Used to love going here to get the best, affordable, consistent haircut from one of their old stylists, Ryan. Stopped going once she left a couple years back and I finally found her over at Architexture Salon. So relieved to know her new location so my finicky curls can look their best again!

I had a wonderful experience! I booked a last-minute appointment with Misty for a haircut. I have fairly long, thick hair, with layers and I wanted to get a couple inches off and get it thinned out a bit. She really listened to exactly what I wanted and was very considerate to be conservative with The amount that she cut off at a time to be sure that I was happy with the length. She also took her time to make sure my hair was nice and even. I appreciated the attention to detail in the time spent to make sure that my experience was good and my cut was even better. Fantastic job!

I just left with my hair saved and heart full! I had an appointment with McKensie and she helped confirm that I did need a bang trim but didn't need to mess with anything else, as I had just chopped off 7 inches two months ago with the intention to grow the length of my hair out again. I was a nervous wreck because I just gotten the details of the brain surgery I'll be having in a few weeks. She talked me through how I could still come in even during recovery and get a dry cut so I could maintain my bangs and their crazy fast growth. McKensie was so sweet, thoughtful, and caring which made my day! I've needed a regular stylist to see and I think I just found her (:

I have been booking with Ryan Tucker for 1+ years - she’s highly skilled and is easy to small talk with during your appt time. Makes the time at the salon relaxing and enjoyable. I get haircuts and balayage and I’ve never been disappointed with the results! Highly recommend!

The salon itself is clean and comfortable. I was with Emily for a haircut and brow wax. She was very friendly and eager, but I felt like she didn’t hear or understand the majority of what I was asking her to do. At the risk of things going shorter ... and shorter ... I gave up on trying to make it work, and left. I was there for quite a long time while she tried to sort out what I was asking for, but ultimately ended up giving me the exact cut and brows I asked NOT to have. I spent almost $80, then went home and cried about how stupid I’m going to look at the party this weekend with my triangle hair and asymmetrical eyebrows. 😕

A wonderful hair salon with kind employees. I first came to salon ado after gettig highlights from a prior hair salon that I was not pleased with. They fixed my highlights and left me coming back to them from that point on!

Moved to Kansas City a months ago and was badly in need of a haircut. I'm always super nervous about letting someone new touch my hair. On top of that my friends had spent the better part of a morning convincing me to get bangs. I made an appointment with Emily and she was fantastic! Much like everyone else here, she was extremely friendly. I let her take a few inches off my hair and give me some shaggy eyebrow length bangs. She even styled it in some beach waves for me. I left the salon feeling so good about the way my hair looked. It was a bonus coming home to my boyfriends jaw dropping at the new bangs.

Not the business that I disliked as much as my stylist that disappointed me! When you work in a business like this, you need to love your job and people ! A lot of money for a lousy cut and color. Will not return.

Salon Ado is incredible! Jess has always done exceptional work to my hair with color and style. Huge bonus is she is super easy to talk with but will also respect your space if you dont feel like chatting. Sad I am moving away from KC and have to find a new stylist. Would recommend her and any of the stylists that work there!

The girl I had an appointment with said she was running late so another stylist took over. Nobody apologized or acknowledged it. The service was overpriced for the mediocre result. Also, the owner walks around and doesn't acknowledge clients at all. Just unpleasant vibes. I'd skip this one if I were you.

The space is so great, and Emily did an amazing job with my hair. She looked at what I wanted, and then talked me through any adjustments she suggested based on my hair and the way it naturally lays. With her adjustments I got the best bangs cut I've ever had! Very glad I tried Salon Ado out.
