In my experience the first time I had Kathy cut my hair and my daughter's hair was great. Than I came for a cut and dye with pictures of front and back. I took my normal anxiety medication and it made me tired I fell asleep a couple of times as it took a long time . I was told by the owner because of this they were worried about what was wrong with me. Only after I didn't receive the dye or cut I asked for. Than on top of all of it a 20$ came up missing as I went to get more money from my husband I gave her 100$ bill A 20$bill 10$bill and 2x $5 bills before I walked out I counted to in the car rt in front of my husband to tip her 40$ 167$ for the cut I received 20$back you do the math. I kindly asked her to fix it she said yes for 55$ more. Maybe if Kathy wasn't so occupied with showing pictures of her husband in jail and all his new tattoos she could have spent more time getting my hair bleached rt I have never had to come back to get bleached again let alone pay another fee to make it rt. The owner was rude suggested I was that it's my fault because of my prescription medication for anxiety made everyone uncomfortable because it makes me tired. In conclusion I wouldn't waste my time on this salon if they don't give you what you asked for it will your fault ultimately. If you do avoid Kathy like the plague. As it stands now I thought the cut needed to be tweeked a little more if I could post pictures its ridiculous now I've payed another salon to fix the back that the stylest said wasn't sure how you got that cut from the mess of uneaven levels of hair in the back so thanks again teaching another lesson oh who u choose to just do your hair.

I have now seen Lindsey twice and loved working with her both times. The first time was just a cut, but she did exactly what I wanted. The second time I saw Lindsey, I got blonde highlights. She took care of my hair and explained that highlights were a better transition to blonde with my hair that had been box dyed auburn. Prices were affordable, and I have found my go-to stylist!

Honestly the best salon I've ever been to !! Ashley & Teresa are the primary stylists I go to but I'm certain the others are awesome and give good service as well. Since coming here by recommended by Ashley a few years ago, I've not been anywhere else! When Ashely took some time off recently she recommended Teresa and she is awesome and gives great service as well ! I recommend someone at least weekly here. I can honestly say nothing but positive about this place ! Overall great service and outstanding experiences! Thank you!!! ❤

I've been here four times and recently got my hair colored dark red. I sent my stylist a picture beforehand and she got it exactly the shade I was looking for! The building itself has a trendy and comfortable interior. You won't regret coming here and without a doubt you'll be back!

Nice salon but it’s hard to find good stylists in north KC if you’re new to the area. Lot of hit or miss. Seems like no one wants a client who doesn’t color their hair ($$$); not worth their time, I guess?
