I love this salon! I've been coming here for 13 years and it's reasonably priced and I'm always extremely happy with the service. Vassia is amazing and listens to what I want. I highly recommend!

Vassia truly goes above and beyond! I went in for my very first pixie cut and she was so caring, communicative, and made sure I was comfortable every step of the way. A week later, I attempted to trim my bangs and it did not go well. Vassia fit me in during her lunch break to help me fix it and refused to let me pay. I love my haircut and will definitely be coming back for many months/years to come. Thank you, Vassia! :-)

This was my first visit to Salon Ahda and meeting Vassia, it can be summed up in one word I rarely get the opportunity to use, phenomenal! She kindly squeezed me into her Saturday schedule on very short notice. Vassia is professional, conscientious, knowledgeable, and very experienced. Her blending, texturing, and shaping skills are a 10 plus. I presented her with an unbelievable hair challenge that she didn't bat an eye at, and I left with totally gorgeous, textured locks. She is talented beyond words, and I couldn't be happier with the results. If you're in search of a highly skilled stylist who gives every client five star service, and are fortunate enough to get on her schedule, you will leave feeling nothing short of fabulous. 😄 Thank you Vassia for such a warm welcome and an unforgettable Seattle experience! 🫶

I recently started going to Nathan at Salon Ahda and he’s been amazing! He’s very skilled, pays attention to details, and listens so well. I’ve gotten one of the best haircuts of my life and a Brazilian Blowout (fellow frizzy heads, believe the hype; it’s a game changer). I’m so happy to have found a stylist that listens and truly cares that his clients are satisfied. ❤️

First time. I had significant blonde hair highlights and just wanted darker root touchup to match what I had. I came out as a brunette. Stylist multitasking 2 others while I was processing. Tried to tell me I couldn't see highlights based on salon lighting. Bogus.

I wanted so much to love this salon. It is near my home and it looked so chic and welcoming. I'm not completely upset with my experience there, but sadly, I will not be going back. To start, they do not post their hours anywhere because they prefer to have scheduled appointments only and deter walk-ins. This didn't bother me, but it took a few tries of walking by and peeking in before I was able to catch them while they were open and get a consult. I asked for a price quote for a balayage hair color for my short-to-medium-length hair. I was quoted $200. That is my entire annual hair budget (and then some) but I went for it. During my appointment, I showed the stylist, who scheduled my appointment and did the consult, the video of the balayage color that I wanted to try and achieve. I know that stylists are not wizards and I did not expect it to be perfect. I stayed engaged during the entire process and made it very clear that I didn't want the color to go all the way to the root (because I'm not good at keeping up with it and didn't want hard lines as the hair grew out). The color I asked for had a combination of my naturally dark hair with gradually lighter coloring toward the front. What I received was not even relatively close to the video I showed the stylist. I ended up with completely dark hair with two 1-inch golden blond streaks in the front and a few oddly placed, stringy blond streaks scattered throughout the rest of my hair. All of the color went all the way up to my root, so it will grow out with hard lines. She did a great job with the cut, I was a bit hesitant with the color while I was still in the chair, so both the stylist and I agreed that I would reach out in a few days to let her know how I was feeling and if I wanted any changes made, which I really appreciated. By that evening I had firmly decided that the color was not working for me and I wanted it changed as soon as possible. Since then (approximately 4 weeks), I have reached out to the salon three separate times and have never received a call back. I haven't been able to catch the salon when it's open to walk in and ask for help getting the color fixed. I haven't completely given up on getting ahold of someone but I'm not optimistic. I also am not in a position to pay to get it fixed by them or anyone else. Others may have had absolutely great experiences, which is wonderful, but unfortunately I did not.

I’ve had very pleasant experience here and I highly recommend her to all of my friends and family. She’s amazing in what she does and I’ll definitely be returning. This is a really nice little Park in North Seattle I live right next door. They have tennis courts and a community center which is closed because of covid but I am looking forward to the end of covid and to be able to check out the community center my at new digs.

It was my first time here, the hairdresser listened to me when I told her I don't care for layers due to my hair type (fine, 2b, with a cowlick on both sides of my forehead). She actually listened! It was overall enjoyable experience.

Jenny does my hair and she is excellent! I appreciate that she picks up on my social cues and the days I don't feel like talking she is quiet with me and that days I do feel like talking she will chat it up with me. She seems easy going but professional at the same time. The place is so convenient for me. It's cute, clean and she has great products to choose from.The price is in my budget . Be sure to tip your stylist people. Now about my actual haircut, I absolutely love it. I came in with a picture on my phone of what I wanted and she nailed it the first time. Each time we tweak it a little more because I keep getting ideas about how it might work better for my life style. I groom doggies so I can see lines and imperfections, I have an eye for it, and I never see a hair out of place. I can't say enough good things . I hope your experience is as great as mine have been. I hope this small business makes it through this pandemic and continues to do well in the future.

She does exactly what you came for. She listen your ideas and then gives you her honest professional opinion which is best for you and your hair . 💇‍♀️. I can’t wait for my next visit.

Leslie at Salon Ahda on Greenwood is terrific. She is friendly, very professional, highly skilled and an all around great stylist. Leslie took my messy short hair and whipped it into a cute short cut that was just what I wanted. Highly recommend to all. I'll be back for sure.

Vassia did a great job on my hair! My hair was very damaged before and the color that I had was from year ago when I went to a different salon. Vassia did some fantastic highlights that made my hair look shiny and very moisturized! She went above and beyond to help bring my hair back to life with a beautiful color and cut! Will go back again soon! :)

My hair stylist was Vasilena. She was awesome. I have always had long hair and because I had gotten perm over a yr ago, I let my hair grow out because I was pregnant. Well my hair was getting so frizzy I knew I had to cut it short to get rid of perm. I have had bad experiences with hairstylists before, but she put my mind at ease. She listened to what I wanted and went slow and asked how short I was willing to go. Her knowledge in cutting hair, whether it is wet or dry, really made me grateful she knew what she was talking about. I will definitely be going back when I need hair maintenance.

Terrible! My hair was done by Vassia. I got the impression I was a very first customer in her life and she performed training in cutting hair on me. How they can charge $45 for the haircut that is done absolutely unprofessionally with a poor technique! Seems Vassia relies on using the product and a brush to cover a lousy job. After I left, I immediately made an appointment in a different place to correct the awful messy haircut, at least to make it acceptable. Thanks for the response, but a good haircut DOES NOT require to PUT a product on to cover up the bad technic skills. As you said my " Unwilligness to cooperate" was refusing to put a product on my hair. I never put any product on my hair and I had my hair done very well by real hairstylists. Vassia don't have sense of a style, has a very poor technic skills. I wish I just left the salon in a middle of her practicing on my hair, I was trying to be polite, though I had already observing that Vassia does not know what she was doing.
