I have been coming to Michael at Salon Bastille for a little over a year. I came to him with a lot of curly hair with not much shape. I told him what I wanted to achieve and he made it happen. He listened to me, showed me how to use the products and taught me how to style it. He has selected the colors for high and low lights to incorporate my graying hair. I am so pleased with what he has done with my hair. Everyone there is so friendly, I highly recommend Salon Bastille.

Awsome place to get your hair done. The owner is so involved too. It is a little pricy but I think its worth the cost. Farrah is my lady who does my hair and she is wonderful. Listens but gives ideas to better yourself.

I want to thank Michael and his team for being really good people. I was in the middle of a move. They fit me in , they put up with alot of stress that was undue and they were gracious through it all. Ive only been here twice but I will go back over and over again! The staff is so nice and the salon is beautiful! Ive only had Meredith so far and i dont think ill ever switch. I've been to many salons and have never had good results but both times shes worked on my hair it has come out amazing! These stylists are amazing!

Let me I traduce myself as a client first before I give my review: I have virgin DARK hair. I am picky, I know what I want, and giving someone control over how I look that I have never met before causes HUGE anxiety. I had a vision in my head and that was all I wanted. Let me introduce Fara, a quiet hairstylist (which suited my introvert self perfectly) who asked a lot of questions, showed a lot of pictures, to make sure I got exactly what I wanted. And let me tell you, Fara DID IT! She did exactly what I wanted, took my vision and put it on my head!! The request: “I want red lowlights but I don’t want them to stand out, I want them to look blended. Just to accentuate my natural red tones that are hidden in there. I also want curtain bangs that aren’t curtain bangs because I have a side part. I don’t want any blunt lines, and I like it all to look smooth but not frizzy. Please help me.” Now you get the mess that I handed this poor girl! But I am SO HAPPY with it, and will absolutely be coming back to Fara for all my hair needs in the future! Just look at it 😭♥️

My stylist was Fara, she was fantastic, she really cared that I came away happy and I did! I had gray highlights and she made sure they were blended well and not to damage my hair. I also got a cut that I love

Called for a "spur of the moment" cut and style and they fit me right in! Friendly mother & daughter team, plus I got a fabulous new style! Just an FYI (and the reason for 4 of 5 stars) - they don't take credit cards, so bring cash or your checkbook. Other than that, a great place! Edit: the salon just replied to my review 8 years after I posted it.. looks like they now accept credit cards. At the time I wrote the review (8 years ago) they did not. Good to know they now do!

Fara is by far the best I’ve ever had work on my hair! She’s amazing, very detail oriented, great conversation, and made my vision a reality. Completely changed my hair and will definitely be back to see her.

Recently my wife came into your salon to have her hair cut and colored. She had an appointment with Fara. My wife was having a bit of an off day, and wasn't sure about the service she received while she was there. She came home and after I saw it too, told her how wonderful it looked, she started coming into her new style. In her words 'Fara is a rockstar' and 'i will go back to see her.' in my words, she will be back to see her. Update: she has been back, and Fara is no one-hit wonder. Still great, still a rockstar, still coming back and can't wait to see her again!

After I met Michael a couple years ago I was so taken away by how he presents himself. After I met him, I’ve been a client of his at the salon for a couple of years. He’s very talented, professional and friendly. I always leave more than happy! He also has other stylists who are amazing. The salon is very clean, up to date and everyone at the salon are very welcoming and provide outstanding customer service. I will never go anywhere else. I highly recommend!

I came in to have my hair bleached back to blonde and evened out for my senior portraits. I left with it looking significantly more uneven than when I came in. Everyone at the salon was very polite to me but I would not recommend this place because of how my hair turned out. It is still visibly uneven today (my appointment was in august) and unfortunately very visible in my senior portraits. we spent a lot of money on this because my portraits were very important to me and it is just disappointing .
