Unfortunately I did not have a good experience at Salon Alchemy and will not be going back. For anyone reading this, do not trust the prices they have listed on their website. The website lists a full highlight as $140+ and I paid almost $300 for my service. I definitely think it's pretty scummy to mislead your clients like that. I also asked to have my curtain bangs trimmed and she gave me full bangs that did not look good at all. Not only this, but she let me leave the salon with my hair completely wet. This experience was definitely not worth $300. I'm very sad to give this review because I did like the end result of my highlight and I thought Rebecca was very nice. I was just in general disappointed with the websites lack of transparency about the price and the quality of my salon experience.

I really like the cut. I was getting a trim , I have a bob cut. My previous hairstylist did not cut my hair like I wanted. It’s a simple cut you would think. so I actually waited 6 months for it to grow out and Shea trimmed it perfect. The cost was a bit of a shock . It’s a simple short hair cut with wash and blow dry. I was charged $79 so make sure to ask , as it says online $56 and up.

This was my first time at Salon Alchemy and I had an awesome experience. Rebecca gave me halo highlights, a trim, and a curtain bang refresh. She was so sweet and really listened to what I wanted to achieve. I love the way my hair turned out. The vibes and music inside were great too. I'll definitely be back!

I’ve been coming here to get haircuts for the past three years and have always had a good experience. This past time I had Mal, and they’re probably my favorite hair stylist I’ve ever had. Great customer service and so good at pinning down what I wanted with my hair — made me feel super comfortable. Highly recommend!

Been going to Shea for a couple years now and love her! She is absolutely amazing. Legit has helped me go from platinum blonde to strawberry blonde to ombres. Plus she’s an absolute amazing person 💕💕

I have had my hair done by Rebecca twice now and am so impressed! My hair has always frustrated me because of the mixed texture and density; not only did she give me an amazing cut to bring out my waves but did a beautiful set of highlights that really complemented my natural color! I don’t want to trust anyone else with my hair now ! <3

I have had 2 cuts now, and I will forever be going back! It’s conveniently located close to my place of work, but even if it wasn’t, it would be worth it. Emily is very chill and easy to talk to, listens to what I want, doesn’t judge my lack of knowledge (I suck at hair), and did a great job both times. I’m extremely picky about who cuts my hair, I almost never keep up with maintenance, but I’ve been booking every 8 weeks and plan to keep it up! They were also very understanding when I had a sick kid and helped me to reschedule the next day! Cannot recommend them enough.

I went to go get my haircut by Kiko at Salon Alchemy, and it's my new go to "craziest hair cut" story When you walk into Salon Alchemy you will be welcomed by the lovely staff and they will begin to perform an amazing musical number they created called "Hair". At first I was thrown off by the name, thinking it was unoriginal and cliche, but the performance that they all put on was amazing. The choreographed dance numbers alone were out of this world. Kiko is very modest and probably won't brag about her amazing singing and dancing skills, but the part that really got me is when she pulled out a ventriloquism doll to sing and dance with, all while cutting my hair and dying it a "Gun metal grey" tone that came out just as I imagined it. Anyways None of this is true other than the fact Kiko is a wizard with the scissors, cuts and colors hair woth grace and beauty, and the staff is lovely.... get your hair cut here.

I trust her completely to use her judgment on what works best for my hair, and she does a beautiful job every single time. She is not only the best stylist I could ever ask for, but she’s become my friend over the years.

Rebecca did such an amazing job saving my yellow hair and giving me the exact look I wanted! She asks questions and listens before she does anything and makes you feel super heard! The entire staff is extremely kind!

This was my first time going to a salon since moving to Raleigh & im obsessed!! The vibes were great & Kiko was so cool to talk to & understood completely everything I wanted which means so much bc I’ve had bad experiences in the past. The color she gave me was the hands down the BEST color I’ve ever had. Sooo inlove with the color I’m going back for a refresh for my birthday! Love love love

Updating my review to say I'm still going to Mary and she's still kicking a$$ on my hair. I also had my hair colored for the first time by Rebecca and she did a great job! She customized the color to match my pasty white skin and was so friendly and efficient. I've been going to Mary for almost 5 years now and don't let anyone else touch my pixie cut. The staff is always welcoming and friendly, the space is bright and clean, and I've never heard anyone pressuring someone into a style they aren't sure about.

Maris did a superb job on shaping up my baby fine hair! I showed her what I wanted and she delivered! They sell Redkin products too! Highly recommend this very nice salon.

I went in with very light, cool tone highlights (done here in the past) and I left with dark brassy hair when the goal was adding more blonde. When I asked for it to be fixed, they made attempts that left my hair just as brassy. I have had my hair lightened for years and have never had such a bad result. The worst part was the customer service of the manager. Before even seeing my hair in person, she was very unkind about me wanting it redone. Once viewing it and agreeing it was darker, she kept her rude tone and gave several excuses.. Every member of the staff also quoted the correction policy differently. If you decide to go, assume you will not be able to get any corrections made without being belittled.
