendly/ professional. My stylist, Jade, did amazing work (my hair needed all the help it could get!). I appreciate her being so down to earth, gentle, and extremely patient. I definitely would recommend this salon!

The young girl that cut my hair did not do a great job. She was nice but needs more experience. I should have said no when I saw her own hairstyle. The shampoo was too quick, normally that is part of the enjoyment of getting a hair cut. She does not know how to style hair. She definatly needs more practice with different styles. The salon itself seemed fine but wish I had someone else cut my hair.

Very dissapointed with the horrible experience my daughter recieved. Her stylist actually took 7 hours to ruin her beautiful hair. She had her sitting on a chair for hours. She is 6 months pregnant. She went home crying. Oh and the second day she returned for the Owner to fix it. She actually had the audacity to want to charge her an extra 50 dollars. Shame on them. If the so called stylist did it right the first day. There would not have been a second day at all if the job was done the right way in the first place. Fair warning to all.

gabby was absolutely the sweetest soul. This was my first time and she made me feel comfortable! & I went for a wash , blow dry && thin and I was absolutely happy with the outcome of my hair !! i will be back to be coloring my hair soon with gabby🥺 this salon is so well put together && amazing sweet staff 💕

Had an appointment with Magda today for a bayalage and I couldn't be happier with the results! After searching for years for someone who actually listened to what I wanted, and did an awesome job, I have found her!!! Loved the atmosphere and absolutely LOVE my hair. i honestly did not like the way that they left my hair. messed it up a lot . i have curly hair and they really messed my hair up so much and i left unhappy and still had to pay 300$ for something i truly did not like i honestly wanted to cry. my hair wasnt flat ironed correctly not cut correctly i asked for curtian bangs and now im stuck with short pieces in the front. i recently had to go to someone else to get the color stripped our my hair. do not recommend this place if you have curly hair.

I got my hair done first time recommendation by a friend and called after 6 weeks of getting it done to reset another appointment more like 7 weeks later and the technician said she would call me back add me to the schedule no call. So I am very put off about going back!
