Hannah is extremely personable, talented, and thorough! I’ve visited more than my fair share of hair stylists and Hannah shines brightly. She listens to my ideas (good and bad), creates a game plan that works towards my long term hair goals, and executes the vision perfectly. I just visited today but I’m already excited for my next appointment 🤗 scheduling is always very easy and straight forward completely online, no phone calls needed.

Angeline is the only person I trust with my thick, coarse, curly hair! She does an amazing job every time I go in. The salon itself is warm and inviting and has a great atmosphere!

Absolutely loved my stylist Grace! She did amazing work with my hair. She took her time to really listen to what I wanted. She also educated me on the best way to care for my hair. I definitely plan on working with her again!

Angeline has been cutting my hair for years. She is incredible for men’s cuts. So excited that she has her own salon now and taking this next step for her career. The vibe of the place is amazing and is a reflection of the person that Angeline is.

I had the worst experience at Salon Apothecary. After communicating with Grace since late May with an inspo pic that had a dark base with grey money pieces and grey lowlights, she assured me we could do that. I sent her updated of how my hair was fading so at anytime she could have said it wasn’t possible. I was at my appt for 6 hours and came out with patchy roots, hair that was red in some areas, green in others, etc. I let her know I wasn’t happy and gave her the chance to fix it with the owner there. I sent her several other inspo pics of just heavily highlighted hair in case what I wanted wasn’t in her capabilities but she was set on doing the inspo. Not only did she not do the inspo at the second appt she fried my hair. I had to find someone the next day to try and salvage the color, and chop off the fried parts but it was so fried I had the “Karen” haircut. I was devastated! I cried everytime I looked in the mirror at myself. I did receive a refund, but I had to pay $470 for the appt for someone else and even then it was awful, so I made an appt for an extension consult. Thank God that girl was able to work magic on my hair, but at the end of the day I wasted over 28 hours and over $1800 (that’s minus the $270 refund I received) to fix the mess up that happened at Salon Apothecary. I know most people say it’s just hair but when your hair is where you show your creativity and you’ve waited months for this color only to be botched, it’s awful. I would not recommend this salon or if you do go to have an in depth consult bc I was told this was possible when obviously it wasn’t. I’d love to be compensated for the money I’m out but I’m sure that will never happen which is why I’m writing this review, maybe it will save the next person. I’m very particular about my hair and Angeline always does a fantastic job. I highly recommend her for men’s haircuts. She’s been cutting my hair for almost 10 years and I can’t imagine going anywhere else.

Quick and easy to book online and get in for a great haircut. Hannah did a great job on my hair matching my existing style, but I am sure you can’t go wrong with anyone here. They’ll touch up your beard as well.

This is the place to be! The entire experience was fantastic, from the decor to the stylist. The building is wheelchair accessible with a newly built ramp leading up to the entrance. The salon is cohesively decorated which creates a pleasant vibe. I felt welcomed and at ease during the entire appointment. The salon owner was present and clearly committed to creating a pleasurable experience for customers. The stylist, KELLS, is amazing! She is clearly knowledgeable, from understanding the desired style to the best products for my hair. She spent an appropriate amount of time making sure we were clear on the type of hairstyle I wanted before even touching my hair. I am beyond pleased with the outcome. The only thing I would recommend is turning into the driveway/parking lot from the left, as a right turn is kinda tight. 10/10 - would recommend! Support your community and small business owners.

Salon Apothecary is my one and only go-to for a great cut, for gorgeous color, and for an all-around amazing experience. Angeline takes time to understand what I’m looking for and always offers thoughtful suggestions and guidance when I want to try something different. She is constantly learning new techniques and refining her skills, which is super impressive and always apparent in her high-quality work. She is also SO fun and engaging, and I enjoy all of our conversations on the most random and interesting things. I walk out of my appointments feeling happy and cared for, and my hair looks awesome—I couldn’t ask for a better stylist or salon!

Very very kind and professional! Very clean and sleek workplace. I loved everything about the environment and the stylists there! They have great prices and are amazing at their job. I got icey highlights, a haircut, makeup, and brow lamination. They have a wonderful selection of services they offer. Love this place! Will be going back !! 😊

An appointment with Makayla truly recharges my batteries. If you told me her hands were made of gold I’d probably believe you lol. Makayla provides much more than just a service- she greatly cares about the experience you have while in her chair. Her passion and excitement for her work is just electric and from the moment I met her I knew she’d have a customer for life out of me!

The vibe here is fantastic! 10/10 would recommend making an appointment. My stylist Hannah was patient with my bright ideas and set things into motion to get my hair back to where I wanted it! I have met some other stylists in passing and everyone is very friendly! I absolutely LOVE all of the all natural products available. Anyone looking to embrace that self care to a new level, visit this little gem, you’ll love it!

I visited for the first time on Wednesday and Makayla did such an amazing job on my hair. She talked me through everything that she was going to did and listened to all of my concerns she did such a great job and I can’t wait for my next appointment.

I was back home in Cincinnati to visit a friend, and my hair was driving me bonkers. I'm a cosmetologist, myself, and went to hair school in Cincinnati, so I know a lot of stylists all over the city, but all of my hair homies were booked. On a lark, I booked a haircut with the first place that looked cool on Google Maps, and ended up in Makayla's chair. Let me tell you something: As someone who is a technical cutting nerd and has been in the industry for 17 years, Makayla is spot on. My hair is so thick, it would be a nightmare for anyone to cut, and I frequently end up with haircuts where I can tell the stylist got tired halfway through, but she handled my thick, curly mane with ease. She also took my feedback and tweaked my cut until it was perfect, which I so appreciate. Not everyone can make you feel comfortable asking for tweaks to be made, and she definitely did. I highly, HIGHLY recommend Makayla to anyone looking for a haircut, specifically if you have thick or curly hair and are needing someone to really get in there and give you shape. I will 100% be back to Makayla the next time I'm in Cincinnati.

Wonderful place. Angeline puts so much effort and knowledge into what she does. The results are always fantastic. She is helping me grow my uneven hair out post chemo and I wouldn’t trust anyone else to do it. The salon is beautiful and inviting. Definitely worth a try 😊

It is really hard to find a stylist equally terrific at both color and cut. That is what you get with Angeline. I have now been going to her for 9 years! I have visited other stylists and none compare. Some may cost less, and some more, but none come close to the quality of Angeline's work. I have more examples than can fit on one review, but the bottom line is run, don't walk, to your next appointment with her! Her new location at Salon Apothocary is booking up fast. Today I just got a smoothing treatment. It is the best one I've ever had.
